I'm currently buying many back up bottles of this! I can't believe how close Secret Obsession is to Lutens Feminite du Bois, and the Sheisedio version as well! To me this is a fruity woody and unique perfume, so similar to the others...I know it's already been axed by CK.. I'm not sure why it bombed so hard on the market, because it's gorgeous and so very unique compared to other stuff on mainstream perfume counters today...I guess that is why it bombed..On me it has good throw and longevity..Of course if you don't like woody orientals stay away from it..Also they should have launched it under a different name, it smells nothing like Obsession..I'm comparing it right now on my arm to Serge Lutens Feminite du Bois and WOW WOW WOW...They are striking in similarities to me...I can't believe it! By the way, Feminite du Bois goes for 120.00 a bottle, and the original Shiesdeio version ( if you can even find it is around 200 or more online)....Secret Obsession is under 30 bucks at places like T J Maxx and Marshall's...I'm stocking up on this beauty!!!! I can smell warm spicy plums, ginger lily, nutmeg, very faint floral notes, and witchy, sexy, sandalwood, musk and amber...If this isn't a sexy, and bewitching perfume I really do not know what is!
Organza was so popular back in the late 90's and I sold perfumes...The first day I started, the owner told me to pick out a signature scent..I immediately felt drawn to Organza..The timeless and easy grace it exudes was irresistible to me..I love the bottle and the lid reminds me of Aries ram horns ( I'm an Aries)...Organza smells so divine in powder form..I used to have the powder and it made my skin so incredibly silky soft..No fragrance has ever made me feel so comforted and yet so sensual at the same time! I always smell softly sweet & powdery vanilla, gardenias and honeysuckle! I think honeysuckle is what really makes Organza so very unique...It really does cast a spell on everyone around you too. I still get compliments after all of these years....If you have never tried Organza you really have to! I will forever have a spot on my shelf for Organza ( in fact when I wear other perfumes I miss it)....
Eye Shadow -Clinique - Color Surge Eyeshadow Trio in Come Heather
Tigerlilyfeet 5/7/2011 6:56:00 PM
I hit pan with the purple! I love this trio, the other colors are great for all over and brow bone..I don't think Clinque has the best pigment out there, but they aren't bad....Oh and I love the compact.
Lotions/ Creams -Soap and Glory - Righteous Body Butter Lite
Tigerlilyfeet 5/7/2011 6:31:00 PM
Why do they have to discontinue stuff that I love! Why Why Why! I guess I could find this on Amazon, but my local Target no longer carries this line...=( I love this lotion, it does everything I want lotion to do.I've went through 2 bottles of it. The smell is so amazing to me. It mixes perfectly with Coco Mademoiselle which I happen to love too...
Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Hard As Hoof Nail Strengthening Cream
Tigerlilyfeet 5/4/2011 11:37:00 PM
I've tried so many nail strengthening products, but nothing that works like this stuff! I can't believe I actually have naturally strong and long nails after using this. It didn't take very long to see results either. I recommend this if you have weak, or brittle nails. I started using it about a month ago, every night I would rub a lot on each fingernail, while watching T.V or whatever....Now I have really long and strong nails....I'm so happy :) It's great to find a product that actually really works like it says it will, and this one is so cheap! I think it's sold at every drugstore..
Hair -Matrix - Biolage Rejuvatherapie Age Rejuvenating Shampoo
Tigerlilyfeet 5/4/2011 11:19:00 PM
This review is for the conditioner only...OMG this stuff is the bomb...I'm so glad I bought it. I don't have to use a leave in treatment with this. It leaves my hair uber silky, soft and smooth....I love the smell too! You actually can't tell that I have damaged ends or hair shaft with this...I've used a lot of different Biolage products, but this one is by far the most conditioning....Yet it doesn't weigh my hair down, or leave it oily.....I just hope it keeps working for me!
I bought this for the smell, but it impresses me as a conditioner. It's not the best conditioner I've ever tried, but it's certainly not the worst. I like more than Matrix Sleek .
I picked up "Pink Sugar Sensual" at Tj Maxx for $16! I'm so happy with it. I love Pink Sugar, and Chocolovers too. At first Pink Sugar Sensual reminds me of BS Fantasy,( which is fine I love Fantasy) but I think I like the ingredients or essences that Aquolina uses more. Sensual doesn't seem as sticky or gooey as Fantasy. This perfume just smells like a sugar coated orgasm in a bottle to me! I love the huge top notes of black berry and gourmand orange fruits. The dry down is a fun mix with vanilla, pink jasmine and sugar... yum yum :)
I'm on my 3rd bottle of this stuff, I finally upgraded to the biggest size available. It truly is a miracle in a bottle! It seems like no matter what badass conditioner I use, my hair still requires something for tangles. This leaves my hair tangle free, smooth, and silky but it doesn't leave my hair oily. I love the light scent to, it never overpowers the perfume I wear, and doesn't reek of nasty chemicals. I really have no idea how I lived without it for so long! I've tried so many leave in conditioners and honestly none of them were worth the money at all! I recommend this to everyone, especially if you have curly, frizzy, or processed hair.
