Shampoo -Klorane - Strengthening shampoo with quinine and B vitamins

Great shampoo. My hair has been shedding quite a lot lately due to stress and this made it look and feel "stonger/thicker". Very impressed with the Klorane line in general. Will re purchase.

Blush -MAC - Rosy Outlook

I adore the colour, a beautiful and sweet pink, my favourite pink (I'm always on the lookout for the perfect pink). It gives me a soft look and I can't go wrong even if I apply heavily. However, it is chalky and I've hit pan after only 2 months of wearing this daily- a blush usually lasts me years!

Foundations -Max Factor - Ageless Elixir 2 in 1 Foundation

I was on my way to buy YSL Teint Resist (my best friend had just bought it and it looked fantastic) and I had a sample of this in beige and quickly put it on as I had no foundation before leaving to go. I was sold! I immediately changed my mind without even checking out YSL's and bought this asap. I didn't even need powder to set it as it gave me a semi matte smooth finish which looked sooooo natural. Absolutely flawless foundation! Prior to this I was using Chanels click pen concealer as concealer and foundation but at 40 euros and lasting just a week, errr no.

At first spritz I didn't like it, then, wow, love. I'm no good at describing scents and I'm quite picky with them, but thumbs up for this one. (My taste is MJ Daisy and GA Code among other few)

Toners -Vichy - Pureté Thermale Hydra-Soothing Toner
rated 5 of 5
Upset 5/18/2012 11:34:00 AM

Fantastic toner. I always go back to Vichy cleansing waters/toners seeing they are gentle on my skin, do not dry it out, are effective and inexpensive. Love this one especially for my skin, hydrating and leaves a nice clean finish.

Toners -Unlisted Brand - Apivita Toner Lotion With Honey and Orange for Normal and Dry Skin
rated 1 of 5
Upset 5/18/2012 8:46:00 AM

BURNT my skin. Apivita raves how "natural" this product is, but each time I used it (5 times to be sure) my skin felt like it was on fire and I had to splash cold water immediately to soothe. Awful. I should have stuck to Vichy cleansing waters/toners which are superb. Smells fantastic though.

Cleansers -Christian Dior - Mousse Tendre Nettoyante gentle foaming cleanser dry or sensitive skin
rated 4 of 5
Upset 5/18/2012 6:01:00 AM

My skin is dry/dehydrated. I usually take my SS and makeup off at the end of the day with a cleansing oil and then use a cleansing water. I wanted a really gentle cleanser to use in the morning when my skin is already quite clean or after the cleansing oil. This does not foam at all, not sure how effective it is to use on it's own, but it is extremely gentle on my skin, does not dry it out in the least or leave a film; it leaves it feeling very comfortable. Pricey, but I think I would purchase again for what I need it for.

Sunscreen -Bioderma - Photoderm SPOT Spf 50+ / UVA 35
rated 5 of 5
Upset 5/4/2012 8:33:00 AM

ME: I work outdoors in Greece during the summer, so I need all the protection I can get. My favourite I had ever found prior to this was LRP's spf 40 spray Dermo Peds. As for the ss, it leaves a very, very slight sticky/sheeny finish and may enhance pores, but once I've applied loose powder (at the moment Laura Mercier's), I'm super matte all day. I really, really like it, especially the high ppd and so will re-purchase. Properties Fragrance-free formula. Water-resistant. Photostable. Non-comedogenic, hypoallergenic. Okay, I am an avid fan of YSL lipglosses, they are my absolute favourite, but MAN this is amazing! Not just the superrrrrr smooth texture but the colour!!! I have a ton of pink glosses and this is the ONLY one I use, I've had it for yearsssss and just stick to this one, I can't explain why this one just stands out, there is something to this colour which is just right for what I want. I apply over a neutral rose/nude lipstick and voila, perfection!!!! It's long lasting, flattering for a light pink gloss and my lips look so luscious! Perfect, perfect, perfect!

