Hmm, weird. I have been using the Sally Hansen Lip Inflation Extreme for a while now and I absolutely love it. I use the tinted version, and recently I purchased a red lipstick that had an odd consistency, so I thought I'd grab a clear lipgloss to wear over it, and went with this one. I would've purchased the Extreme version, but the store I stopped at was out, and I figured there couldn't be much difference other than the fact that this tube is shorter. For the record, the gloss technically works great, it has a good consistency, gets tingly to plump lips, and smells nice. However, it is THE WORST TASTING lipgloss I have ever used in my life. I would never want to have this on my lips if there was a chance I might kiss somebody or have a meal, the taste is just awful. For this reason, I wouldn't purchase it again, and I don't even know if I'll bother using any more of the tube I already purchased. Stick to the Lip Inflation Extreme.
Self Tanners -L'Oreal - Sublime Bronze Self Tanning Towelettes in Medium

First, let me admit that I have only just applied this 15 minutes ago, so I have no idea how the tan is going to turn out. I just have to add really quick that this is one of THE STRONGEST SMELLING tanners I ever tried. The smell is so powerful that it's already giving me a headache and even making me nauseous. Even if this gives me the best looking legs in the world, there's no way I would sit through this smell again. **Update: I took this down to an overall rating of 1 because after developing for 24 hours, this tanner looks awful. It's quite orange, and VERY streaky, the streakiest I've ever experienced. Also, after thoroughly washing my legs today, I swear I can still smell it. That smell is just killer. And now I'll have to go for several days wearing long pants to hide the stripes it gave me. Definitely avoid this one.
I am so in love with these little jewels! I've purchased three so far, and each of them looks absolutely fabulous with my skin color. They look extremely natural, feel dreamy, smell divine, and are inexpensive. Love it!
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Yellow Buster Nail Bright

This stuff is AMAZING! It really does work! I had almost no faith that it would really work, but I figured I'd try it anyway since I was desperate. I keep my nails long, and even though now and then one breaks and has to re-grow, generally I have to trim them. I paint my nails a lot, and as a result, they're not the whitest nails in the world. My nails weren't severely yellowed, but they were discolored enough that I felt self-conscious going without polish. I tried all the usual tips: baking soda, peroxide, lemons, etc. and none of it helped. When an Ulta opened in my area last month, I saw this, and figured that since it was something I hadn't tried, I should give it a go. It was only $6.99 I think, so I was willing to try, even if it was useless. I was so pleasantly surprised to see a positive result. At first, I almost felt like my nails looked MORE yellow with this on, but I think it was just in my mind. Because of that, I spent the first week wearing it as a basecoat under nail colors. Then last week I wore just this polish, two coats. Every few days I would take it off then re-apply two coats. Just yesterday I realized what a difference it really has made, in just three weeks! Yesterday and today I wore cream-colored arm warmers, and my nails, for once, DON'T look yellow next to them! In the sunlight, they look quite white, I guess because of the UV properties adding a purplish tint. In false light, they look only ever-so-slightly off white, so I'm thrilled. I'll definitely keep using this, and can't wait to recommend it to others! Give it a try!
Lotions/ Creams -Unlisted Brand - Skin Milk Body Lotion

