This sucks. It doesnt give that great of a shine and It made my polish chip in literally a day. It only cost me three bucks at this nail supply store, but I think it's like 8 or 9 dollars. don't waste your time. Im looking for the receipt as we speak. =\
my new nail obsession. Im caramel colored-- and this is the perfect rockstar/vamp shade for me. sidenote- be careful. It fell into my white sink and broke...purple glitter every where =/

Lovee this..I use it to blend when Im contouring the cheeks. Just be careful when washing it though, I pulled a big chunk of the hairs out when i did!
I've tried a ton of eyelash curlers..this one is severely overrated. It didn't do much for my lashes. And I would've had no problem paying the ridiculous price for it if it actually worked well but it doesn't. Spend $17 bucks less on an ELF..now THAT is an eyelash curler!
I ADORE this liner It definitely works for darker skin tones (I'm caramel colored) and like many of my fellow MUA members mentioned, it's definitely versatile. My fave thing to do is line my lips with Currant and then cover them with Benefit's her Glossiness in "Who does you work?" for a winey sexy vampy lip color.. I get compliments everytime ;)
Treatments -TRESemme - Smooth & Silky Deep Smoothing Masque

I saw this in a magazine, checked the ratings on here, and immediately rushed out to sepnd my last $5 on it (so cheap I got change back ^_-) Anyway, I love it. It smells heavenly, as do all Tresemme products. My extremely curly frizzy crazy hair was somewhat tamed by it. And again, you can't beat the price! I'll buy again and again.
HORRIBLE! Run away...quickly!
Styling Products -Paul Mitchell - ExpressStyle Round Trip Liquid Curl Definer

I bought this based on MUA reviews and I'm very pleased. My hair is very curly and frizzy, this elminated most of my frizz and nicely defined my curls. My hair feels kinda dry and hard but hey..it looks good.
Bath Treatments -Burt's Bees - Baby Bee Buttermilk Bath Pint

I wanted to like this so much, it had great reviews here. I have nothing nice to say at all! Why the heck is it in a glass bottle? The scent didn't smell lsuitable for babies, it reminded me of a musky men's cologne. It didn't make my skin soft at all. I'm in the process of swapping this stuff right now!
THANK GOD I didn't buy this..it came in my Supermodel kit that I received for Christmas. I wanted to like it so much because it's a cult favorite and everyone (except for the reviewers on this site, incidentally) raves about it. The only reason why I gave it a 2 is because I like the way it felt on my skin, nice and silky but it made my face shine like a brand new Cadalliac after I put my foundation and powder And for the cost? Ridiculous. Please spend your $15 on some Essie polish or UD liner (my current obsessions)
Styling Products -Matrix - Biolage Smoothing Serum [DISCONTINUED]
TopModelDiva 2/14/2008 4:27:00 PM
I used to use BioSilk before this which didn't do much for my hair (works good for skin though) and the only reason i used that is because I love the smell but i picked up this serum in CVS on a whim because it was on clearance and was very pleased. It's thicker than BioSilk, which is better for AA hair. It's great for styling, I used it to flip my hair out for work (I work at WingHouse, it's kinda like Hooters) and usually my hairstyle falls flat in like an hour or so but my hair stayed gorgeous for my entire *double* shift. I kept getting compliments. And I love the smell of Biolage products. Did I mention how soft it makes my hair feel? This stuff is definitely a must try.
I have relaxed AA hair that I'm actually trying to grow out of the relaxer, so my hair is freaking out (I've been geting relxaxers for 9 years) this stuff is butter to my stressed hair. I love this consistency and especially the flowery smell. It's a tad bit pricey but hell, you get what you pay for. My hair has more volume after using this, too. My only complaint is that it doesn't really do much for my shedding, but shedding is to be expected when growing out relaxers.
Gels/Soaps -Johnson & Johnson - Softwash Body Wash
TopModelDiva 2/14/2008 4:17:00 PM
I've tried the one with the pink cap and the one in blue bottle meant for shaving and i LOVE THIS STUFF! After shaving my legs with both bottle (I don't use shaving cream) my legs feel so silky. I love the smell and the lather...J&J, I'll never leave you. =)
Styling Products -TRESemme - Instant Heat Tamer Spray
TopModelDiva 2/14/2008 3:46:00 PM
The only thing I like this stuff for is the smell. It's too thin and watery to use for flat ironing and the only reason why I use it to blow dry is because I haven't found something else yet.
-SIGH- I really wanted this to work because I have the worst nails ever and I read such great reviews about this product here and on Folica.com that I was hoping I found an HG.I was severly disappointed. My nails still don't grow long, still don't stop splintering and cracking. The only good thing I can say is that when worn alone it does shine nicely. *looking for receipt so I can get my $14 back*
