I'm in love with this mascara! I picked it up when I was on holiday in the US not knowing much or having tried any Tarte products. I was very impressed when I first tried it - volume, definiton and separation! Finally, an all-in-one mascara! Easy to apply and no smudges or flaking. The only think I can fault is that the formula does dry out a little and a little bit of clumping does occur but nothing too bad. Will be buying this again and again!
Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

First eye shadow primer I've used and its really really good! Shadows stay on for hours on end. I can apply my eyeshadow in the morning and usually by the end of the day, it still looks just as good! I like that it evens out the skin tone on your eyelid. After having this tube for a while, the product does tend to dry up and becomes hard to spread and apply (I learnt the hard way!) That's my own fault for keeping it for so long!
I bought the original version of this before and wanted to love it like everyone else but I didn't like it at all! When this version came out I was so excited to try it out. I got it in the colour medium and at first I thought it was going to be too light because as I was applying it, I could see that it was easily a shade lighter for me :( BUT as I did the rest of my makeup I noticed that the colour had adjusted/oxidised to my skin tone! And I love it, it gives a semi-matte finish but I still sometimes powder my face to set it. You can easily go from light to medium coverage - if you don't have too many imperfections. I used to rotate between my foundation and the bb cream and honestly, almost everytime I wore this, my bf would comment on how nice my skin looked! I now wear this daily to work and on weekends unless I'm going out special. The only concerns I have is the colour - it is a bit more pink based than I'd like; and the packaging - I like the slim tube, but as soon as you open it, product is already on its way out, so I store it upright with the opening facing up
I was excited to try this out, at first I thought the product would be quite firm and difficult to work with, but I was wrong! Its smooth and ewasy to work with. Biggest down side to me is the glitter, in the pan it doesn't look too bad, but once I apply it, you could just see a whole lot of glitter and not much of the actual colour (or maybe I was distracted with all the glitter). Tried using with my fingers and a stippling brush, still the same effect *sigh*
I honestly don't see the WOW factor in this mascara. For me its just give my lashes a natural look - not much length and ZERO volume! The only thing its good for is separating my lashes. I go back and forth from using regular bristles to rubber/plastic ones. And after using this, I am sticking with the classic bristles! The little spikes hurt my waterline too if I want to get right at the base of my lashes *ouch* One point for staying power, another for separation. Don't believe the hype!
Lipstick -NARS - Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Bahama

Beautiful! I would decribe this as one of those colours where u want colour, but nothing too bright or too dark. Its just gives you a clean and tidy look. For me its a shade or 2 darker than my natural lip colour. It truly is matte and the staying power is ok, I don't think its drying on the lips, but in saying that my lips tend to get dry when I wear any lipstick! Even though I use a lip balm prior to application. I love that its slim and easy to carry around and SO easy to apply! But like most people - I'm not a fan of the lid!
Treatments (Eye) -Burt's Bees - Radiance Eye Cream with Royal Jelly

What a great eye cream! Its moisturising and it does what its meant to do! My lovely boyfriend pointed out that I was getting wrinkles (crows feet) around my eyes (hahaha) since then I was on a mission to get an eye cream! I didn't want something too expensive since I haven't ever really used an eye cream. I got this for about AU$35, a bit on the expensive side I know, but I did my research first. I've been using this for about a month and a half now and I can see the puffiness around my eyes have come down a bit and the tiny wrinkles around my eyes are almost filled in! Dark circles have started to fade, not a lot. You only need a TINY amount, this little bottle will last for ageeesssss!!! The only down side is the package - I just hate taking it with me travelling when the product settles on the side and on the lid (this is just a personal thing haha)
This is a very VERY pigmented blush, but is still a gorgeous colour! Depending on you skin tone, I think you have to be careful when applying this. For my medium toned skin, I only ever need the tiniest amount to get good colour payoff, if i get too much on my brush I end up looking like a clown! It's a very warm (dark) pink colour with tiny gold reflects that's visible on the pan but once it's on your skin you don't really notice it. You've got to be careful with this blush, but if you can use it right.. it's a FAB colour!
Loving NARS blushes! I would describe Torrid as a slightly darker version of NARS' Deep Throat, it's still got that slight gold shimmer through it - but hardly noticable, only when it catches the light. It's such a beautiful colour that's well pigmented. I'd recommen this for girls who have a medium/tan skin tone where Deep Throat doesn't really show up on the skin (like me). This works really well to give you that natural look or you can build it up to suit your look.
Lipstick -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter - Berry Smoothie

