Eyeliner -Clinique - Brush-On Cream Liner in Black Honey
VoR 2/15/2012 4:04:00 AM
Gorgeous product. Smooth application and long-lasting wear. The colour is beautiful and remains true, without fading, throughout the day. I'd buy again although the pot will last for ages and I doubt I'll have to for quite some time. The brush it comes with is pretty useless though.

Lotions/ Creams -Clarins - Hand and Nail Treatment Cream
VoR 2/15/2012 12:56:00 AM
I've used this for years and, despite the slightly old fashioned smell, really love it, it's one of the few creams I've found that leave my hands feeling moisturized but not greasy. However, the price has now significantly increased to the point that I can no longer justify the expense ($53 NZ per 100ml) Consequently I've been forced to find a replacement product. I wouldn't buy this again purely because I think $53 is a ridiculous price to pay for handcream, but I did like it.

Lotions/ Creams -Kiehls - Ultimate Strength Hand Salve
VoR 2/15/2012 12:27:00 AM
Absolutely brilliant! Sinks in easily and doesn't leave my hands greasy, I even like the smell. Kiehl's generous (30ml) sized trial tube is perfect for my handbag too. A winner all round :)

Conditioner -Redken - All Soft Conditioner
VoR 2/13/2012 8:39:00 PM
I have chest length naturally streaked grey hair in pretty good condition. Despite the grey it's not at all wiry or coarse, however, due to it's length I do find that the ends sometimes tend towards dryness so I was keen to try this conditioner. It's not a bad product at all but probably a bit too heavy for my particular hair which is baby fine (although I have lots of it) consequently I find it best to use this on the ends alone and avoid using near the roots, otherwise I run the risk of weighing down my hair too much. It's not a product for every day but a good one for the mix and I'll use it when I think the ends of my hair need an especially moisturising layer, but I probably won't buy it again.

Shampoo -Redken - All Soft Shampoo
VoR 2/13/2012 8:20:00 PM
Not bad at all, though I don't get the lingering smell that others speak of and I'd love to know why the shampoo is sold in 300ml bottles and the matching conditioner in only 250ml - that aside it pretty much does what it says on the bottle. I agree that it's perhaps not an everyday shampoo but it's a great one for the rotation. I've yet to notice the scalp irritation others have mentioned but its early days and I'll update should that occur. In all I'm happy enough with the product but probably wouldn't rush out and buy again at this stage, I'm yet to be convinced that it's anything really special.

Liquid -Clinique - Repairwear Laser Focus All-Smooth Makeup
VoR 2/10/2012 6:47:00 PM
One of the best liquid foundations I have tried to date (and I've tried a few!) Actually Clinique's foundations are generally good for me in colour match terms and I find their staying power to be better than average too. I too find I need to use a powder to set this but the coverage is great and lasts all day. I'd prefer a pump dispenser on the bottle but the price is reasonable enough. I ticked that I would buy this again (because I like it) but suspect that by the time I get to the bottom of this there will be a new formulation somewhere that I'm keen to try, so in truth I'll probably be off trying someone else's new product!

Lipstick -Clinique - Chubby Stick (all shades)
VoR 2/10/2012 6:35:00 PM
I'm not a lipstick lover so these are great for me. I love that they are so easy to use and the fact that they are a crayon gives them a youthful and casual feel. I find them pleasant to wear and non drying to the lips. I have two at the moment but would definitely buy more colours if I found more that suited me.

Lip Gloss -Clinique - Lip Duo in Black Honey
VoR 2/10/2012 6:00:00 PM
I bought this along with some of the other LE Black Honey Products during the Australian release this summer as I'd never tried the lip colour before and thought it would be a good way to try two products pretty much for the price of one. The 'Almost' lip colour is lovely, really sheer and very pretty but the gloss is a bit too sticky for my liking. That said I don't hate it and it is a nice introduction to the colour, it also led me to buy the Black Honey eye shadow quad which is absolutely gorgeous - so it's not all bad!

Awesome product. The only moisturizer that I can use after shaving my legs without causing skin irritation - well worth the slightly higher price. Love it :)

Hair Styling Tools -Goody - Spin Pin
VoR 2/4/2012 7:42:00 PM
I've never been very good at putting up my own hair and have always envied those girls who could seemingly roll a neat chignon whilst simultaneously dressing (perfectly) for a day at the office. Well, these might not turn me into *that* woman (if only!) but they are quick, easy to use and they work really well on my long, fine (but plentiful) hair, allowing me to create the neat or messy bun I desire. I tend to need to use 3 pins (so I had to buy 2 packs) but that might just be because I'm a bit inept.

Masks -Trilogy - Purifying Masque
VoR 2/4/2012
Excellent mask. As other reviews have said, only a really thin, almost transparent layer of this is required so a tube will last a reasonable length of time. This mask brightens my complexion and deals with break outs quickly. I try to use it once a week whilst I'm relaxing in the bath. One useful tip I picked up from an earlier review, if you don't have time for the full mask, just use a little on individual pimples or areas which are threatening to break out and leave on whilst you are in the shower - try it, it will help :) Also, give the tube a good shake before using each time otherwise the first drop out tends to be liquid only.

Conditioner -Trilogy - Smooth Shine Conditioner
VoR 2/3/2012 6:47:00 PM
This conditioner is a big improvement on the matching shampoo in the range which is truly dreadful. That said I still found it hard to rinse and rather heavy for my hair which felt as if it was carrying a lot of residual product on the day I tried it out. Not a purchase I'll be repeating.

Cleansers -Kiehls - Ultra Facial Cleanser
VoR 2/3/2012 6:31:00 PM
I love this cleanser. Only the smallest amount is required for a whole lot of foam and a squeaky clean face! I use this one at night, and with the Clarisonic 3 times a week. It can be a little drying but it's not terribly expensive so allows room in the budget to follow up with a decent moisturizer. I am not the World's most brand / product loyal customer (so many products, so little time!) but would more than likely buy this one again.

Cleansers -Kiehls - Gentle Foaming Facial Cleanser
VoR 2/3/2012 6:20:00 PM
Nice enough cleanser for morning use - a good one to keep in the shower. I agree with others that it would be much improved if it came in a pump dispenser or similar packaging to the Ultra Facial Cleanser (which is my night-time favourite) Personally I do prefer something which foams a bit more for washing my face (and particularly if a product actually sells itself on its foaming abilities) so I won't be repurchasing this one, but I don't hate it and I would certainly recommend it to others.

Powder -Clinique - Almost Powder Makeup SPF 15
VoR 2/3/2012 4:35:00 AM
This is my first ever experience of powder foundation and was purchased solely on the basis of the reviews I read here - I have not been disappointed :) It's a fabulous alternative to my usual liquid foundation (also Clinique) and on days when I don't feel much like blending, powdering and all the other stuff required by liquid base application, this is totally liberating. That said, the finish it gives is easily good enough for a night out and I've been surprised by how flawless my skin can look with just a few strokes of this little miracle worker. The packaging is reasonable, though I do feel the green 'faux marble' look is pretty dated now and not terribly sleek, however, the product inside more than makes up for what the packaging lacks and I'll definitely repurchase.
