Cleansers -Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser

I regret not using this earlier! My face started breaking out all over when I was 13. It was so oily, so I used really strong cleansers (like Guinot's microbiotic foam thing) containing sodium laureth sulfate that completely stripped my skin of moisture and essential oils. By the time I was 18, I was left with dehydrated, sensitive, and combination skin, a very tedious skin type. I should have started using Cetaphil then, but the label ''Gentle Skin Cleanser'' made me stay away from it; I thought it wouldn't be enough for my oily T-zone. Also, I wasn't exactly confident about the product's capabilities simply because it was an off-the-shelf sort of product. What made me try it was when I noticed this cleanser sitting in my sister-in-law's toilet cabinet; and wouldn't you know it, her skin is flawless! So I decided to risk it and bought one bottle for myself. Am I glad I got it! It's absolutely non-drying, and washes away surface dirt and oil. It doesn't cleanse deep down into the skin, so it does not dry my sensitive skin out. My face has become less oily by midday, because it does not need to compensate for the loss of moisture/oils (simply because there isn't any!). This product does contain sodium laureth sulfate too, which is why I took a lippy off, but apparently it is in a really low proportion so it does not dry your skin out. Edit: After using this cleanser for six months, I can say that I'm still pretty satisfied with it. However, I'd recommend it for morning use only, as it doesn't quite remove dirt, grime and sunblock thoroughly.

Blush -The Body Shop - Lip & Cheek Stain - 01 Rose Pink

This is my very first lip gloss and I absolutely fell in love with it. I don't use it on my cheeks because I've got sensitive skin so it broke me out a little after prolonged usage. But as a lip stain, I'd say it really makes the cut. What you do first is to apply lip balm, then glide the gloss across your upper and lower lip (you need a few glides to even out the color) wait for it to dry, then apply another coat of lip balm on top of it (since the drying of the gloss may dry your lips out). The color looks really healthy, like you've eaten too many cherries or something (in a good way though). Instantly makes you look awake, and a little sophisticated too, in my opinion. Also, I don't know if it's just me, but the top half of my bottom lip absorbs more of the gloss, so it looks redder than the rest of my lips. I think it's because I've got pretty dry lips. But I kinda like the effect. Looks natural and autumn-y. This product is definitely worth a shot.
