Bronzers -Too Faced - Chocolate Soleil
VivaLaSunshine 1/31/2013 3:38:00 AM
I liked how this looked, the colour came off nicely on my tan skin. BUT, as soon as I started using it, it broke me out! I stopped for a while to see if I was still breaking out (because of other makeup, hormones etc) and I didn't get any new breakouts. Today, I tried it again, and sure enough. I know it's the bronzer because I NEVER break out in these spots (where I contoured with it especially jawbone/around the chin where I've never broken out before). It was a mess. If it doesn't break you out though, it is a nice bronzer for all over or to contour. Great colour and love the smell!

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup with SoftFlex SPF 15 Normal/Dry Skin
VivaLaSunshine 5/24/2012 12:43:00 AM
I have OILY skin, the following was my review for the oily/combo skin Colorstay: I loved this for a while, but even though I have oily skin, this foundation dried my skin out SO BAD. After googling the problem, I found out that it was a problem with quite a few people, and they since have switched over to the normal/dry skin foundation. I bought that one and have been using it ever since. I still have to blot after a couple of hours, but I'd rather blot than have dry flaky foundation skin! If you're having this problem and you have oily skin, give the other formula a try, I like it a lot better, and the color matches perfectly! (weird how they colors don't match up between the 2 lines). Normal/Dry is my best foundation so far! I find that using a stippling brush doesn't give as natural/flawless coverage as using a plain white sponge that is a little damp. Also about the chemical smell complaints, I find that this one does NOT have it, while the oily skin one DOES. (:

Lipstick -MAC - Viva Glam Nicki
VivaLaSunshine 3/23/2012 3:10:00 PM
I'm absolutely in love with this lipstick! I'm darker (naturally tan skin tone of NC45) and it looks amazing. I use a lip balm under it and it lasts a very long time. It's the color I've always searched for and finally found it! I would repurchase if I get low since its limited edition for a year, and mostly because I feel great knowing the entire amount I pay is being donated (: dabbing it on makes a huge difference but I've worn it straight from the tube as well.

Lipstick -Revlon - Color Burst in Carnation 025
VivaLaSunshine 1/6/2012 12:45:00 AM
I love this! I got it for about $2 at CVS with their super sale going on right now, and I'm in love with it (: I really love the color on my tan skin tone, the pigmentation is AMAZING it's a very opaque baby pink color that I think would flatter any skin tone. Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Don't Steal My Thunder
VivaLaSunshine 1/4/2012 7:48:00 PM
I've been a huge fan of WnW eyeshadows for a while now, I absolutely love the trios! However, this is my huge exception. For some reason I bought it at Walmart and it was more expensive, about $4 (I usually get them at Walgreens for about $2). I looked past that though cause it didn't matter much. I was super excited to get a new trio, and that night as soon as I brought it home (it was new years eve) I went straight to using it. Unlike my other trios, this one was not a good texture and did not have any pigmentation at all. Like others have said, the silver (if you can call it that..) was horrible. I would rub my finger over it like 10 times and barely have a hint of gray on my finger. The black was very light and dry compared to the black in other WnW trios like Silent Treatment. The white was chalky and just gross to me. I'm so sad cause I thought I'd love this trio, but I will be returning it tomorrow and getting another one to try out (: If you want a more in depth review and pics check out my new blog: http://ohlovelydear.blogspot.com/ I'm doing a new review every single day of 2012! xo

Mascara -Almay - One Coat Dial Up
VivaLaSunshine 1/3/2012 7:59:00 PM
I love this, I bought it a while ago at Bealls because it was like $4 and I knew it was much more at Walmart and other drugstores.. I didn't know it would become my favorite mascara! I love it, and am almost out. Today I found it at my dollar store and I was so happy, of course I picked it up. It looks so natural, I've used it completely with NO clumps ever, never had a problem of flaking or anything else. I use blackest black, but they also have a black brown color. For everday (I love dramatic eyelashes with neutral makeup) I use it on the 3rd setting of the dial, and it looks great (: no matter how many mascaras I buy, I always come back to this one! Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - Color Icon Trio - Walking on Eggshells
VivaLaSunshine 12/7/2011 9:14:00 PM
I love this trio! As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to have it and I've been using it everyday since. I thought it would be too light since I am more on the tan/brown side, but it looks amazing! I use it in the morning or daytime when I'm on campus for class, and at night for a pretty smokey eye. It's so natural and I'm usually not a shimmer person, but this is still my HG eye look (: I even like it better than "Silent Treatment", what everyone usually recommends first as a WnW trio. Definitely a repurchase! EDIT: If you want a more in depth review and pics/swatches check out my new blog: http://ohlovelydear.blogspot.com/ I'm doing a new review every single day of 2012! xo
