Polishes -Quo - Quo by Orly Nail Polish - Twinkle Twinkle
rated 5 of 5

I just purchased my first bottle of Quo nail polish in Twinkle Twinkle. I have been wearing nail polish for years and within the last few years my nails have become rather dry. As a result, my manicure chips easily and I haven't found a product that gives me a week's worth of coverage without having to fix it mid week. Quo is amazing and it is my new "go to" polish and I will be buying other colours now! The shine may not last the week, but my main concern is the longevity of colour without chips and that's what Quo gives me. Try it!!!!!!

BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector for Combination to Oily Skin - Light
rated 2 of 5

I loved the overall concept of a BB cream. I bought it, loved the application, loved the coverage BUT after less than a week, my skin broke out really bad! I haven't experienced break outs like this since puberty so unfortunately I had to ditch this product and will be very hesitant to try any other brands. I am not sure what ingredient(s) are in this cream to cause my skin to break out. I'm sorry my skin reacted so severely.

Polishes -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Pro - Steel Grey
rated 5 of 5

I absolutely love Rimmel nail polish! The application brush is superior to any other brand I've used, besides Lise Watier and unfortunately Lise Watier is quite pricey and the colours seem to come and go quickly by season. Rimmel offers a superior polish, easy to apply, dries fairly quickly and without any bumps even if 2nd coat is applied right after the first coat. I love the Steel Grey shade and it has become my new favourite, almost year round! If you love this colour but want to punch it up a bit, just add another colour to the Steel Grey - I added a little fuschia to it and got an amazing new shade to wear. Thanks Rimmel for giving us a reasonably priced polish, that's easy to apply and comes in great colours anyone can wear!

Treatments -Clinique - Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector
rated 1 of 5

I keep promising myself I won't get sucked in by these "too good to be true" really expensive products. I was always of the mind set, "the more you pay the better the product." Not so in this case. I have used many Clinique products over the years and none of them were truly worth the money but I began to think if I switched to another brand, I'd pay the price by the appearance of my complexion. When I bought Clinique's Dark Spot Corrector, the woman behind the counter gave me a colour chip to keep tabs on the colour of my dark spots. It looks like a paint chip card with about 7 different shades of brown/beige on it. I used the entire bottle of this stuff and low and behold, not a change in colour whatsoever. When will I learn? I know the only way I'll get rid of these brown spots is to have them zapped by a professional. It works but it is expensive and um, no guarantee they won't return down the road. Clinique's basic skin care line works but not these specialty products. Please don't waste your money!!!

BB Cream -Garnier - BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector - Light/Medium
rated 2 of 5

I was extremely pleased with the coverage and overall effect this product provides; however, my skin broke out terribly, worse than anything I ever experienced in puberty!!! As a result, I cannot run the risk of using this product any more. Very disappointed.
