Mascara -Jordana - Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara

Thank you MUA peeps. I would've never tried this brand, let alone mascara for $2.99. The smell was a bit strong (it fades) and brush is so-so but this formula works. I don't curl my lashes and this lifts and leaves my thin lashes bold. It really doesn't take much to get the 'extreme' look and it lasts. Easy to remove w/o pulling on lashes. I'll compare it to a higher end mascara I was using that took numerous coats and came off in flakes. TRY THIS!
Picked this up at a discount store for 99 cents in Polished Bronze. I thought if it didn't work out, I'm not out much money. What a pleasant surprise. It is a little shimmery but coupled with the bronze/coppery shade on my hazel eyes, BAM. The big plus is that it's a strong color, stays put all day and nite w/o primer. So many shadows just fade whether I use primer or not. I will find other colors to try that's for sure. I hope it's still around. It's worth a try.
I have had this shampoo for awhile but it wasn't until I made a commitment to use only sulfate- and paraben-free hair products that I started to use this consistently. It is a creamy, but watery consistency that gives a bit of foaming but leaves hair clean, not weighed down. I have used up this bottle and will definitely get another. Great product.
Sunscreen -La Roche Posay - Anthelios 60 Melt-In Sunscreen Milk

I am a first time user of this product since it was never available locally and I was hesitant to order it online because of its price. My dermatologist recommended a higher SPF for summer (I normally wear SPF30) and I was at Walgreens looking for a product I thought they still carried. This was a first-time offering and a coupon was listed with it. It is still expensive but I took the plunge. There is no lingering fragrance but it seems like any fragrance-free lotion; it does not smell like sunscreen. I apply it to both face and body. It seems like it would be greasy but it definitely sinks in. No problems when applying makeup. I really like it because you can't feel it just laying on your skin. I think based on my experience I would repurchase because you can have all the great makeup products under the sun (no pun intended) but if your skins isn't good, the rest doesn't matter. The only reason I would not give it a 5 is that although it is a mineral sunscreen, it's not a more 'natural' product and there are others I want to try first.
Lip Treatments -Neutrogena - Revitalizing lip balm

I just tried this product today in Petal Glow. The feel on my lips was very slick which is a texture I really don't like. I'm also not sure I like the shape (oval vs round). There is a but... The color stays like a stain and the slippery feel fades away leaving a softness. So right now I am on the fence. UPDATE: 8-7-12. I've used this enough that I can say w/o any question I would not buy this again. It's cheaper to get a tinted lip balm with SPF. Just don't like it and brought rating down.
I purchased this based on reviews here. I picked the 200 shade as another fair-medium person did but I thought it was just a bit too dark. Spreading of this product is good with either a flat brush or fingers. I used a stippling brush once and it picked up way too much product. You might be better to use that kind of brush if the product is dabbed on face and then use for spreading. The coverage is light-medium and definitely stays tacky for about 30 minutes. You can pat on a bit of powder to tone down some shine as well. Personally I would still give this product another shot with another shade lighter that I can blend with this one.
Great inexpensive product and more so than Wet n Wild. I chose the color blonde and that is perfect for me vs. light brown. I press a little harder to fill in but the color is true and not too dark. Good purchase.
i purchase two colors in this liner - Hot Chocolate and Coolest Chic. The chocolate is a neutral brown and gives a strong eye. The Coolest Chic is a purple liner that is very flattering to my hazel eyes. It's a softer look. It goes on smoothly but not sure of the staying power yet.
This lip liner is a pencil that needs to be sharpened. The color I chose was #11 In the Nude. It is a very flattering shade, goes on smoothly, matte but creamy; not too drying like other liners. I am blown away by this brand. It's from Germany and so inexpensive. UPDATE: Took the rating down a notch because it doesn't last.
Purchased this is the nude shade. I am a light-medium, cool toned face with freckles. The light seemed too light so chose this based on a swipe on my hand. (yeah I know it's not always a good thing or match for the face but it worked) It has a smooth light consistency so I'll see how it all holds up and update review later.
I've tried two polishes in this brand. The nude glam in cafe ole is a sheer brownish beige for the hands. I really like this because I don't wear any color on my hands except clear. With my toes anything goes. I also have used a color called high spirits which is a muted leaf green. It's a very flattering shade.
I am a convert to this brand. I chose the blonde color and it's probably a bit lighter but the brown seemed too dark. It has a very natural look which I like for weekends. I can always use the the stylist set powders to put on a stronger brow. This brand is definitely competing with NYX.
I agree with gc2011 in just about everything she said about this fragrance. It is soft and subtle which is why I like it. I have changed up my fragrances throughout the years with florals, orientals, modern, citrus et al. This is my new favorite. I too bought the small bottle. I like to use that first and make sure it's what I want to keep w/o making an enormous investment if I don't. So far so good.
Great color for a lip balm. Purchased for $1. Tastes terrible tho. The shape out of the tube is so flat you need to use the edge to apply. I might use a brush to apply but as lip products go, would not repurchase.
NYX honey nectar. First time using the jumbo crayon style. I own the slim lip pencils and like those although a bit hard. This color looked intriguing but I found it didn't suit me. Also the texture and feel of the product on my lips felt a bit slippery and I don;t like that. It almost looked like it was bleeding and I don;t have that with any other product. Disappointing since I like most NYX cosmetics.
