Treatments (Eye) -Unlisted Brand - Easy Eye Solutions Eye Tuck and Dark Circle Treatment
WendyKR 4/16/2009 12:54:00 PM
I found out about this product while in a skin care forum that I have been in for years. Essentialdayspa.com Several women were raving about it and even had some before and after pictures. It was quite impressive. I did some more research on the web and watched the commercials/videos they had on youtube. The ladies in the forum said that the owner of the company and creator of this product was always available to help. So I emailed Zack and he WAS extremely helpful to what ever questions I had. I lurked around that thread for awhile reading about the experiences of the users before I tried it. It was just too much to keep hearing all these great stories and seeing the pics I had to buy it. This is a treatment that offers two products. One being the Illuminating Eye Cream and the other the Eye Tuck Serum that also treats dark circles. You are not required to get both products but it seems that most do because you get the best results. Zack said there is a learning curve to using this. some have had a white residue show up after a few minutes. There are many ways to apply it and different methods for different people. I'm sure because there are so many skin types and age is a factor as well. first the Illuminating Cream is very nice and goes on easy. It has little light effects to make the under eye area lighter. I use that liberally as I was instructed by the ladies if I had dry skin. The first few times I did it all without make up. What I learned is that it WILL smooth great if you use a lot but will then show a white residue. So I was using too much and it was the way I used it. What I learned is i can use more without the flakes if I apply the cream, then mix a drop of serum in my concealer (oil based-any kind will work) and then apply. Wait about 15 min and apply another coat. And my oh my do I look fabulous! It really appears as if i got an lower eye tuck! All smooth as if I were in my 20s! I'm 41. I do it that way every time and never have any flakes. I have almost had an accident while driving because I kept looking in my mirror! Later on in the day you can add another coat to freshen up. I also use a brush to apply the serum. It seems to help. Now men use this too. a lot of them. So you do not need make up at all for it to work. If you want as much info as you can get and see results of real users either go to that forum I was talking about or do a search on youtube for the name of this product. Email zack for questions as he gets back to you lickety split!!! The price is not bad when you consider how well it works. For my circles I see immediate results as it helps my concealer do its job and that has never happened before. I will add an update later on to see what happens for the cumulative effects. It is just wonderful. It is SO WEIRD seeing it smooth under my eyes! I put MY photos up here to show you. I hope you can see it. UPDATE: I'm getting a lot of emails for where to buy so I am just posting it right here: http://www.easyeyesolutions.com/easyeyesolutions_home.html

Treatments -Origins - Youthtopia™ Age-correcting serum with Rhodiola
WendyKR 4/7/2009 12:12:00 PM
I LOVE this stuff. I was going to start a review and so glad other have. This is amazing. There are so many out there that are like over $100 and don't do as much as this. $50 is not bad at all for these results. After a week I noticed results on my laugh lines and the ones that go over my cheek. After 3 weeks in general my face is more taught and all my lines have diminished. You WILL see a difference. ANYONE will. I do not think this is a hit or miss product like some. It is the real deal. I don't mind the smell at all so I gave it 5.

