My HG blush!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Benetint. I was a bit skeptical at first because I've tried so many different blushes. I swear Ive tried every cream blush out there and I just dont like them. I find that they make my makeup super cakey and the color never lasts. I normally use powder blushes over my mineral foundation and still I find that it makes my skin cakey and the color never lasts. But with Benetint, I was so happily surprised. The color is SO NATURAL looking! I acutally use it over my primer and before my powder foundation and bronzer. I dont use my fingers to apply it because it can sometimes look streaky. I use a flat foundation brush. I use a little at first and build up the color till it's a little darker than I would wear it. Then I apply a light layer of my powder mineral foundation and the color of the blush comes out perfect. It really does look like a natural flush. My makeup looks perfect because I'm not layering powder blush and powder bronzer over my foundation. Oh and the color LAST FRIGGIN FOREVER! I sometimes forget to wash off my makeup before bed and by the next morning, the only thing left on my face is the gorgeous flushed pink of my benetint. This stuff has staying power like no other. I LOVE it. I have probabbly close to 30 different blushes and since I started using benetint, I have totally put them all away. Definatly my HG cheekk color. I will rebuy this forever. <3

Misc Beauty Tools -Clean & Clear - Oil Absorbing Sheets

You get what you pay for. I used to always buy the cheap $1-2 oil blotting papers with and without powder. They worked ok I guess but I would always have to use like at least 4 sheets. And even then my face was still not really oil free and they would smudge my makeup a bit. I REALLY LOVE the Clean & Clear ones because they work a thousand times better. My face gets pretty oily after a few hours and all I need is just one sheet to blot my entire face. I love the weird plastic like texture because somehow it NEVER affects my makeup. It just takes away all the oil and leaves my face fresh and matte. I can even apply powder, blush bronzer etc after and the colors looks freshly applied and never cakey. These are a HG MUST HAVE for anyone with oily skin. they're not expensive. You get 50 sheets for the price of ONE Starbucks fancy coffee.

Blush -Joe Fresh Style - cheek tint - all colours

Overall this is not a bad product. The price is fantastic. $4 Cdn at Superstore. I bought 2 of them in Red rose and Berry. I like that the color is VERY sheer. The texture is really easy to blend, but I find it a bit too greasy. Also because its super sheer I have to layer it on to get enough color. Then my face looks greasy after half an hour. The color is pretty though. I also have Smashbox's Skin Tint Blush in Bella which is similar to the rose color. I like the Smashbox one better because it is way more pigmented and not greasy at all.

I really like this creme. It has a super smooth texture that really absorbs into your skin. It doesn't leave a greasy film like so many other moisturizers. In the morning my skin feels velvety smooth and hydrated. It also does not cause breakouts. I also like the scent. It's nice and light, kinda floral. The light purple color is also cool.

I seems like the packaging in Canada is quite a bit different for this... I really like this product. I have straight medium thick hair and I find that this spray doesn't weigh my hair down like so many other shine sprays. It's nice and light. Don't expect it to defrizz or smooth out your hair like a serum. It just adds a nice shine to your hair. I use it on both towel dried hair and also as a finishing spray after I use my flat iron. The cheap price rocks too.

I hate this product. I found it to be really greasy. It didn't absorb into my skin at all, no matter how little I used. When I applied makeup, it gave my face a greasy sticky appearance. I do not have sensitive skin and this made my skin sting. The little bit that I had around my eyes made my eyes water and sting until I washed it off. Even then my eyes were still watering for half an hour.

Hair -Revlon - Outrageous Shampoo & Conditioner

I haven't used this since high school, and I used to love it. Yesterday I was at Wal-Mat and found the shampoo and conditioner for only $1.97 each. How could I turn that down? I bought the shampoo for normal hair, and the conditioner for dry color treated hair. I used it today and LOVE it. The shampoo lathered nicely and didn't over dry out my hair, and the conditioner left my hair perfectly clean and silky. When my bf came home from work, he walked into the house and immediatly said that 'something smells great'. Some people might find the scent too overpowering, but I love it. If you use Outrageous, be prepared for random people telling you how nice your hair smells.

Blush -Smashbox - O-Glow

I generally like this product. It's fast and convenient, and the ultra sheer pink color is pretty decent. I find that I will have to layer it about 3 times with transluscent powder in order for the color to last. I also found that the more I blended the color, the more it faded into almost no color at all. Weird. But overall, this blush is pretty much fool proof. I found that it is the perfect additional pop of color over my Smashbox Skin Tint blush in Bella (after the original Bella blush has faded a bit over the course of the day). Hmmm.. the price is kinda high. But I'd still buy it. I know that you can find similar clear gel blushes for like half the price by brands like Almay or something, but I've never tried the other brands so I can not compare the differences.

