Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Exotic Coconut

The only scent I bought in the semi-annual sale at BBW. Lovely scent, burns the heck out of my skin right after a shower though. Looks like others have been having issues too. The shower gel is OK though on my skin.
A beautiful sheer browned red-plum lip gloss with a tiny hint of shimmer. Buildable coverage. I was looking for something lighter to wear to work, that could go with my usual brown liner/neutral eyes. This is perfect! I will never be able to pull off a traditional nude lip, I'm too fair skinned and my dark coloring can stand to use bolder colors. This product is my nude lip compromise so to speak--perfect for day wear and office-neutral. I went with LM because I think they are a classy brand with beautiful colors. It wears evenly and has a slight scent, but it's not too overwhelming.

Really a 3.5 for me, which I rounded down. I found a small little sampler of this at Burlington, and was determined to try it. I don't see myself wearing it often, it's heavier than what I thought. Drydown is nice, surprisingly doesn't last very long on my skin. I don't get much vanilla, heavy patch and bergamont stand out. Nice for a "mature", cultivated scent. It brings to mind a scent someone with a fur coat, beautiful salon-quality hair, red lips, and a slight European accent would be wearing. Very much an Oriental. Not really for me, but nice to have around in my collection for variety.
Lovely serum, ultimately broke me out in those dreaded little white bumps along my forehead. It smells nutty to me, not the most pleasant of scents but not overpowering. I wanted to try this out because of the nice price, no added synthetic fragrances, and fairly minimal ingredients. I'm glad I just got the sample, I do think it's fantastic that SN offers samples on so many of their products. I wish more companies did that! Less waste if it doesn't work. I've been mixing it with my body lotion, to use it up.

Single best lip balm that I have tried, and I've tried many. For years I have been using Weleda Everon, which I still love, but this works better in getting baby-soft lips. It's slightly gritty, the only downside, but quickly warms on my lips and smooths out. It works just as well as my beloved Aquaphor as a night treatment. I'm so happy I stumbled on this one! I bought the Strawberry flavor.
I first smelled this in the fall, in the Michigan woods, so my scent impression will always bring me back to woodsy, autumnal colors. The scent itself is not actually heavy woods or cedar though, it's a strange mixture of green and plummy notes that dries down to the slightly dry-sweet sake. It's warmth and the kind of scent you have to lean in and get a closer whiff of. It's very unique and I can't compare it to anything else. It's not sugary-sweet, girly, feminine, or pink. I doubt any man would tell me I'm sexy or alluring with this; it's not that kind of scent. It's evocative and compelling to me, though. I don't own anything else quite like it.
Cleansers -The Body Shop - Seaweed Purifying Facial Cleanser

I have no idea what prompted me to buy this, but it made me break out and the fragrance (light as it is) stung around my mouth. I think it's the linalool my skin didn't like. Sensitive-skinned people, I would steer clear. I examined each and every cleanser in their store and I couldn't find any product that DIDN'T have my triggers (shea butter, excess oils and extracts, and coconut derived ingredients). Those of you with better skin than I might have better luck. Plus the saleslady was a boo about the return, but that isn't influencing my review. It just makes me not want to shop there for any other products, despite their nice sales and easy availability.
A beautiful, long-lasting scent on my skin. I'm on my second bottle, which says a lot for me. A little musky, yet very feminine. I adore anything pink, and love the bottle.
My skin is oily and acne-prone, yet sensitive to fragrance and any form of coconut. This leaves many "natural" products out. I love grapeseed oil as a pre-cleanse in the AM and PM, as it is the number one reason my skin produces less oil and looks almost normal/balanced. I used to have oil slicks around my nose and cheeks, and it looks so much better now. I also use this on my chest for clogged pores, then rinse with olive oil soap.
EDIT: I still enjoy this, but it can be headache-inducing. It's so dang sweet, it cloys sometimes. I think I'm torn between loving and hating this one! This is sweet, but I love it, which is surprising as I'm usually more into heavy musks. It's light and pleasant, very nice for the colder months. It's very easy to over-apply I find, as it has strong sillage. I think of french vanilla ice cream and fluffy pink cotton candy when I smell this, and it just misses the teenage vibe with the sandalwood notes. Quietly classy and easy to wear.
Loose Powders -Silk Naturals - Date Bait Perfecting Powder

I'm planning a full size purchase of this one, it's gorgeous! A lovely bronzy-pink powder that I wear as a blush or as an all-over glow. My skin is so pale, I look clownish with many blushes. This is perfect because it makes me look more alive and it's really hard to overdo.
I like this deodorant, and I'm surprised it works so well for me since it doesn't have any of the typical cornstarch, baking soda, or coconut oil that most natural deos seem to have. The scent is strong, the only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars. I like roses, but just not that much. I spray two shots under each underarm after showering and kind of windmill my arms around to spread it around and dry off. Yeah, it's odd but it works! No stale sweat smell that I used to get with traditional deodorants at the end of the day. My clothes smell like roses, even after a long day. It works best when I'm not wearing synthetic fabrics (cotton or wool or any other natural fabrics seem to work), otherwise that's the only time I notice it can't hold up. For those days when I wear tight/synthetic clothing, I switch to Dove. Also, I shave at night and don't shave very often in the winter, so not sure how this might potentially sting on freshly shaven underarms.

I use this on my bikini area to prevent in-growns, which I'm very prone to. I have super hair follicules or something. Anyway, it's soothing and does the job well. Not a very pleasant scent, but it seems to fade quickly. Makes my inner thigh area REALLY soft. I will re-purchase when I run out, I think there are $3 off coupons at the company's website last time I checked.
Lip Gloss -Silk Naturals - Birthday Suit lip gloss

I wanted to love this so much, and had eyed it for about a year before putting in an order. Firstly, I like natural cosmetics IF they work better for me than stuff like, say, MAC. However, the scent of waxy gloss is awful, I'm slightly picky about scents and hate this one. It reminds me of Burt's Bees lip shimmers, which I also disliked the scent of. It's not scent per se, it's whatever product smells like that, that gets used in the ingredients list. Also, the color itself is too dark and brownish for my coloring. I need a bit more pink to my nudes, as I'm quite fair but with dark eyes/hair. Finally, it dries out my lips too much after one day of wear. Bummer. The price was nice though, so it's not too much of a loss. I won't be trying any more shades, I'm glad I just bought one.
Shampoo -TRESemme - Naturals Radiant Volume Shampoo

A very nicely scented shampoo, not too harsh on my fine, curly hair. The huge bottle is a good value, it's lasting me ages and I wash my hair pretty frequently. I don't get build-up or weighted down with this.