I'm surprised by the negative reviews on here, for me this lotion is fabulous. It soaks in quickly, smells so soft and milky (and not strong, which is a plus for me. I get perfume headaches easily). If you're looking for a non-greasy lotion, I think Skin Milk is perfect.
I have this polish in Lava, and while it is a lovely polish, it's not as impressive as it looks in the bottle and in ads. It looks very two-tone in the pictures and in the bottle, like a holographic red and gold. On my nails, it just looks like one color, a sort of metallic coral tone. Every now and then out in the sun I can see a hint of the gold shine, but it's definitely not worth the price. Disappointed. Also, by the second day it had already worn off at the edges of my nails completely, and I'm not hard on my nails at all. Maybe if I was rich I'd think it was ok, but for now, for the price, I'd stay away from these.
Lip Treatments -Blistex - Moisture Melt Lip Protectant
VersaillesVixen 11/28/2012 11:56:00 AM
This is the best lip balm I've tried in ages! I absolutely love it! It actually moisturizes your lips, instead of just glossing them or coating them with something waxy that doesn't sink in. I've already purchased a second tube to keep in my desk at work because I just love it that much. The price is unbeatable, the scent and flavor are just right, and it even contains SPF. I recently had a nasty cold and went through several nights where my nose was so stuffed up I was mouth-breathing all night (LOL, sorry) and this stuff kept my lips from getting chapped at all. Total HG!
Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Baby Lips lip balm in Pink Punch
VersaillesVixen 10/15/2012 10:02:00 AM
Feels nice, smells nice, but wow, the color is just awful on me. I have very pale skin and was expecting this to be much more translucent than it turned out. The color is quite opaque for a balm, and very blue-based bubblegum pink. Like one of the other reviewers said, one swipe made me look like Niki Minaj or Lady Gaga. Which would be cool if I were a rockstar, I suppose, but I was getting ready to go grocery shopping. I can't imagine this color on anyone but Barbie.
Polishes -Unlisted Brand - Hand and Nail Harmony Gelish Gel Polish
VersaillesVixen 10/9/2012 10:05:00 AM
I've only ever tried SensatioNail and Gelish brand gel polish, so I might not be a connoisseur, but that said, I absolutely love Gelish. Since it's about $15 per bottle at my local Sally's, it isn't exactly cheap, but I save money in a couple ways. First, doing it myself instead of going to a salon is the major saver. But also, I've found that I can use the Gelish colors with the SensatioNail line and get perfect results. I use SensatioNail prep, base, topcoat, and LED light, and the Gelish for the actual gel polish, and it comes out wonderful. Also, using the LED light goes much faster than the UV lamp. Will definitely continue using and repurchasing Gelish!
This stuff is just plain fantastic. I can do a gel polish treatment by myself at home in no time and it's super cheap. Wish there were more colors available, but I'm still happy with what there is.
First, let me just say that I LOVE THIS CREAM! It is rare for me to find a night cream that I like enough to (a) Use the entire container, and (b) Purchase another immediately after running out. I'm on my 2nd jar right now, and although the name has changed a bit, this stuff is still a godsend for me. It's moisturizing enough to help my super-dry combination skin, but light enough that I use it both morning and night. Aside from the moisturizing aspects though, what I really love most about this product is that it somehow really does give a lifted appearance. After three months using it on my chin and neck, I can see a major difference on the days I don't use it. When I use it, somehow my neck and chin seems tighter and firmer, which is a miracle to me. The scent is pleasant and clean smelling. I have gotten the product directly in my eyes by accident before and it didn't sting or affect them at all, which I love. Basically, it's exactly what I was hoping for. Will always repurchase as long as the formula is the same. My only wish is that it were in a pump or tube instead of a jar, but that's minor. Give it a try!
I bought this gloss in the 'Bare' shade a little over a week ago, and I am completely in love. In my opinion, this is the best gloss I've ever tried. It has the perfect consistency, not too sticky, not too slick. The smell is wonderful, like warm wintry spices, but there is no flavor tempting me to lick it all off. And best of all, it really does seem to plump my lips. It's not overly tingly, so at first I thought that meant it wasn't going to work. Works great though. I'm sure I'll be purchasing the pink hue sometime soon to try out too, but I just ADORE the shade I bought-- it's perfectly nude and natural. I also really like that it's a creme color, not sparkly or pearly. I paid $8 at CVS, but I would pay more if I had to. Love it! HG lipgloss!
I was a sucker for the packaging and bought this when it was on sale for $5 today. The color I chose was Naturally Nude, which is not nude at all unfortunately. It's rather rosey, and also much more pearly than I expected, so a bit of a disappointment. Like with the regular line of Colour Riche lipsticks, it smells like an old lady. Feels a little bit grainy on. I guess I'd buy again in a different colour sometime, but I'm not thrilled.
Moisturizers -RoC - Complete Lift Daily Moisturizer SPF 30
VersaillesVixen 5/30/2012 12:26:00 PM
First off-- I'm assuming this is the same product, because the bottle looks EXACTLY the same, except now the name is "Multi Correxion Lift: Anti Gravity Daily Moisturizer." Does anyone know if this is correct? Anyway, this lotion feels wonderful, and does seem to have a bit of a toning result, but I just can't use it because it stings my eyes every time. I know that sunscreens tend to do this anyway, so I'm always careful when applying. It never fails though, at some point in the day, it gets into my eye(s) and when it does, I'm in for AT LEAST 30 minutes of stinging and watering in my eye, if not longer. I've tried soooo many SPF-containing facial lotions, and I just can't seem to find any that don't bother my eyes, no matter how careful I am. However, I will say that the night cream version of this is a total dream, and I adore it, but it's too sticky for day-wear.
Polishes -Sally Hansen - Diamond Strength 3k or More!
VersaillesVixen 5/24/2012 10:42:00 PM
As the other reviewers have said, my only gripe with this polish is the texture. It is a GORGEOUS color, a kind of sparkly nude. However, the texture is just gross, SO gritty. I don't have time for layers of clear topcoat, so I'm bummed about how my nails feel now. Oh well.