Out of all the ones I saws, this is my favourite colour. For me its one of those, 'my lips but better' colours. It just gives that hint of colour but not overly obvious that you've got anything on or put in too much effort. There is shimmer but it's barely noticable. The formular is quite smooth, the only downside is the packaging - as u wind it back down, some of the product get scraped on the the edge of the case and I find the product melts very easily don't leave it in the car or in your bag on a hot day!
This is one of those blushes where it truly adapts to your skin (for me anyway). I've got medium/olive undertones NC40 and this blush really warms up my face giving me that naturally flushed look. I applied it in the morning without thinking too much about it and during the day I went to the bathroom and was very surpised to see that the colour had somewhat changed - in a good way - to really suit me.Its not overly pink or brown. Its a mix between a blush and bronzer, I don't normally use bronzer so this is kind of a halfway bronzer. Its a good blush to use if you're going for a simple natural look.
After using Neutrogen's deep clean cleanser for almost 2 years, I thought it was time to switch things up a bit. I loved using Neutrogena, I thought it was pretty good. I have combination skin and I get the occasional spot here and there, but I was also having problems with getting pimples on my neck and I found it difficult to get rid of them as they were recurring and sometimes painful. I was looking into different cleansers that were specifically for pimples in hope to find a cure. I was overwhelmed with the choices and decided to go for a basic cleanser from Nivea since I already love they're body products. I've used this for a few months now and I have seen a DRAMATIC difference. I no longer get pimples on my neck! (Except for maybe a small one that would last a day or 2) month after month I would expect a new and painful zip to appear (esp around that time of the month) but it was all under control now! I'm very pleased and thankful to have finally found something that works for me! Its given me more confidence now. It cleans well and smells great. Your face truly does feel refreshed and clean I guess I've found my HG!
I was excited to try this since I love the faux cilis. But I was very disappointed in thos one. The brush is useless - I can't even tell if there is a any product on it, after trying to apply it, it seems like there's no product at all on the brush. I find I have to keep applying until I see any difference to my lashes (I'm already touching my upper water line trying to get product onto my lashes, with the bristles so far apart). It holds the curl well but doesn't last the whole day, I notice flaking and smudging! Not happy at all! For me it just gives a natural look. Too much effort!
This is my first time to use a mascara with fibres. Its very intersting! And I love it! Firstly it hold a curl really really well - all day; the forumla is quite wet, but once it dries, it kinda turns water resistant and there is no flaking or smudging after a full days wear. That being said, it's very easy to remove with water as it just washes off as a whole, in fibre clumps I suppose. However, using makeup wipes does take a little bit longer. I never used to wear mascara on my bottom lashes because I feared looking like a panda. BUT I can use this mascara knowing it will stay put - and it does! Very pleased. For me, this mascara gives good length, definition, separation but only a little bit of volume. It really opens up your eyes.
I've bought a few red lipsticks, but so far none compare to this! My preference for the perfect red lip is a red that's bright - but not overly bright; orange undertone (instead of blue) and matte. Jungle red ticks all the boxes! I think it makes a cute AND sexy red. The only 2 things I have to complain about is the amout of product that you get. To me, you don't get as much product as other lipsticks - the bullet is slightly shorter and it does dry out my lips even though I put a lip balm before I apply this, as well as on top after application. Other than that, staying power is good, it lasted a few hours after eating a meal (although I was being careful), and it fades evenly which is another plus. Will be buying this again!!!