Hair -Unlisted Brand - ManeMaxx DYI Hair Extension System with Tembond
WendyKR 4/2/2009 1:49:00 PM
I think this will be big. Longer wear, virtually undetectable, zero damage, easy, affordable beautiful hair. I read the GL reviews and most were saying the damage was bad from that. Not this stuff. While on the hair forums someone suggested Manemaxx hair extensions with Tembond. She said she had her hair in for 3 months and going strong. they have awesome hair that does not tangle and is silky smooth. I've done clips which I got sick of putting in all the time, and taped wefts. The glue killed my hair. I never thought I'd do strand by strand (which this is) because I never thought of it as a DIY thing. So this is a bonding method for installing hair extensions yourself. OR get someone to do it. But having that option is cool. It is non toxic, non glue, chemical free, no damage what so ever and easy schmeasy to remove. It is a bond that is a wax like and that you take a piece of hair extension, dip it in the melted bond (product is Tembond) and then take that piece and apply it to a few strands of your own hair. To remove you simply bend it and break it and it just falls apart. You dust off what is left on your hair. YOU DO NOT NEED ANY CHEMICALS OR TOOLS TO TAKE THEM OUT. That is where the damage would occur with other methods. So installing is great because if you apply it wrong or in the spot that does not work, you can take it off and reapply in a snap! Since my install I have actually moved around some pieces so I could get the highlighting just the way I want it. Do you know how much damage I did to my hair when having a colorist fix her work? The bond comes in all colors to match your hair and it blends right in with your own. you can hardly see it! Check out the web site and look through all the "articles". What was great was how they compared it to the microlinks and even Great Lengths Keratin bond. Virtually undetectable! Like $278 for the hair and all the tools and product. HAIR INCLUDED in the kit. Great Lengths cost $1200-$2000 to have it done. They charge like $600-$700 just for the hair! Manemaxx hair is so silky and good quality. You CANNOT reuse hair from Great Lengths or any keratin based extensions. You can with tthis. You can get 12 months of re-use and wear from this hair. But if you want to use hair from a company you just love and trust, you can still use this system. Just buy the kit without hair. Really anyone can do this. IF you feel it is too daunting, you can call and I think they can direct you a stylist near you to install them for you. I saw a page with a search engine for that. I guarantee it won't cost over $1000. You can buy their "basic" hair that is Asian but it IS quality and it will not tangle. 4 oz of that hair is only $63 so even if you needed to use an extra 2 oz of hair (not many places allow you to purchase 2 oz, but only full pkg of 4 oz) you can do a full head of hair for UNDER $100. The draw back on Asian hair is that it does not wave easily. It is straight. Its human so you can curl it. You can also get the Regal hair which is wonderful. Even the straight does have some wave after washing. That is what I got. A bit more but nothing like those other places out there and what they charge. AND you can get pre-tipped hair so that you don't have to measure it out and worry about the right amount of bond to apply. That costs more too. I actually measured the hair out myself the day before and dipped each bundle in the bond and saved it for the next day. It took less time and I did not pay more. You have all the stuff to reapply so you can remove and reapply as much as you want without paying for more. I mean I paid $150 an hour to have a salon to move a few pieces around for me. They charge alot to remove them too. That website is so great and informative! Man she did not miss anything. they have a forum for the DIYers to ask questions and get tips about doing this. I'm giving it 4 lipsticks because of the degree of difficulty AT FIRST. It does get easier. If I had this done by a pro, I would give it 5 easily. Every other aspect is good for it. I had help from my teenager. She did most of the back for me because it was tricky and I did not want to take as long. I did do some just to know if I could do it. Get a friend and do each others to make it easier. But they have a before and after page where all were done themselves. I'm a DIYer now! I guess just do a search on it. I don't want to get in trouble by posting links. I'm not with the company, I just like it a lot.

Skincare - Face -Revive - Intensite Creme Lustre
WendyKR 4/2/2009 1:01:00 PM
This is one of the best moisturizing cremes ever. Revive is good for that. I give it 4 stars because of the price. Mark up is insane! Get samples or go to ebay and buy. I just can't handle the mark up on these products. But it did a nice job. this and Moisturizing Renewal are my favs. I alternated with them. I never pay full price though.

Treatments -Revive - ReVive Arrete Booster C
WendyKR 4/2/2009 12:55:00 PM
It is great stuff and the most convenient way to get a vitamin C topical to work. the ONLY other way is to make it yourself and make it every few days because it degrades so quickly. But this is made well because of the force field to stay longer and the bottle prevents any air from getting to it which is a Vitamin C killer. The whole concept is great. But at $300, just too much. I tell everyone though go to ebay. You CAN afford all the Revive line with the prices on ebay. You can also call any Revive Counter at Nieman Markus (Needless Markup) and ask them to mail you some. Or go in the store. Hey you can call a bunch of them and get enough to cover a full size! hehehe. Otherwise make your own.

Treatments -Revive - Intensite Volumizing Serum
WendyKR 4/2/2009 12:51:00 PM
Absolutely overrated! $600 for one ounce is just for the celebs and wealthy. If you are using a product that is this expensive then you THINK it is doing something. That is it. I used samples. You can call any Nieman Marcus and ask for the Revive counter. they are happy to send you a sample. If one store does not have it, call another, even out of state they will. It will fade marks and it feels fabulous. but I want results not feeling good. I had to give it a couple of stars for that. you can get it on ebay for 1/2 the price if you want to spend even that.

