OMG, this smells soooo disgusting!!! it's an absolutely unsexy and gross, anti-sex scent. It smells like an old lady and exactly like a DUSTY OLD ATTIC, it's very strong too. Smells old, like a dusty old book that hasn't been opened in decades or like old dusty musty things or like an old dark dusty attic that never sees the sunshine. Smells like an old lady!!! It's like ewww. Seriously, you may like or not like some perfumes but in general all perfumes are supposed to smell "pleasant" regardless of one's liking, but this perfume smells truly gross, actually disgusting. It's by far the worst perfume I've ever smelled. I can't believe anyone would want to wear this, much less find it sexy, except for an old lady, geez, it's like the anti-sex. I was at this store and smelled it and I was like eww, totally grossed out, and this sales lady saw me and laughed and told me that she thought this perfume was absolutely gross as well, and that only gradmothers liked it & most people loathed it, funny, don't mean to offend anybody but that's what she said!!! However I think Dita Von Teese would adore this perfume, this is what I imagine to be her favorite scent. So if you like that style and you like old-fashioned things and you like to smell the way they did in 1940 or if you don't mind smelling like an old lady, maybe you'll like this too, but if you don't, you will probably loathe this like myself - it stinks, smells like an old lady and like an old dusty attic!!!

Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden - Hidden Fantasy by Britney Spears
rated 2 of 5
TrashyDoll 12/1/2009 8:51:00 PM

Smells exactly like an orange creamsicle!!!! I don't like orange scents so I definitely don't like it, too bad because I think Britney's previous fragrances are amazing and I love them all except for this one and Believe, which are the only Britney ones I haven't purchased and which I won't purchase so far. I don't know what's wrong with Britney, this one and Believe, her latest ones, are so bad when her fragrances used to be soo yummy!!! Brit should go the candy & yummy super sweet foody route because she made some of the best in that category!!!! My favorite out of all her fragrances is Fantasy. I haven't smelled Circus Fantasy yet since it's not yet available in my country, I can't wait to smell it, hopefully it's so much better and all sweet and yummy like her first ones!!!!

It smells exactly like baby powder and roses!!! It's subtle, not strong at all, but with good lasting power. It's a nice scent but just not one of my favs. The bottle & packaging are soooo cute!!!!

I think this fragrance is very overrated. It's nice but not great... I really don't know why some people find this fragrance foody or vanilla-ish or candy-like, I'm a HUGE foody and candy scent lover and there's nothing foody or candylike or vanilla-ish in this fragrance AT ALL. It's a fruity-floral fragrance. I think it smells just like dark chocolate coated ripe apples. Not milk chocolate or sweet chocolate, think bitter totally dark chocolate. I can definitely smell the dark chocolate but it doesn't make this fragrance chocolatey or foody at all... it's just a subtle note surrounded by fruity floral notes (especially apples!!!) and if you can imagine the scent of a ripe strong scented fresh apple coated with the darkest chocolate, being the apple scent a lot more prominent than the chocolate one & a tiny hint of woods, that's exactly what this fragrance smells like!!! Not too strong either, this fragrance is subtle, not that it has bad lasting power, it's just a subtle scent. I like it but I don't love it... I wish it was candy & cake which it isn't, it's a little boring for my taste. I don't think it's especially appropiate for any age group either... I think it'd be perfect for any age as long as it's your kind of scent. And the bottle is soo cute!!!!

Fragrances -Christian Dior - Hypnotic Poison
rated 5 of 5
TrashyDoll 12/1/2009 4:44:00 PM

It's a super strong, heavy and dark scent, very dark, not sweet at all, it even has something kinda "minty" to it kinda like Root Beer does, I think it's its spiciness and I think that may be the reason why some people say they think it smells like Root Beer, but I really don't think it does!!! I can definitely smell the vanilla in it but it's not your typical sweet, yummy vanilla at all... it's a very spicy, smoky, dark vanilla, not gourmand or foody at all. Its lasting power is absolutely amazing of course, like with all Dior perfumes, lasts for days and very little goes a very long way. Not for the faint of heart... I quite love it, especially when I'm in the mood for it;)

Fragrances -Unlisted Brand - Parlux - Jessica Simpson Fancy
rated 4 of 5
TrashyDoll 12/1/2009 4:08:00 PM

