In my opinion this beats stuff like Diorshow and Bad gal hands down. decent packaging, scent free( unlike the maybelline colossal), awesome mascara that really plumps up your lashes. p.s i curl my lashes using shu uemura, use this as my first coat, run a lash comb through (i use a metallic one, the plastic ones are no good)use the cover girl lash blast length for my second coat and i LOVE the effect.
i love this massage bar...it really smells boozy...but vanilla-ish too at the same time...it really does remind me of the holidays....i dont really like the glitter mustache like thing in the middle of the bar...but everything else..scent,feel,moisturization and look...... i love!
Love the smell...very warm and spicy...but dislike the fact that it doesnt lather much....(and since i slather on body butters/moisturizer, sometimes i think nothing short of a harsh soap will lather on me...)
Good God!...i threw this into the tub, it looked quite cute as it fizzed up, turned the water a weird orangey red...(it looked like the santa died in there) and stank like stale mossy water. two minutes into the bath, unable to bear the stench..i drained the water. EEYUCK. stay away.
This little scrubby moisturizing bar was a little too abrasive for me. Its meant to be used in the shower.....(use it away from the direct stream of water or it'll melt really quickly....and you just massage it over damp skin...and it exfoliates and moisturizes at the same time...) Like I already said...I found it to be too harsh for an exfoliant...and as a moisturizer...though it is moisturizing...i found that it left a greasy film on me and didn't really absorb completely...actually as afar as moisturizer is concerned I'm addicted to Jergens...and I've used it everyday for the last 11 years...and anything else I use...including Lush massage bars...are more for the relaxation/aromatherapy than the actual moisturizing. If you happen to stop by Lush...ask them to demonstrate how it works...its the best way to figure if you'll like this product.
OOh! I could go on and on and on about how awesome this smells!...Divine!!!....very sexy, intoxicating smell... Its perfect for a romantic evening...it does take a while to get absorbed...but IMO thats one of the good things about it...nothing beats a long sexy massage!!!
This smells like dessert!!!!...very vanilla-ish and sweet...skin feels super moisturized. It's great stuff...I really like it.
Not one of Lush's better products. I got a large sample and used it almost for a week before deciding against purchasing it. It smells a lot like calamine lotion and like everyone else says the seaweed is a real pain...it gets everywhere...it doesnt really leave my face feeling clean...but neither does it calm redness, nor does it leave it moisturized( i used this during a bout of sensitivity...so i did expect a lot more than this delivered.) so honestly, this didnt do anything for me. blah.
This cleanser scrub like most other Lush cleansers is a bit of a pain in that you have to pinch a piece off, work it into a paste with some water and cleanse-scrub your skin. It works like a charm...but I've only used this when my skin is oily and in summertime...so I dont know how this would work on drier skin types...I also left it on as a mask a couple of times...and it really left my face feeling matte, and fresh. Overall...I really like it. p.s... i was just going through my reviews...and almost all of them are Lush related...so i just want to clarify...that I'm just into Lush at the moment...and I dont work for them or anything!!:)
What an amazing shampoo this is!...I bought it once, used it along with retread( a conditioner from Lush) and my hair was so soft and smelled great... I LOVE how this smells...simply amazing!!...lathers well, makes hair clean without overdrying it, and really does get rid of product buildup...its a dream shampoo!!!... Unfortunately..I have thick hair that falls way beyond my butt...and i wash it almost everyday so the hefty price tag on this and rehab combined means that the largest sizes in both dont last me very long....and so I'm back to using Dove as my shampoo...I'm going to switch to this once I have me some more money!:)
Though I do like this product, I'm giving it a low rating simply because i feel throwing in a lttle castor sugar, olive oil and some essential oils does not justify an almost $10(with tax) price tag. It works, sure, but come on!...i can whip this up anytime on my own...and i can get creative deciding how i want to flavor my lip scrub too! besides i still think a toothbrush with a little vaseline works better. dont waste your money on this, instead go the DIY route...there are a ton of recipes out there...and you get better stuff for 10 bucks...
Good stuff, for sure...I dab it on when my face is slightly damp from the toner and massage it in...its quite moisturizing...not too heavy, not too light...but then again my skin is going through a dry phase right now..so i dunno... In the morning, i mix it in with a little sunscreen and massage it in, in the evening, i use it under my serum bar if my skin is feeling dry or sometimes i skip it and just stick to the serum( the one im using currently is Lush's Full of grace)... Another thing I love is the smell....i find it difficult to describe...but i can smell some roses in there....or maybe its me...im going through a rose phase right now!!:) Overall, worth a buy...but the price IS steep for a product that is certainly no miracle worker.
Got this with Winter wonderland( one of Lush's Xmas hatboxes)...what is this thing supposed to do...it smells like...nothing, doesnt lather, doesnt work as a scrub, and has nothing in its favor but that its a pretty blue.. Oh yeah and my bottle gunked up on me and i had to spend half an hour with a straw trying to get the bottom sediment of salt to mix in with the top layer of...whatever it was. An absolute dud from Lush. They dont have many, to their credit.

Cleansers -The Body Shop - Tea Tree Oil Foaming Face Wash
Winnie15 1/15/2011 10:28:00 PM
I've used this facewash a million times in the past, its the one I always end up with when my skin decides to swing from dry combination to oily combination and acne prone. I love the minty camphory smell and the instant wake me up feeling...I work it in with my Clarisonic...and it does a pretty good job of cleansing. It doesnt keep my face matte, and in about three hours, my nose starts to look like an oil slick, so i do need blotting papers as the day progresses. Also it does nothing to either treat or prevent acne...and I've used the whole line...with the toner, the gel( which is no longer available...its a mattifying face gel) and spot treatment with the essential oil....I use it because I have several bottles which I bought on sale and because I still havent found a product I love enough to replace this with. Overall, average product, lovely smell...I dont know whats with me and scents nowadays but my nose is making too many decisions as far as skincare goes:)
