Mascara -Shiseido - The Makeup Advanced Volume Mascara

I have to say that I'm really impressed by this mascara. It provides excellent volume, thickness, length and definition. Everything you would want from a mascara basically. I have it in black and it's a very true dark black which is lovely. The staying power is good but I don't think it's completely waterproof. I wouldn't swim in it in other words but if your eyes water or your caught out in the rain...I wouldn't worry about it. I tried the Shiseido Extra Length mascara and that seemed to be more waterproof...but I like the Advanced Volume formula much better. I highly recommend this!
Really the worst mascara I have ever used! Smudged almost immediately after applying it. Isn't waterproof like it's supposed to be yet took forever to remove completely...irritated my eyes horribly. All around bad quality. Smashbox is one of the worst brands of makeup out there in my opinion. If you want a good waterproof mascara, I recommend trying Shiseido.
This is the crappiest eyeliner I have ever used. I got this in the new Watercolors kit at Sephora and I'm sorry to say that each and every product out of that kit is really bad quality. I couldn't get the eyeliner to make a decent line and then when it looked halfway normal, it smudged right off. Don't buy into the hype...this is garbage. Try MAC's Fluidline for a quality eyeliner.
A basic run of the mill mascara. Doesn't thicken or volumize but does provide good definition and length for the most part. The thing I don't like about this is that it seems to flake in a matter of minutes and continues to through out the day. The small brush makes is a little messy to apply also. All around..not that bad but could be better.
Treatments (Eye) -Burt's Bees - Repair Serum with Attar of Rose

Finally something that hydrates my eye area that doesn't give me milia! I feel like jumping for joy! Seriously though...this stuff is amazing. I'm only 22 so I don't have any major wrinkles yet but I do have some fine/laugh lines around my eyes that bother me a little and this does help to soften them out. I also have this weird puffy bag thing happening mostly under my right eye that most people don't notice (but of course I do) that I probably got from sleeping on that side and this has helped to minimize that as well. I only use this at night though since it doesn't seem to absorb very fast and I don't think it would work well under make-up. Still...it's totally a winner and I am very pleased.
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Facial Lotion

I have this in the sensitive skin formula and so far this moisturizer is working like a charm! Makes my skin so soft and smooth and doesn't really sting at all. I have not had a breakout from this yet (fingers crossed) and it gets rid of any dry skin I might have without feeling heavy or making me oily. Works well under make-up and doesn't make my skin feel greasy in the least. I definitely recommend this.
This along with Burt's Bees Garden Tomato toner are both wonderful toners that don't dry out my skin at all. And that's no easy feat because EVERY toner I think I've ever tried does not agree well with my skin. This smells wonderful and feels oh sooo refreshing. I use this when I feel like my skin is a little oily but don't need to wash it yet and it works great for that. Also works nicely to remove any left over make-up. A great find. Highly recommended!
I got this in a sample pack along with the Garden Tomato soap and I'm really loving this. It makes my skin very clean feeling and removes any left over stuff after washing off my make-up. One of the only toners I've ever used that doesn't dry out my skin. Probably one of the best toners I've ever used period! My skin looks so much better. I'm in love with Burt's Bees so far. All of their products are so wonderful for the most part. And believe me...I've tried thousands! lol.
Cleansers -Burt's Bees - Wild Lettuce Complexion Soap

I bought this in a sample pack with the Garden Tomato soap and I'm not sure which one I love more! They are both incredible. I love how clean this makes my skin and how soft as well...it isn't drying at all. I don't mind the smell...it's kind of refreshing. Between this and the tomato soap along with the tomato toner and the pore refining mask all by Burt's Bees...my skin has improved dramatically. the texture is much smoother and softer and breakouts are less. Would definitely recommend this.
Cleansers -Burt's Bees - Garden Tomato Complexion Soap [DISCONTINUED]

So far I am really loving this soap a lot. I bought it in a sample pack along with the Wild Lettuce soap which I also love and I'm very happy I did. I'm going to go buy the full size of this when the small one is gone. This leaves my skin so clean and soft and doesn't dry me out at all. I use this along with the Garden Tomato toner and it's just remarkable in the short time I've been using this how much the texture of my skin has improved. Also the recent breakout out I got before I started using this has greatly diminished. So very Impressed. Smells great too and also does a pretty good job of removing make-up. Love the idea of not putting a bunch of chemicals on my skin. Since this I have explored other Burt's Bees products and I'm really liking everything for the most part! Awesome line.
I bought this along with the matching shampoo and I am quite disappointed. Both left my hair feeling very dry and frizzy. The shampoo irritated the crap out of my scalp (I only use conditioner on my ends) and made it very itchy. I hate the smell of this...awful. I would not recommend to anyone with hair that has the slightest tendency to dry out.
I really thought I would like this but unfortunately it isn't what I was hoping for at all. I paired it along with the Rosemary Mint Rinse and they both dried out my hair and made it quite frizzy. For reference I have thick wavy long hair that is not color treated or heat styled. It also irritated my scalp and made it itchy. I do not recommend this to people with sensitive scalps. The smell is also not that good...feels like I'm washing with doublemint gum or something. Ick. Moving on to something else....
Cleansers -Clean & Clear - Makeup Removing Cleanser
Wildflower583 5/3/2006 5:21:00 AM
This is one of the only cleansers I've ever tried that removes my makeup in it's entirety....that being said it literally strips my skin leaving it extremely dry and irritated after only a couple nightly uses. I wanted to love this considering it's so cheap and easily found but it just doesn't work for me. I don't even usually have that dry of skin but wow...I do now. If you have extremely oily skin then this might work for you but if you even have a little tendency to dry out from certain cleansers then use this with precaution.
Mascara -Shiseido - The Makeup Extra Length Mascara
Wildflower583 5/3/2006 4:58:00 AM
I have mixed feelings about this mascara. On one hand it's one of the most long wearing mascara's I've ever tried, never smudges or runs..truly waterproof. On the other hand if not applied with perfect precision it clumps quite badly. For reference I have short ordinary lashes. Kind of weighs my lashes down which is not what you want in a mascara. Also, the fibers in this are really weird like little pieces of something that don't seem to do very much except fall off the brush and into my eye. I am however not giving up on Shiseido's mascara. I am going to exchange this for the Lasting Lift formula to see if that works better because the staying power of this really is amazing.
I don't know why...but most pink blush makes me look like I have a sunburn or something..maybe that's because my skin is so pale. This fabulous blush from NARS somehow doesn't! It makes me look like I have a healthy pink glow and it totally brightens up my whole face. I love it! My favorite color of blush that I've ever used. I tried NARS Orgasm blush...but I think this suits me better. Beautiful color and texture and I love their packaging.
