Wow! This has been the best volumizing mascara I've tried so far. I guess I will see for sure in a few days when my engagement pictures arrive. I applied 3 coats for the pictures and I felt like I had beautiful long and thick lashes. One coat doesn't do too much, but 2 coats and you start to see the volume. And 3 coats, your lashes might start clumping together, but I just wiggle the brush back and forth as I apply to separate them. Also, it seemed to add length, which was a bonus! My lashes touched my eyebrows. But the best part, is that my lashes didn't feel stiff and hard. They still felt soft and flexible. It held all day, and even though I used the waterproof kind, a little rain made them lose some hold. But not enough to upset me. My lashes still looked fab. Definitely recommend trying this out.
Definitely a cakey product. I felt like I was wearing a mask. The coverage seemed very heavy for what I need. The bottle is cute and you only need a tiny amount, but none of the colors were for me. I had a 7 and it still seemed too light when applied. I had to use bronzer over it. Good thing I could return it to Sephora and get a full refund. On to the next foundation!
Polishes -Sally Hansen - Salon Effects in Wishful Pinking

I love this color! My sister said it looks great with my skin tone. I live by the beach so I'm pretty tan and I must say, the color does really pop and complement my skin. She came to visit me for a week and was wearing the Laced Up version of the Salon Effects. We were at the beach every day for a week straight and her nails still looked perfect before she left. Now I'll be using these instead of regular polish if I can get the same lasting effect. I hate how quickly my manicures chip, especially working as a waitress and constantly washing my hands. The patterned ones are cute, but I think they look nicer on short nails. It took me about 45 minutes to apply, but it was my first time using them. I love how it comes with a mini nail file, buffer, and cuticle stick. I highly recommend Salon Effects! I hope they come out with a lot more colors and patterns.
HG lip gloss. I only wear gloss or balm on my lips, but I MUST have some on at all times. The taste and smell of this product is phenomenal if you like lemons. I only switch to C.O tinted mentha lip glosses if I want a bit of color to go out. I have about 3 tubes of this for my car, purse, and work, and also a couple tubes of the lemon lip balm on my nightstand and makeup bag. I will always have these in stock and have a backup supply b/c that's how much I love them! Kinda pricey, but I get them at BBW and they almost always have some sort of lip gloss sale. It's soft and buttery and smooth. yum!
LOVE the taste and smell of this product. Those are the only things I look for in lip products. I absolutely love lemon scented products and the fact that is tastes just as good makes it my HG lip product. It's lightweight, sheer, and soft. The only cons are that the stick of balm does eventually lean or break b/c it's so soft, but I don't care b/c it's a great product! A little pricey, but BBW usually has a buy 2 get one free deal with their lip stuff.
I usually always choose the up&up brand if it's available in place of something I already use. I am never disappointed. I like the smell of these wipes and they leave my skin silky smooth afterwards. It takes awhile to remove my eye makeup, though and I still have to use my eye makeup remover for my mascara b/c the wipes aren't very effective on it. I just discovered the Equate walmart brand of these wipes and like them a little better. I think the texture of those towelettes helps wipe off more makeup. I only use wipes when I'm too tired to wash my face.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Naturals Cleanser + Makeup Remover