Lip Gloss -Yves Saint Laurent - #4 Pur Raspberry
rated 5 of 5
Upset 2/2/2012 9:50:00 PM

YSL are my favourite glosses, they are pigmented and their texture and quality is top notch. This a staple for me and I have actually used it up! It gives me the perfect luscious "demure lolita" lips! I adore the colour, it's a beautiful pop of watermelony? I especially love this shade during summer nights, especially when I'm on a Greek island (yes, I'm nostalgic for summer!!!) and do not want to overload on the make up (except for a lot of bronzer) or when I feel like a girlie, pouty lip :)

Bronzers -Guerlain - Terracotta Light Sheer Bronzing Powder-Blondes 01
rated 5 of 5
Upset 2/2/2012 9:42:00 PM

FANTASTIC. Gives me a healthy, sun kissed glow without looking fake in the slightest. I can layer this on and it still looks great. My skin is a very, very light olive complexion with yellow undertones. I absolutely love it! There is a faint shimmer but comes off as a glow/natural looking. My next favourite is Dior's matte sunshine spf 20 in #003, amber matte. It is a tad bit darker and completely matte, I was using this one consistently and I really like it and had snobbed my Guerlain one in my drawer when I first bought it, but after a few swipes, it replaced my Dior's, especially for now in winter. Great bronzer.

Blush -Clinique - Blushing Blush Powder in 112 Giddy Pink
rated 4 of 5
Upset 2/2/2012 9:35:00 PM

I'm a blush fanatic, but for the past few months this is the one I've been wearing non stop. This will not give you the most natural look, you definitely need a light hand with it, but it will not make you look clownish either if you go a tad bit overboard. Pink blushes really suit me (yellow toned skin) and they really soften out my make up and this is a lovely one. However, I would not wear this alone, meaning, I only wear this when I have bronzer on (guerlain blondes) and apply a bit on my inner cheeks for a softer finish/look. I think the texture is nice, and if you have a good base applied beforehand, it will last. For the meantime, it's a staple.

Eyeliner -Estee Lauder - Double Wear Zero-Smudge Liquid Eye Liner
rated 5 of 5
Upset 2/2/2012 9:26:00 PM

Colour: #01, Black. I'm not THAT great with applying liquid eyeliner but this really is fantastic- even though the first few times my hand glided out of control grrrr. Anyhow, if you are more familiar with applying liquid eyeliner you'll love this one. It is sturdy, you can achieve a thick or super thin line, it seriously does not smudge or flake- though it does need extra attention when taking off as it is stubborn, man and the colour is a great deep, glossy black. I will say though, for me, I apply doing the following-call me insecure but I feel I can really master it this way: I dab my eyeliner brush into my MAC blacktrax fluidline, achieve the look I'm going for, then on top of that, I just go through it with the EL liner and voila, perfection! Not to mention a totally "not going anywhere no matter what" effect.

Eye Shadow -Estee Lauder - Pure Color Praline
rated 5 of 5
Upset 2/2/2012 9:15:00 PM

I love various shades of eye shadows but shades of any light warm brown or deep burnt coral are my favourite as they make my blue eyes pop. My typical eye makeup consists of a nude base with a matte brown eyeshadow in the socket area, blended, with eyeliner on the upper lid and waterline (then smudged below the water line). I see this really suits me, therefore I'm aways on the look out for a warm shade of brown. Praline is JUST PERFECT. The texture is incredible; buttery smooth, soft matte finish and it glides on wonderfully. The colour is one of my absolute favourites as it is a beautiful warm and flattering shade, soft and pretty. I layer it on for intensity in the socket area then blend (with the winshield wipe technique). It really, really gives off such a beautiful dimension of colour, not too strong or light and it truly is a flattering shade. I love it. I bought a whole bunch of neutral similar shades to praline from this particular line (some more lighter, darker or more coral) and this is so far my favourite one.