Skincare - Face -Revive - Moisturizing Renewal Cream
WendyKR 4/2/2009 12:45:00 PM
I think this is my favorite Revive Product. It is the most rich and moisturizing creme I have ever used. However i give it 3 stars because the price is just too high. There are too many products out there that can do this for a lot less.

Lip Treatments -Revive - Lip and Perioral Renewal Creme
WendyKR 4/2/2009 12:39:00 PM
Its all in the packaging and the name. they add all the french words to Revive products to make them seem more luxurious. I was not impressed with this. I never bought it. Only got samples and thank god. so expensive. It dried my lips out and I did not notice any improvement with lines around my lips. there are so many products that help this now days. Do not spend $200 on this.

Just too expensive for the results. It works OK and it does improve the appearance but for $50 I expected a lot more.

Self Tanners -SUN Laboratories - Ultra Dark Lotion
WendyKR 4/2/2009 11:49:00 AM
This is the only one I use now. I was buying it at Ulta which made it expensive. $30-$45! You can get the big 8 oz pump on ebay for less than $20 with shipping. It says Ultra Dark because after about 3 applications in a row you are ULTRA DARK. Like vacation dark! It is a deep brown color going on which was alarming at first but then you know you won't get the orange look. It even has a green tint to it to cut that orange. I use my hands. Way too hard to blend with gloves. I have an exfoliating scrub for hands that i use afterwards that gets the stain off easily. You must try and apply it at least 2-3 times in a row. You can even shower in between and do it 3 days in a row. Then once or twice a week to maintain. For the ebay price it is affordable. The best thing is even if you don't rub it all in it won't streak. I don't know why, but it won't no matter what you do. I want to try the spray next to make it even easier. 5 stars for this one.

Lip Treatments -City Cosmetics - city lips
WendyKR 4/1/2009 6:45:00 PM
They brought the original formula back!!! They had the advanced one which was also supposed to be more instant and I hated it. too goopy and more expensive. To those who did not like it I say be patient. It is a TREATMENT and it takes up to 30 days to see full results but you will see them. Nothing has ever worked better for me. A BIG tip is to get some Source Naturals Skin Eternal Hyalauronic Acid Tablets 50 mg and take 2 every night and every AM with this. You will see amazing results. I looked like I had injections and I am not one to be that impressed or exagerate. For a limited time city is selling this treatment for $12.50 a jar and that jar is a new thing. It is also equal to TWO tubes so it will last a long time. $12.50 is such a good price for this. So if you were ever to try it, do it now. Even Ebay is selling it for regular price.

Conditioner -Redken - Extreme Conditioner [REFORMULATED]
WendyKR 4/1/2009 12:37:00 PM
I had the same awful results using the shampoo. It takes out all the moisture. It makes damaged hair worse and healthy hair DRY! I know you have to be careful with protein based shampoos but this is ridiculous! I was told to use this on my new hair extensions. I bought low quality hair that was already dry and this really zapped it! I did not realize it though. Later when I bought GOOD hair and used it, it made that wonderful hair dry! thankfully I used Pureology (which I'm sticking with) and it brought it back to life. For one never use protein anything on human hair extensions. I can't believe my extensionist suggested this kind of shampoo for extensions. What was he thinking?

Shampoo -Redken - Clear Moisture Shampoo
WendyKR 4/1/2009 12:31:00 PM
I don't know why salons keep pushing Redken. They over price it for one. None of their products really do much. You can get it in stores now for a decent price but it is no better than say Suave. It left my hair limp and not really that moisturized.

Shampoo -Redken - Extreme Shampoo [REFORMULATED]
WendyKR 4/1/2009 12:28:00 PM
This stuff sucks the moisture out of your hair! You can't even use it sometimes. I know protein based shampoo can be drying if used too much but this did it right from the start! I won't even use it sometimes. Gave it too my husband. He does not care what he uses. Did not want to waste it.

Treatments -Lancome - Resurface-C Microdermabrasion Kit [DISCONTINUED]
WendyKR 4/1/2009 12:19:00 PM
If you have large pores DON'T USE THIS! I made that mistake and had all those little particles stuck in my pores! If you have young tight skin, then fine. It was painful for days afterward. I could not get it out! I did finally figure out a way so if you it happens to you, get those Biore pore strips and put them all over or on the large pore area of your face. they pull those particles right out. I still keep it around and use it to exfoliate my lips and lip line area. Works great for that. $50 I had to find a way to use it...
