Ok for removing eye makeup, but does leave a bit of an oily residue. My biggest gripe is that it doesn't fully remove thicker/waterproof mascara well- I have yet to find a product that does :(

Moisturizers -First Aid Beauty - Ultra Repair Cream

I had one of the worst eczema flair ups of my life over the past 2-3 months and this product saved my skin! I tried it out in the store on a small eczema patch I had on my nose and IMMEDIATELY noticed improvement. Over the past few weeks, I've used it as a moisturizer day and night all over my face & neck and on eczema patches on my body and it has worked wonders! It immediately eases the itching, improves texture, reduces redness, hydrates & soothes. You don't need a ton of product for it to make a huge difference. If you don't rub it in to your skin enough or use too much, it can have a greasy feel, but as long as it's applied appropriately (if you use too much, just spread it out on your neck or other affected areas), it's amazing under makeup or solo at night. I tend to get whiteheads (thanks to combination skin) with other moisturizers and I haven't noticed ANY with this. I also noticed this helped HEAL abrasions & burns (I burned myself with a curling iron & this cream healed it faster than neosporin, I swear!). It is truly a miracle product and is a FANTASTIC value!

I'm torn on this product. I really liked it when I first got it, but after comparing, I'm not so sure... Pros: -Noticeable effects within first week of use -Definite improvement in dark circles -Some reduction in fine lines -Very small amount goes a long way... Cons: -Stings when applied, especially if you've just washed makeup off -Balls up under makeup, so really can only be worn at night (makes smooth concealer application virtually impossible) -Can exacerbate puffiness -pump squeezes out too much product at a time -Noticed veins around eyes were more visible after using this Overall, I like this as a nighttime cream until I find something better, but I don't think I'll buy this again. Maybe my skin is just too sensitive for it...

Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Stiletto

Strong, unpleasant smell totally killed this one for me. The wand is average and the formula is nothing to write home about. Lashes stuck together badly. I usually love Maybelline's mascaras, but this was an epic fail.

Mascara -Rimmel - Sexy Curves

This is my holy grail natural look mascara! It seems to curl your lashes on it's own, separates, lengthens and colors beautifully. This is the only mascara I really love on my lower lashes. Applicator is great- the tiny teeth really coat every lash and make it easy to reach lashes on the inner & outer corners of the eye. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

LOVE the volume this mascara gives- almost makes false lashes obsolete! The applicator is a bit weird and the formula is so thick that the first couple times you use it, you have to scrape off the excess. But, it does cover right down to the lash line, is a true matte black and doesn't flake or smear once dry. Biggest downside: it's really hard to wash off, even with oil-based eye makeup remover! Overall, this is the best mascara I've found for dramatic looks yet.

Powder -Bare Escentuals - Bare Minerals ALL

I've worn this foundation for years and even though I'm really starting to branch out, this is still my fall-back, safety foundation. For the most part, I hate FEELING like I'm wearing foundation (years of wearing stage makeup jaded me) and usually, this feels like you're wearing nothing at all. I am heavily freckled so full-coverage foundation makes me look like I'm wearing a mask. This is enough coverage to even out my skin tone, but still show my freckles so I look like I'm wearing nothing at all. This is great for quick, simple, nearly fool-proof coverage - no blending or complicated application. I live in a really hot & humid climate, so most foundations actually melt off my face as soon as I leave my house. This one actually stays put! I wear this foundation when I'm sweating profusely while playing roller derby and my face will still look good when it's afterparty time :) I have gotten so many compliments on my skin, especially in photos, when I'm wearing this foundation- it just looks flawless. The fact that it's all natural is great for those with sensitive skin (me!) and you ladies who have a habit of "forgetting" to wash your makeup off at night ;) If your skin happens to change tone throughout the year (tan vs. pale, etc.), it's really easy to mix two colors together to make a custom color. Cons: This product can cake up a bit, especially when used as a concealer, under the eyes or in fine lines. It's a powder, so that kind of comes with the territory... The packaging can be clumsy, especially for travel. It's not the most convenient thing to throw in your purse or bag for touch ups throughout the day. I've accidentally spilled a couple of jars, but I'll attribute that to my own clumsiness... If you're looking for full coverage, this is not for you. This is not something that has "buildable coverage"- it's pretty much one-dimensional in that regard. If you have dry skin, this may not be for you as the minerals can absorb the oil on your skin.
