Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Pink Deluxe Oval Shadow Brush

This brush is very compact and soft. I have used it for blending and mineral shadows with really nice results. The brush is, however, a bit large, so if you have smaller eyes, this thing is going to be HUGE! I've washed it several times, and so far, no shed. For the price, it's pretty darn good! I didn't notice any odor (I guess some of CC's brushes are stanky).
Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Synthetic Wide Buffer Brush

First, I wanna say that I have, up to this point, had absolutely crappy luck with MM and applying it....soo, I bought this brush and WOW! I can actually use a MM and this brush applies it wonderfully. The brush is very soft and compact. Some reviews I' ve seen say that it's smelly, but I didn't notice any strong odor, and a normal brush washing took the little odor there was out. The brush applies the foundation evenly, and buffs out any oops spots well. I do still need to use a foundation brush for more precise application-needed areas, but I'm very impressed with this brush!

I saw some reviews on YouTube, so I thought I'd give it a try. I was not disappointed! I've used Smashbox, and I think this stuff is WAY better! It blends smoothly, and my makeup lasts a long time. I haven't had any problems w/breakouts or irritation from this. I'd say for the price and the end result, this stuff is pretty good. A little goes a very long way, and I think it works best if you put it on and let it set for a couple of minutes.
Misc Beauty Tools -E.L.F. - Mechanical Eyelash Curler

This is a great curler. My eyelashes are a little difficult to curl, but I had no prob with this. I can sqeeze pretty hard without getting a dreaded straight up eyelash (I don't recommend that look for anyone)! The best part is.....IT'S CHEAP!! I mean, who wouldn't risk a buck!
Makeup Brushes -Unlisted Brand - Loew-Cornell Maxine's Mop 3/8 inch brush

These brushes are really good! I bought some after watching EnKore on Youtube, and so far, I've really liked these brushes! I haven't noticed any shedding (even with washing). Head on down to Michael's this week.... all the Loew-Cornell brushes are 40% off!
I have used this for quite a while, and I've loved it....until my new bottle. I don't know if they changed the formula or what, but it SUCKS now! I like med/full coverage, and I used to only need a VERY small amount to cover my face. My skin is combo, and I need long lasting makeup. Now, however, the love is gone! This stuff is now very oily, and takes quite a bit to get the coverage I used to get. Also, this stuff used to last a full 16 hours for me....not so anymore! I'm lucky to get 8 hours with touch ups! WTH L'Oreal! If it ain't broke, don't fix it! If you need med coverage, this will probably work for you, but don't expect it to last boo-hoo :(

First, can I just say there needs to be a support group for folks who are traumatized by bad coloring...kinda like friends don't let friends color hair impulsively! I have been coloring my hair for years....I can't even remember when I last had "natural" colored hair--but I remember it being a mousy brown. I usually dye my hair light/golden brown, but for some reason, I decided to go a medium reddish brown....well, it was a really pretty color, but pretty ugly on me. It was an INTENSE medium/dark red brown...kinda like Irish Lassie goes Goth. So, after reading the reviews, I tried OOPS. All I can say is WOW!!! I was pretty dang happy my hair didn't fall out, and the color was gone. My color now is light, light brown, and it's ready to be tortured (colored) again. The smell was strong (some people said it smelled like perm...it kinda does, but WAY stronger--and, as a child of the 80's, I've had my share of perms!) I have asthma, and even with the vents wide open, the smell was enough to have me reaching for my inhaler. So, make sure you've got a lot of windows open or excellent ventilation....but make sure the room isn't cold (per the instructions--cooler temps affect the amount of time needed for results). I would definitely use this again..but hopefully, I won't need to........