I'm a huge fan and total lover of yummy foody and super sweet candylike scents, and Jessica's previous line Dessert Treats was my perfume dream come true... too bad the products on the line smelled like heaven but had absolutely no staying power and felt more like scented water than like perfume!!!=( Anyway the line was discontinued (sadly=() along with her regular Dessert line and then she came up with Fancy, her first "real" fragrance (with staying power and which actually has the quality of real perfume and not scented water). Since Jessica's products aren't sold in my country or anywhere here in Europe I think, I read the reviews on here about Fancy which said it was so yummy and cupcake-like, and knowing Jessica Simpson's previous scents I know she has a great taste in perfume and loves yummy scents just like me and I thought I wouldn't be disappointed, so I purchased Fancy online unsiffed!!! Too bad though, because I'm disappointed=( The scent is not at all candy-like or cupcake-like. There's a lot of vanilla in Fancy, gourmand yummy vanilla, which I absolutely adore and I think it's one of the best notes in a scent ever, but sadly the perfume and yummy vanilla are ruined by lots & lots of amber (as much as vanilla) & floral notes... and that makes the perfume a floral-vanilla fragrance, far from candy-like or cupcake-like, which it'd be if it didn't have the amber and floral notes which ruin it for me and make what could have been a total foody yummy dream a floral vanilla not yummy/foody fragrance which is nothing special. Also I quite dislike the amber in this fragrance because it makes Fancy smell soo much like Jean Paul Gaultier Classique, which I also have. And JPG Classique is definitely not a sweet yummy foody fragrance at all, and everytime I wear Fancy I can't help but think it smells almost like JPG Classique. Fancy smells just like Jean Paul Gaultier Classique with lots of sweet vanilla added to it. I wish Jessica would launch bubblegum/cotton candy/cupcake scents like the ones on her Dessert Treats line as real perfumes with staying power, that'd be a dream come true for me!! But Fancy's just too boring with all those florals=( And regarding the packaging, I think the packaging and especially the bottle of Fancy are hideous... the bottle is so heavy and ugly cheap looking, feels like if it were made of the heavy glass of which bottles of drinks are made instead of the glass of perfume bottles... and the design is just so ugly, hideous and cheap looking!!! The metal-imitation plastic cap doesn't help either, it's sooo ugly and cheap looking!! And the name "Fancy" for a fragrance, so cheesy & cheap lol... totally matches the cheesy cheap bottle... whoever came up with the name and designed the bottle should be fired... like can't you get any cheaper and cheesier??

Fragrances -Vera Wang - Flower Princess
rated 1 of 5
TrashyDoll 11/30/2009 11:25:00 PM

Pure absolutely boring floral. Just floral boredom. This is the opposite of what I like in a fragrance... it's so boring and unnofensive. Just total unnofensive tame boring flowers and that's all there's to this fragrance lol. It's not sweet or yummy or appealing or anything like that, it's just a boring tame floral. I don't think it's especially appropiate for any age group - it would suit from young baby girls to elderly women and everything in between as long as it's your kind of scent, but it's deffinitely not mine, I wouldn't wear Flower Princess even if I were offered money to do so, let alone purchase it!! Can you tell I HATE this scent lol?? It's by far the worst out of all the Princess fragrances. The bottle is so darn cute though!!

Fragrances -Agent Provocateur - maitresse
rated 2 of 5
TrashyDoll 11/16/2009 9:57:00 PM

This fragrance isn't sold in my country, and I first smelled it @ Sephora when I was in the USA and even though it didn't drive me crazy, I thought I liked it. Then another day I was in NYC and I was @ the Sephora in front of the Rockefeller Center @ 5th Ave and I smelled it again and I thought it was soo nice... not my fave fragrance ever but I liked it a lot, so much that I thought I wanted it and couldn't stop thinking about it for over a year. I read the reviews here and how some people said it smelled old-ladyish and I was like wtf, no way it was so nice. Then finally I decided to order it online even though I didn't remember how it smelled like, I just remembered it was soo nice. Big disappointment when I got it though!!! It REALLY does smell like old-ladies perfume!!!! The original Agent Provocateur fragrance is absolutely gross and smells badly like strong old ladies perfume and old stuff, it's the worst fragrance I've ever smelled. Maitresse, even though it's so much nicer and not near as strong and gross, still smells like old ladies perfume. It's not like it's a scent soo strongly old smelling that you just loathe it like the original Agent Provocateur, this one is floral and slightly sweet in a floral way, you can stand it and it's even nice (just old lady smelling), I just don't wanna smell like old ladies perfume. I haven't smelled the rest of the Agent Provocateur fragrances but the 2 I've smelled truly are old ladies perfumes, totally far from sexy and erotic, unless u find a man who's into grandmas!! What's wrong with AP making grandma's scents and pretending to sell them like if they were sex!! Maybe it's the retro stuff... AP is very vintageish and retro and this is definitely the way they liked their perfumes in the 1940's, probably what Marilyn Monroe, Bettie Page & Audrey Hepburn smelled like (hence why grandma's smell like this, it was their scent back in the day and they still love it... & Marilyn's favorite perfume was Chanel No.5 BTW, kinda in the same range!!) but just market them as pinup/retro/vintage scents, don't pretend they're sexy because they're far from it!! I don't know what I was thinking when I smelled it and thought it was nice... maybe after being surrounded by the scent of NYC (no offense to anybody but it isn't very pleasing and u all know it) any perfume I had smelled I'd have thought that smelled really nice, I wonder if that was it. EDIT December 10 2009: I tried to give it a chance and wore it but it got even worse!!! I was walking down this windy street and I noticed that this old lady was walking behind me, and I started smelling really yucky old lady perfume, total granny scent, and I thought, yuck, that must be what the grandma behind me is wearing, how yucky are these old lady scents... when I realized the old lady was no longer behind me and had been gone long ago and that what I was smelling was the perfume I was wearing, Maitresse!!! YUCK YUCK YUCK!!!! If anybody wants it, I have the 3.4 oz / 100 ml bottle which has been sprayed like 10 times (like about 98% full), I'd love to swap it, please message me if you'd like to swap for it!!!!!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Frost Eyeshadow in Vellum
rated 1 of 5
TrashyDoll 11/16/2009 4:40:00 PM

