Primer/ Corrector -Cover Girl - Simply Ageless Serum Primer

Quite frankly I'd been spoiled. DHC has a primer that makes your skin feel like satin, makes pores appear less visible and using the cover girl primer was a bit of a let down from that. I really did not notice any difference in the appearance of my skin and the feel wasn't much different than my favorite moisturizer.

I've been using this for over a week now, and already I'm seeing great improvement in my skin tone and the wrinkles under my eyes! I have sensitive skin and light adult acne, so I've been dealing with red splotches on my cheeks and chin for years. Once I started on this product, I pretty much abandoned all my other creams (even my StriVectin!). It toned down my redness in a matter of days, and I've stopped getting the big, red bumps on my chin. My skin's never been so soft, smooth, and tamed! I can't wait to see what my face will look like in the recommended 4 weeks (to see real results). It's a little pricey, yes, but think about this: you probably won't need the other products anymore!

Moisturizers -Exuviance - Evening restorative complex

I have always had horrifically sensitive skin and problems with acne - it started when I was 12 and I am now 29. (I put as a kids review to keep my "real name" from showing up!) I go through periods of combination, dry, and oily skin depending on the seasons. I went into my local Ulta store back in December and I was lucky enough to see the NeoStrata (makers of Exuviance) rep in the store. She gave me a consultation and I bought all of her products. I've never done this before but she had me convinced and told me it had a 30 day guarantee. At that point, I felt I had nothing to lose. By the very next day, my skin was improved. It was hydrated, glowing, and looked pretty, even with acne. I stopped using the cream for a few days as the spring approached (usually when my dryness comes back) and almost immediately, the acne came back and the "pretty" quality of my skin disappeared! I used it the next night, and again noticed the same improvement from my first use! Even better, the bottle lasts about six months as it only takes a VERY small amount to cover your whole face. The only con is that it will give your skin a "dewy" appearance... So to some people that may feel too greasy.

BB Cream -Maybelline - Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream

I love this product--it's perfect for quick, light coverage. Lasts long, feels fresh, has the added plus of SPF protection to keep skin young in the sun. The only downer is that there are very few shades, so I had to buy two and mix them. Not a huge deal, but I do recommend trying it since the shades aren't very diverse. I'm Asian so I mixed light/medium and medium to get the right color.

Lips -Palladio - Tinted Lip Balm

I wanted something I could just pull out of my pocket and slather on without thinking about how it looks. This tinted balm is great! I bought it in Brownie, which is a very pretty and natural brown pink. The colors are sheer, so I wouldn't worry about getting a garish shade. It moisturizes very well and stays put for a while.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies

When I can't afford my favorite mascara by Dior.. I run to Ulta and purchase this one! It works great! However, be sure to have a really great eye makup remover to remove, since it likes to stick.

This blush is pure color with no funky or weird undertones. It goes on smooth and even. A very nice choice.

I've been having small breakouts recently. I went into the lush store, and they recommneded this mask to me. It changed my life. Put this on for 5 minutes and was soothed by the minty smell immediately. After I washed my face I was a new woman! The texture is a little chunky, but it's a face mask so that's to be expected. This is a great product for cleansing and refining your face!