Bronzers -Bonne Bell - Gel Bronze

THIS SELF TANNER ROCKS! It's cheap cheap cheap! But it provides such a sheer natural glow! Way better than powder bronzers! I have used this for almost 6-7 years and I will always have a tube handy. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Moisturizers -Clean & Clear - Shine Control Moisturizer

I actually like this product. I'm not too convinced that it controls shine for more than 2 or 3 hours, but thats like any other moisturizer I use. What I like about it is: The price Moisturizers well Light texture, Absorbes quickly Silky feel A little goes a long way. The easy use pump dispenser I might buy this agian but honestly I probabbly won't. I was in a pinch since I lost my other moisturizer somewhere, and had about $15 to buy another one ASAP at like 4am in the morning at the only drugstore open in Vancouver.

Self Tanners -Jergens - natural glow express medim/tan

Am I the only person that has used this once and then turned about 4 shades darker but with an unmistakable orange tan?? PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A GRADUAL TANNER!!! After one application, I woke up in the morning and realized that I was really REALLY dark already. The color came out deep orangy brown! My palms were dark orange, even though I washed them thouroughly after appying. I'm asian with medium tone skin and I can usually tan until I'm dark brown.I think that people should seriously buy the color that suits their natural skin tone. I just re-applied since the bottle says that I have to do this for 3 days straight, and I'm scared about my final tan color. I've used almost every brand or self tanner available, and I always go for the deepest shade, but I think this tanner is the darkest even only one day! A little goes a long way and it will streak if not rubbed in well.

Self Tanners -Neutrogena - Sun Fresh

This product is Ok.... It dries really FAST,. The foam is very easy to apply and it doesn't streak. It gives a gradual tan and is very buildable. I use the Medium/Deep formula and it gives me subtle color after one application. I would suggest to anyone to use the Medium/Deep, even if you are very fair because the color is so subtle. I really like that it's clear so it can't stain my clothing, or bed sheets.

Powder -Revlon - ColorStay Mineral Foundation

I actually really like the product, but I agree with other reviewers when they say that the packaging sucks. The little swivel pop up brush included is really cheap and lousy. I have my own Kubuki brush from MAC and use that instead. The color is pretty bang on, and lasts over 12 hours. It never looks cakey, and it seems to stay on my face until I wash it off. I can't use normal liquid foundations b/c ALL of them feel like I'm wearing a mask on my face.

Self Tanners -Sally Hansen - Airbrush Legs Deep Glow

THIS STUFF ROCKS! After reading the great reviews off this site, I went and bought 2 bottles of the Deep Dark color. I was going to a BBQ party, then onto a boat party. So, I read the directions on the bottle, and remembered the advice from this website. I took a shower, and EXFOLIATED like crazy. Then I put on my BODY SHOP Coconut butter all over my body, and waited 10 minutes for it to absorb. Then, as I was butt naked, I shook the bottle of Airbrush legs Deep Glow, sprayed a lot of it into my hand, and then proceeded to quicky rub it into my arm.... then another arm... neck... chest. I made sure to only do a small part of my body each time. It took about 10-15 minutes to cover my whole body (except face). I ended up letting the stuff dry for about 20-25 minutes. Then I actually re-applied it on my armes, chest and legs. WOOHOO. I guess I ended up with a kick ass tan because I had so many compliments the entire night. I had the best looking tan compared to everyone else. No one had a clue that it was fake. Ha, when I got home at like 4AM in the morning, I was still just as tanned as when I left!! The stuff is WATERPROOF I swear, even though it says it's "water-resistant". But I went to bed without showering and woke up with brown swears an my duvet:(. My advice is to take a shower and scrub that tan off before going to bed cuz it will probabblly end up coming off in your sleep for some reason. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STUFF TO ANYONE THAT WANTS AN INSTANT DEEP TAN THATS ALMOST WATERPROOF!

Bronzers -Rimmel - Natural Bronzer- 21 Sun Light

I like this matte bronzer. I hate the super shimmery fake looking bronzers. This bronzer gives me a very natural looking glow thats buildable. I like the face that it's a bit light and takes quite a bit of product to achieve the right shade of bronze goddess. I have so many other crappy bronzers in my makeup drawer because they end up making you look like a clown. Anyway, I like this and highly recommend it to especially someone who is naturally pale. My pale friend uses it also and she LOVES it.