This eyeshadow is the biggest CRAP lol!!!! It may be MAC's biggest fail when it comes to eyeshadows, and probably one of MAC's worst products ever. First off, the formula is supposed to be a FROST, not a lustre, which means it's supposed to be a metallic/frosty color with a decent color payoff. However there's nothing frosty or metallic about this eyeshadow and it has absolutely no color payoff, at all. It's pure SHEER CHALK. Absolutely sheer matte white chalk with the subtlest bluish reflect. Has absolutely no color payoff, it's so sheer, there's absolutely no way to make the color show up. It's chalky and sheer, horrible to blend, flaky, horrible to shade, horrible texture. The color would be amazing if it was frosty/metallic and if it showed up, but it's the total opposite. This product is just crap, worse than $1 dollar store eyeshadow. I can't believe MAC is selling this absolutely 0 quality eyeshadow. Some reviewers say they use this eyeshadow as a highlighter... that may be the only use for it since it's completely sheer and there's no way to make it show up, but I wonder who would want a matte and chalky highlighter with the worst texture ever?? I guess it depends on personal taste, but I like my highlighters frosty and metallic!! This is CRAP!!!

Fragrances -Aquolina - Pink Sugar Sensual
rated 5 of 5
TrashyDoll 11/12/2009 9:39:00 PM

