this product is overall really good. i liked how it had a pre-treatment serum (i had the pro keratine type), and it left my hair glossy and soft after the colouring instead of dry and brittle. a letdown was the horrible smell that the dye had, but then again practically all hair colors have that. that being said, the only let down was the strength of the colour. i bought a burgundy brown, which was fairly dark, but still light compared to black/dark brown hair. my hair is not virgin, and some parts of it were really light, since i highlighted before, but after this colouring, the colour that turned out was literally black, with only that tiny, tiny bit of deep red/purple under a bright light.
For me, this product is better than it is worse, but it still has a couple of distinctive flaws. For one, I HATE the nozzle. It sprays a direct, narrow stream instead of a mist which causes even distribution really hard to get. I still have the bottle from the old Pantene Pro-V Heat Protectant which had a really good nozzle, so I just switched them, but it would probably be a hassle for people who didn't have it. Secondly, again, unlike the old Pantene Pro-V protectant, this new one has a formula that sort of makes it sticky, before I use heat and even sometimes after.
I use a mixture of foundation and concealer on my face because layering makes my skin look cakey, along with the fact that I put on powder afterwards. Also, I use my products sparingly, so the areas where I needed to use my mixture were small, blemished, red areas or undereye circles, so I bought the concealer brush. This brush performs very well, it blends extremely well, is soft even though not too loose or flappy, which is good because the skin under my eye is sensitive. Overall, I would buy this product again.
First off, I got this as part of a pack, so I technically got it for much cheaper that what you would pay if you bought it separately, whcih is about $10 (which actually isn't that bad). I saw lots of people complaining about the application process and how the brush is slightly tapered, making it hard to use. This didn't happen for me. Even though the brush is round and tapered, it's soft and the hairs are flexible, so I actually do manage to get powder on the brush and on my face evenly.
after using my st ives apricot scrub for ages, i decided to try a different st ives scrub, and i chose this one because of the green tea quality it claims, the salicylic acid for acne, and the fact that it's a scrub. i've only ever used the apricot scrub, so i didn't know if the exfoliating beads were supposed to be like they were. it took some time getting used to, but it works. the only why i didn't give this perfect score is because, it's probably just me, but i personally didn't like the smell, even though the scrub worked wonders. but i will buy again
i got this in peony, and i would buy it again but defintely in a different colour-peony was just too dark for me and everyone was noticing it looking like unnatural tinted lips while i wanted a more natural looking hue of colour. also, the colour that it is (a nice red with a cool undertone, i think) went on my lips not the same sheer colour, but rather with more of a hot pink tone which i didn't like. however, the product smells nice, mosturizes and has spf 15 which is great. so i would buy again but in a different colour
Liquid -Elizabeth Arden - Flawless Finish Skin Balancing Makeup

i hate this product. it feels gross on my skin, like cake, even though i only used a little bit. it makes my skin look dry and extremely flaky even though i just used a really good exfoliating cleanser before drying ym face and putting this on. i would not repurchase.
Styling Products -Clairol - Herbal Essences Body Envy Volumizing Mousse
TwinkleTwilight 3/13/2011 1:22:00 PM
this product gave me unexpected volume to my limp but not fine hair. it smells absolutely amazing (like all herbal essences products), and was super super cheap. i definetely want to try other herbal essences mousses in the future, but if there was only the body envy mousse from herbal essences, i would definetely repurchase.
Treatments -Lancome - Primordiale Cell Defense Serum [DISCONTINUED]

this product was a generally good product. i noticed that it helped midly with my acne, reducing it a bit, even though i didn't think that came in the description. it did make my skin look and feel better on the platforms that it said it would. i got this on sale, so it wasn't as expensive as regularly priced lancome products. i wish that the bottle was a bit bigger, but i would buy this again
Lip Treatments -Clinique - Superbalm Lip Treatment
TwinkleTwilight 1/14/2011 2:25:00 PM
Best lip balm EVER! My lips before were so dry and flaky that it would hurt so much whenever I tried to move them. Then I got this for Christmas, used it, and within hours, all my lip troubles disappeared. My version isn't tinted, so it's clear, and while it is supposed to feel kinda creamy-ish like lip balms should, it is not at all too heavy or over glossy. The price is kinda more than regular balms, but the quality is so worth it. I will definetely buy this again.
it didn't cover up everything, but it worked well enough for me, considering the fact that since it has tea tree in it that it's probably helping to clear up blemishes. the packaging wasn't bad, but it looked kinda funny, shaped like a lipstick.
this mask leaves my face cool, smooth and refreshed like it said it would. the only downfall for me was that on the packaging it didn't have any instructions on how to use the mask, even though almost all masks are leave on to dry and then rinse or peel off. some more info could've helped though. nonetheless, it's a great buy
Skincare - Face -The Body Shop - Tea Tree Oil Daily Cleansing Wipes

since these were the first wipes i bought ever, i'd always thought that they wouldn't leave my face as clean as with a cleanser. wrong. it removes makeup so easily, removes oil and dirt, and works very well. definetely buy again
The colour is amazing! I didn't put on a lot of product on my hair and I got leftovers ( which I dumped) but I regret it because the colour didn't show up as well as on the box. The colour on my hair turned out more pink than purple but that is absolutely fine. The applicator wand would sometimes bend during the application but never break. But the product did smell bad( the smell leaves your hair afterwards though) EDIT: I've had this product on my hair since the last day of October. It is now in around mid-January and the colour has still stayed on perfectly, except for the fact that it now looks a tiny bit bronzier that when I first got it. My black highlighted hair is shiny, colourful and I've been constantly getting compliments from everyone.
i got this in the titanium type, and the colour was a dark purple. i think it looked more black than purple on my fingers, but that didn't really matter too much to me. the colour was metallic and shiny, which was pretty. i like how there is an extra cap over the applicator cap, which provides extra safety. also i got it for $2, dirt cheap.
