Shampoo -Bumble & Bumble - Creme de Coco
rated 5 of 5

This shampoo is fabulous on my curly frizzy hair. It smells great and you only need a tiny bit. After I used a bit out of the bottle, I usually add a bit of water to it and shake it up so it's more runny, just so it's easier to use. I will definitely repurchase.

Crème -Chanel - Vitalumiere Hydra (Moist Radiance Emulsion Compact)

I just started using this about 3 months ago, after deciding Giorgio Armani's Face Fabric did not have the staying power for me. I also wanted something that was fast and easy to apply. I absolutely love this product and I will be buying again. I have pretty fair skin and I bought the Beige 10. I apply it with a Mac 130 brush which works REALLY well. I never used the sponge. It covers up any redness and minor blemishes and I have received lots of compliments. It feels really nice on, not heavy or uncomfortable, and I haven't had any break outs. I have very dry skin, but this is perfect for me. I have to remember to exfoliate regularly, but that's no different for with any other foundation. By the end of the day my face still looks good. If it's hot or humid I use a bit of cornstarch power over the top. HG!!

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Olive Oil as Serum for Hair
rated 3 of 5
Wippy 10/10/2010 9:05:00 PM

I have 3b hair and since running out of leave in conditioner and treatments I thought I'd give this a go as my hair was REALLY frizzy. All the curl left and was replaced with boof. Sadly, OO did not change anything although I really wanted it to. It did make my hair a lot softer and it felt nice, but somehow it did not reduce the frizz at all. I tried coconut oil and jojoba oil and there was the same result. Now that I have bought a treatment and leave in conditioner my hair is transformed! I will use the OO again (sometimes) but just to compliment a leave in conditioner and normal treatments.

Mascara -Giorgio Armani - Eyes to Kill
rated 5 of 5
Wippy 9/22/2010 9:36:00 AM

I LOVE THIS MASCARA!! I just bought this yesterday and already I love it. It is dramatic, it lengthens and defines but unlike everything else I've ever tried like it, it does not leave me with raccoon eyes after a few hours. No flaking or smudging like DiorShow or many Maybelline mascaras. It goes on amazingly too, so smooth. I don't know what Tefferific is talking about below, with the bottom lashes. I have really long top and bottom lashes and either way Eyes To Kill worked wonderfully for me. Right now, 12 hours after first applying my eyes look exactly the same as when I first applied. I have not been able to say this ever before. Plus my lashes look super long and my eyes are really defined. My only problem is the price. A$55! OMG! But at the Armani counter in DJ in Sydney City the rep said that over 7% of sales is made up of just this product, so clearly lots of other people don't find that very expensive. I will be repurchasing. Although it's expensive I don't like spending less and totally wasting my money.

Mascara -Shu Uemura - Mascara Basic [DISCONTINUED]
rated 3 of 5
Wippy 9/18/2010 9:56:00 PM

After reading all the great reviews I decided to give this a go. I should have paid more attention to the people who said NOT to buy this if you are looking for extreme volume. I have long, curly lashes already and this product did nothing to emphasise them. Yes, it did look very natural, but I am after something with more oomph!

Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash Volume Mascara
rated 2 of 5
Wippy 9/14/2010 9:57:00 PM

It's good for the first couple of hours, but after that it just flakes and smudges all over my face. It does define, and lengthen well, but the flaking is out of control! Won't repurchase. I should have looked on here before I bought it.

Foundations -Giorgio Armani - Face Fabric Second Skin Nude Makeup
rated 5 of 5
Wippy 9/10/2010 4:59:00 AM

I love this product! I don't really like foundations, I just wanted something that made my skin look more perfect, but not doll-like in photos. This does the job! My face tends to be a bit red, and I have a few freckles and maybe the occasional pimple. With this product the red goes away and any imperfections are blurred. It doesn't look like I'm wearing makeup at all, just that I have great skin. It feels nice on, not heavy and it doesn't irritate my skin like some products do. GA products are all excellent on my sensitive skin. Best of all, since the coverage is so light your natural skin colour still shows and you don't get that mask effect that some foundations give. Face Fabric is super easy to apply, I use my MAC 190 brush, and it's perfect every time, no streaks and great coverage. I'll definitely re-purchase.