I just got this fragrance which was launched in September 2009 in its home country Italy (I'm not sure if it's avalaible in other countries yet) and which I was absolutely totally excited about since Pink Sugar is my fave fragrance ever, and this is its first flanker and by the name u'd guess it's a sexier version of Pink Sugar... u'd also guess it's a sexy, sensual scent. Well, I'm sooo disappointed!!! It's absolutely nothing like Pink Sugar and there's nothing sexy or sensual about it!!! It smells just like WATERMELON and black sugar (for anybody who doesn't know what black sugar is, we have this candy here in Spain & in Italy called coal candy which is made with black sugar, which is this black, licorice sugar). When u first spray it it's absolutely fruity, it's pure watermelon!! And PSS doesn't have any watermelon notes, it's the blacurrant mixed w/ other notes what makes a watermelon impression!! Then as it dries down the extreme fruitiness stars fading a little and the black sugar scent stars growing and becoming more and more noticeable, the watermelon scent stays there mixed with the black sugar scent and it becomes sweeter and not as fruity, but still, far from yummy or sexy, the only thing similar to Pink Sugar is the licorice/burnt sugar note, but this is very fruity (which Pink Sugar isn't at all) and lacks any vanilla/marshmallow/cotton candy yumminess, it's been replaced with fruitiness. What a dissapointment, I was expecting something soo much yummier and actually sexy=( With such sexy ads and cute lacey packaging and such a sexy name, u'd totally guess it'd smell somehow yummy, similar to Pink Sugar or at least expect a sexy and sensual, seductive scent... but it isn't at all!!!! The ads also say Pink Sugar and Chocolovers are scents created to awake desire for sweet notes and childhood while Pink Sugar Sensual aims at a more mature generation of women who prefer seductive approach - soo misleading. This is definitely a teen scent, I don't think any "mature" women who disliked Pink Sugar and wanted something more mature and seductive will appreciate this scent any more than Pink Sugar, find it mature or seductive at all:: it smells like a teen watermelon fragrance, it smells very sweet too, from the coal candy/black sugar licorice note, just no vanilla, marshmallow or cotton candy in this fragrance, not that kinda foody yummy sweetness, it's a candy coal sweetness. Soo far from all things sexy or yummy. Nice, fruity-sweet watermelon & black sugar fragrance, but nothing special, sexy or that stands out. I think a teen looking for a fruity watermelon fragrance to wear to middle school will appreciate it a lot more than anybody looking for a sexy fragrance. The packaging is just like Pink Sugar's, but in Pink Sugar Sensual the pink & white swirl has been replaced by a baby pink background & black lace swirl, with a black cap. Soo cute and sexy... too bad the scent doesn't match the packaging or ads AT ALL. I'm sooooo dissapointed=( The bottle is the same as Pink Sugar's, except the sprayer is bold pink watermelon colored instead of subtle baby pink like in Pink Sugar, & the lines-drawings in the bottle are black instead of pink. The bottle's cap is the same baby pink color in both. While the color of the perfume Pink Sugar is yellowish, Pink Sugar Sensual is totally clear. Pink Sugar Sensual also has less lasting power and is much less intense than Pink Sugar, but it's not like its lasting power & intensity are bad. In resume, what this fragrance smells exactly like: watermelon + coal candy (black licorice sugar), & instead of being called Pink Sugar Sensual, it should be called Black Sugar Watermelon. EDIT December 10 2009:: after owning Pink Sugar Sensual for almost a month now and having worn it plenty of times I have to update!!!! I have realized that it smells quite similar to Britney Spears Fantasy, the original Fantasy, not exactly the same but quite similar!!!! it has that same mix of fruit and sweetness. Fantasy is more intense, a more "powerful", stronger and longer lasting scent, while PS Sensual is weaker and way less long lasting. Fantasy is also yummier and foodier with cupcake/white chocolate creamy foody/gourmand notes that give it its sweetness, while PS Sensual is not really foody and doesn't have any yummy or foody notes, its sweetness is a sugar sweetness, literally, it's like fruit with black sugar & the sugar note is what gives it its sweetness but it's -not- a yummy, foody, creamy or vanilla sweetness at all unlike in Fantasy and unlike in the original Pink Sugar. It's also soo much weaker and soo much less long lasting than the original Pink Sugar, not that its lasting power is bad, but it's definitely not good. If you liked the original Pink Sugar, you may or may not like Pink Sugar Sensual, and if you expect something similar, you'll be disappointed. PS Sensual is sweet AND fruity, while the original PS doesn't smell like fruit at all. The original PS is a yummy, foody, vanilla-ish, caramel, cotton candy yummz kinda scent, PS Sensual isn't at all, it's fruit and sugar, without the foody & yummy notes. The original Pink Sugar is the good stuff, PS Sensual is a little too similar to way too many fragrances on the market, it definitely will never be even half as special IMO!!! And PS Sensual is definitely NOT a sensual or sex scent!!! I wish!!!!! talk about a misleading name and ads lol!!!!! it isn't a mature scent at all either, it's what is considered really teen. Don't get me wrong though, I love this scent since it's sweet and I adore sweet scents so I'm rating it a 5, but compared to my other beloved sweet fragrances, this is at the very bottom of my list and will never be a truly favorite of mine... still an amazing scent compared to what's out in the market and I love it!!!! NOTES TOP NOTES: Bergamot, Tangerine, Black Currant MIDDLE NOTES: Jasmine, African Orange Flower, Tiare Flower BASE NOTES: Sandalwood, Vanilla, Black Sugar

TrashyDoll 11/10/2009 7:20:00 PM

"Glam Princess is the fourth princess in the line of fragrant creations of the house of Vera Wang. It succeeds Princess from 2006, Flower Princess and Rock Princess presented in April 2009. The latest version arrives on the market in December 2009, while its advertising campaign will be launched a bit sooner, beginning November. The fragrance Glam Princess was created by two perfumers, Ilias Ermenidis and Harry Fremont, of such notes as crushed red currant, juicy guava and pear in top notes of this beautiful composition. A heart adds aromas of orange blossom and vanilla orchid, leaving a trail of base notes which incorporate ambrette seed, sugar marshmallow and soft cashmere wood. Glam Princess arrives in a shimmering gold flacon with pink stars and gold crown with gems, in amount of 50 and 100 ml EDT, accompanied with perfumed body lotion." NOTES: Top Notes: Crushed Redcurrant, Guava, Pear Middle Notes: African Orange Flower, Vanilla Orchid Base Notes: Ambrette Seed (Musk Mallow), Sugar Marshmallow, Cashmere Wood WOOOOOO marshmallow!!!! I can't wait for this fragrance, I'm soo excited!!!! Hopefully it smells really sweet yummy & candy-like and like marshmallows and as good, sweet & girly as the bottle looks!!!!!!! the bottle is sooo pretty, the prettiest out of all the Princess ones by far!!!! I can't wait to smell it, please guys start reviewing!!!;)