As with a lot of the items I try, I used my sister's and fell in love with it so bought my own. First off, I like the smell of this cleanser. It's kind of a sweet fruity smell. Second, I like how the pump locks. At first, I was pissed b/c I could not figure out how to unlock it and had to google it. There's a small ring at the base of the pump that has to be held in place while you turn the shaft of the pump. It's kinda tricky, but I like it now. Anyway, it does not dry, and it only stings if I have a blemish that I was messing with. I take that as a sign that it is disinfecting it. No other cleanser has done that. It is not drying, does not break me out or irritate my skin at all. The ultimate test is when I clean the foundation off my skunk brush with it. If the bristles turn white again, then I know it's cleaning all that makeup off my face, too. I've already bought a second bottle and it is now my HG cleanser.
I did careful research before buying this product. I read over the instructions given on these reviews twice before trying it. I have only done my underams so far, but I am amazed! I bought the Brazilian kit and used all the products in it as directed. I applied the wax and let it cool for about 5-10 seconds. Then I grabbed an edge, held my skin taut and pulled it down quickly, I was in shock that all the hair came out. I just stood there staring at it. It left a few hairs, but I just applied wax over those tiny areas to get the rest. I did all this about 8 hours ago and my underarms are a bit sore, but I forgot to take tylenol and wasn't worried about my pits hurting, anyway. When I go to do my bikini line, I will definitely be buying the numbing spray and taking tylenol. This is an awesome product and I'm sure it will work just as well on my bikini line as that's what it's really for. I recommend this for any ladies out there who prefer to DIY, like me and will take the time to read directions and advice thoroughly. It's worth it....my pits are silky smooth in a way that can never be achieved with shaving....
Meh. I was using the Mach 3, but I have the dark armpit syndrome so I thought that razor was being too harsh on my skin. I switched to a lady razor that I kept hearing raves about. It's nice, but it's not a very close shave. When I was using Mach 3, I could get away with shaving maybe every 2-3 days. But with the Venus Breeze, I never feel completely hairless. Especially under my arms, I can still feel the hairs poking out. I think I am going to try out an epilator. I hear it gets rid of the darkness and roughness under the arms. Same thing goes for my legs, I can sometimes still see hair after I shave an area. Lame sauce.....
Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Oil Free Moisture - SPF 15

I friggin' love the pump on this thing. It's not only sanitary, but it's so cute and it locks. I first used my sister's Neutrogena for combination skin when I slept over and I loved it. I like to protect with spf, though so I bought this one. I must say the only drawback is the smell. I really don't like the smell of spf moisturizers. And most of the time the spf part burns my face. I don't notice any breakouts or any more greasiness than usual. It just soothes my dry face as it should. UPDATE: Target's Up&Up brand is available for this product and I now use that with the same results. It also has a BONUS cap on the locking pump for travel. I love Up&UP!!
This is definitely not heavy enough for undereye circles. But as one reviewer said, I use this under my normal concealer. I use Stila stick foundation as concealer and it always went on a little rough and went into the lines under my eyes. But it has excellent coverage so I keep using it. Pairing it with the Garnier roller makes it sooo smooth even at the end of the day. I love it. Smooth is what I aimed for and I just kept trying to add moisture instead. It also helps me blend my concealer better. I love it. I took off one lip just because I can't use it on it's own. I will definitely buy this again, though. Works beautifully on red zits as well.
This cleanser definitely cleans off all my makeup. But don't let the word "foaming" fool you. It is not foam out of the pump. Even when you lather it, foam is lacking. It totally dries out my face and leaves bumps everywhere that itch. I will not be using this again.
Eye Shadow -BeneFit Cosmetics - Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner-BIRTHDAY SUIT
Vanessa_poc 12/8/2009 3:57:00 PM
LOVE IT!! I just wanted a shadow to have a neutral look. And I like creams that you can just swipe on and go, when you're not in the mood to be an artist with your makeup. This turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. The formula is sooo creamy and smooth. The color is nude with shimmer in it which is beautiful! I just swipe it on, smudge on a little liner and I feel so pretty and like I hardly have makeup on. Does not crease when used with my TFSI. A bit too pricey, though. Almost $20! Luckily I got 20% off that day, but ouch! Lovely shadow
This really lifts my lashes. As for volume, not so much. My lashes still look puny, but now they just have stiff mascara on them, too. They don't look very thick at all. But I do love the lift of this one. I'm gonna try a different kind for volume when I run out. If any ladies out there have stick straight lashes, I found that curling them, then applying WATERPROOF mascara will keep and hold your curl after you use a curler. If I don't use waterproof, then my lashes just go back to aiming down.
My undereyes look a little more red than dark after using this product. It is easier to cover red, so i guess that's a plus. I still have dark circles. The cream is very moisturizing and non-irritating. I like the tube and easy to open cap. It helps my concealer go on smoother, but since I see very little change, I will probably try something else when I run out of this.