Self Tanners -Clarins - Gelee Auto Bronzant Express - Self-Tanning Instant Gel
rated 5 of 5
Wippy 11/30/2008 4:50:00 AM

I was a bit sceptical reading the reviews, but I had a wedding to go to and I needed to tan my legs. I don't want to look "You must be wearing fake tan because there is no way you are that brown naturally", and that is why I don't like the L'Oreal airbrush tan. Yes, it looked great, but it was just too dark. I do tan a little bit and I wanted a product that I can use on my upper thighs and stomach etc for when I go to the beach to avoid the horrid tanned legs and white thighs syndrome. I also didn't want to smell! This product was fantastic. Very little smell, medium tan (I'll reapply if I want to go darker), didn't come off on the bedsheets, no streaks (not even on my feet!), nice natural look. I put this on after I had a shower last thing at night and the next morning I was super-happy with the result. The price is not nice, but I will be repurchasing!

Hair Styling Tools -GHD - IV Styler (all sizes)
rated 5 of 5
Wippy 11/30/2008 4:43:00 AM

So I had finally perfected blow-drying my curly hair straight when the GHD came out. At first I thought this was a gimick, and would be just like the crappy $60 ones you can buy. After hearing so many great reviews though I decided to go for it and buy one. I got the wide plated GHD and I love it! It heats up in 2 minutes and my hair is gorgeous and straight in about 20 minutes - no product required. My hairdresser told me that I should have got the regular thin style so I could create waves and curls etc, but I have curly hair already! This is so much faster since you can straighten more hair at once. I think it would take me more like 30 minutes with the thin one. Anyway, if you are planning on getting a flat iron, just get this and forget the rest. You won't be sorry and they last and last and last. 3 years on and mine is still good as new. My only problem is with my hair that will go curly in the damp night air or the rain but that is another story!

Styling Products -Redken - Ringlet
rated 5 of 5
Wippy 10/17/2008 9:18:00 PM

I LOVE this product! I bought it before checking on here and was then a bit disappointed to see so many people who didn't like it. I gave it a try, just one pump on my thick curly hair, which is just past my shoulders. As mentioned by everyone else it had no hold and was just frizzy and yuk. Then a week later I tried 2 pumps, 1 on the top half of my just washed hair, and 1 on the ends. FANTASTIC! I didn't comb it through or anything, and just left it to air dry and 1 hour later my hair looks gorgeous with defined curls and some ringlets too. I don't scrunch until my hair is totally dry, and by then it looks so good I don't even bother. I just scrunch lightly if my hair is a bit crunchy in places, but most of the time it's just nice and soft. I have to add that Ringlet seems to work better when it is a warm sunny day (as it is here in Australia now) than when it is cold and rainy. I don't know why, but I am guessing the drying time is longer and this seems to leave my hair without body or much curl.

Cleansers -Dove - Cool Moisture foaming cleanser with cucumber extract and green tea
rated 4 of 5
Wippy 9/29/2008 11:20:00 AM

I like foaming cleansers and this one is quite good. I can just use it in the shower. My only problem is that it seems to be so thick and hard to squeeze out of the tube! I need the grip of an ape to get it out. I need to mix it with a bit of water to actually get it to foam up.

Mascara -Clinique - High Impact Mascara
rated 3 of 5
Wippy 9/29/2008 11:04:00 AM

I got a free sample of this the other day although I can't say I'm too impressed. My big problem is that it smudges really badly under my eyes by the end of the day. It also doesn't really do much. My lashes are really long and curly, but I don't find that this mascara improves them. I won't be purchasing this.

Moisturizers -Olay - Total Effects Moisturizing UV Formula
rated 1 of 5
Wippy 9/29/2008 10:59:00 AM

Don't like this product: 1. Too much wasted plastic. Why do I need all that? 2. It burns my skin! It's not really that sensitive either. I used it twice and gave it to my DH to use. We won't be buying it again.

Conditioner -Avalon Organics Botanicals - Peppermint Revitalizing Conditioner
rated 3 of 5
Wippy 9/29/2008 10:36:00 AM

I have curly hair that gets frizzy really easily. This conditioner is no good when I leave it to air dry. However if I straighten it with my GHD it's not bad. Lovely smell, although that is not enough for me to repurchase.

Moisturizers -Clinique - Superdefense SPF 25 Age Defense Moisturizer
rated 4 of 5
Wippy 9/29/2008 10:33:00 AM

This moisturiser is great. The only thing I don't like is the price! I'd love to be able to be more generous with the cream and use it on my neck and chest, but since I know I will have to spend another A$90 once it's all used up I usually don't. I would repurchase... although before I do I am going to have a look around for something a bit cheaper.