Fragrances -Burberry - Brit
rated 4 of 5
TrashyDoll 11/10/2009 2:32:00 PM

I'm reviewing the EDT, I haven't smelled the EDP:: This smells really similar to Britney Spears Fantasy, just not as good!!! Still it's a sweet yummy fragrance... just not as good as Fantasy lol. I own Britney Spears Fantasy and I had never smelled this fragrance before, one day I was out with my sister and I thought she had sprayed my Fantasy on because she smelled just like Fantasy, surprisingly though, she hadn't, she was wearing Burberry Brit!!! I then tried the fragrance myself and I like it a lot. It's not identical to Fantasy but very similar, I like Fantasy more though. And the thing I like the least about Burberry Brit is that on the drydown it has that toxicy chemical gross smell some fragrances do leave, while Fantasy doesn't. This isn't as long lasting as Fantasy either. But still a yummy & girly scent I luv;) Not super yummy, but very nice!! BTW... I think the bottle & packaging don't match the scent at all... they should be pink & girly, not beige-brownish and boring. If it were because of the packaging & bottle, I'd never have tryed this fragrance cuz it'd just seem too boring!!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Beautiful Iris (Veluxe Pearl)
rated 1 of 5
TrashyDoll 11/6/2009 7:26:00 PM

The color of this eyeshadow is pretty (lavender/light purple) and looks very good on me, however, the problem is that this eyeshadow simply doesn't show up!! If it looked only the way it looks on the pan... but once you put it on your lids, the color payoff is soo extremely poor, even if you apply it extremely heavily (as heavily as possible) the color will be pretty poor and unnoticeable. It also has a matte-ish finish, not what veluxe pearls are supposed to look like at all!! I can't believe MAC is selling eyeshadows that are as crap quality as this one, can't they just make a purple eyeshadow that shows up and with a nice texture??

Fragrances -Juicy Couture - Fragrance
rated 3 of 5
TrashyDoll 10/23/2009 2:33:00 AM

This fragrance smells nice, but it's nothing memorable. It's definitely very floral. It's not sweet or foody at all. The best part about it it's that it's girly, but besides that it's just boring. A "safe" nice floral fragrance.

Fragrances -Juicy Couture - Viva La Juicy
rated 3 of 5
TrashyDoll 10/22/2009 9:38:00 PM

I'm a total lover of super sweet yummy and foody fragrances, and by reading the reviews on here I thought I'd kinda like this fragrance since so many people were claiming it's sweet and foody. But then when I smelled it, to my surprise, it wasn't foody or sweet or yummy at all. It smells kinda floral and plasticy with a men's cologne undertone. I'm not a huge fan of florals in general (I absolutely MUCH prefer sweet & yummy foody scents over florals) but I prefer the original Juicy Couture fragrance a million times over this, it smells so much better than Viva La Juicy, and it's a total floral. To me Viva La Juicy fragrance smells just a little like the original Juicy Couture (the base and girliness which is the best part) mixed with manly bitter men's cologne-like notes which are both manly, bitter and plasticy smelling (I know, both manly and girly at the same time, weird lol...). I think everyone should try before buying this!! EDIT December 11 2009: ok so I tried it again, and I like it more than I did when I first smelled it!!! It's definitely a very girly scent, which is something I ADORE!!!!!!;) It's not really foody IMO, it has something to it that smells rubbery/plasticy but in a good way since it's pleasant... I can detect the toffee caramel note but it's not a foody smelling toffee, it's kinda like a rubber toffee scent, kinda like artificial toffee, not foody, rubbery, but smells good!!!!! I still detect something manly smelling about this perfume, it has something in it, some note that kinda smells like men's cologne or like men's aftershave, but still it's girly, I know, it's so strange!!! There's also floral notes which are nice. This is a very interesting fragrance... not foody or gourmand at all in my opinion, more like floral, but I like it, I think it's its girliness!!!! Still I don't think I like it enough to purchase though... I like the original Juicy Couture a lot more.