I've tried to just co-wash my hair with other conditioners but sadly that just doesn't work for my long hair. I have to shampoo and condition...Matrix sleek look is now my top favorite...I love the fresh scent of this and what it does for my hair is like a miracle. I would recommend this to anyone with long hair, curly hair, over processed hair, you name it...This stuff is what you need! It leaves my hair uber soft, and silky...I have less tangles and my hair is easier to style. The best price is the shampoo and conditioner combo for 30...That might be expensive, but to me it's better than buying and trying a lot of cheap stuff that doesn't work for me. Plus the big bottles last for a least 2 months ( and that's washing everyday)....It only takes a little bit of the conditioner for me, and my hair is to my waist...I like it more than Biolage or Bedhead..
I would have named this ‘’Gaia’’ for the earth goddess it’s so leafy and beautiful. The first spray is my favorite part; it’s full of lush vegetation, just like digging in wet earth to plant a flower. On my skin it slowly simmers and reveals simple layers of leafy greens, cucumbers, tulips, bamboo, strawberries still on the vine, and a hint of green bananas. Yet even as I smell all of this, it’s as if I’m deep in the woods traveling through mountainous terrain. In short Mark Earth is simple goodness in a bottle. It reminds me a bit of other floral greens like Arden’s Beauty, Candies, and Curve Soul. That doesn’t distract from the beauty or the originality of this scent for me, as I find Earth unique on its own. I found the scent quite strong as well, with excellent sillage and longevity. In fact if I spray too much I run the risk of headache ville. I don't think I will repurchase simply because it's not a ''me'' scent but it hasn't been discontinued and I think that's a good thing. It's perfect for ''floral green'' lovers.
Fragrances -Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab - Hemlock Honey
Tigerlilyfeet 3/27/2011 11:54:00 PM
I received an imp of this with my last order from BPAL, it’s from the “Rappaccini’s Garden” section. In the vial—sharp pine needles, very herbal with sugary undertones On skin- Oh this morphs beautifully, it’s very strong at first reminding me pine cones, and fir trees. It’s almost like a fairytale forest scent, with little dancing mice to go along with it. But it doesn’t take long for the sweet and raw honey to make an appearance and last until the dry down. I really think it’s a must try for ‘’honey’’ lovers. I love BPAL's honey notes, but I'm not exactly digging the pine which seems to dance right along with the honey throughout the scent. I won’t order a full bottle, but I’ve enjoyed wearing my sample.
I would have never bought this at full price. I found it at TJ Maxx for I believe 19.99, and couldn't believe my good luck. I adore violets so I had to have this one. I've found nothing but negative reviews for this perfume on various sites, and I can see why at it's normal price but actually on sale it's not bad at all. The longevity isn't stellar or anything, perhaps 2hrs tops on me, yet longer on clothes, and great sprayed on hair.. if I love the notes in a perfume if however fleeting I will respray to enjoy them. Yet I must add this, real violets have this amazing and mystical ability to play peek a boo with their aroma..One minute you smell it, the next it's gone, then it comes back. This perfume is exactly like that! Really kinda neat in a way. Overall this is a very linear violet scent on me. I happen to love that fact, it's hard to find just a straight violet perfume that isn't either vintage old skool and expensive, or niche...So I'm digging this A LOT ! It totally smells like a sophisticated and modern violet scent in my perception. Complete with green leaves and everything. I also catch some type of fruity almost bitter blackberry as well, but it's faint and doesn't overwhelm the violet accord. I also believe this wasn't created for it's wow factor, it's not meant to overwhelm you with a complex composition, it's meant to be mixed with other scents.
Liquid -Lancome - Teint Idole ULTRA [DISCONTINUED]
Tigerlilyfeet 3/26/2011 10:25:00 PM
I finally found my HG foundation and it kinda surprised me it's by Lancome! This probably shouldn't shock me so much, my chemistry loves their perfumes so go figure. I just can't believe how perfectly this one fits my skin type and color shade. I'm in color ''Buff 5 C'' and wow it blends perfectly. I've never found a shade that matched me exactly like this one does. I also love how it stays matte for well over 12hours, but unlike others I've tried doesn't feel like I'm wearing a mask like MAC does on me and it's not too dry. But it is a dry foundation right after application it dries to a soft finish, it's perfect for oily/combination skin which is what I have though. I love how it doesn't slide into pores or wrinkles at all! It's oil free as well and I've had no problems with break outs so far. I'm probably more picky about the shade of my foundation than anything, I want it to match my neck. I worked for years as a make up artist and frankly there is no SA that can match me with the right color like I can! With that said....I <3 Sephora...I'm shocked this oxidized on others turning orange, it doesn't on me at all. But then MAC studio fix does and other people just love it. Overall I get a pretty natural flawless full coverage with this and I'm very pleased. I will so buy another bottle. I love the packaging too, it's sleek, and the pump makes application so easy.
Conditioner -Nature's Gate - Chamomile Repleneshing Conditioner
Tigerlilyfeet 3/26/2011 12:17:00 AM
I love this conditioner so much, and I'm reviewing the new and improved version! I co-wash my hair so I have use a conditioner without parabens, this is my fave out all of the lines I've tried. I love the smell for one, it's extremely strong herbal lavender and chamomile. I think there is patchouli in this too. It reminds me of Herbal Essences from the 80's. I love how it leaves my hair shiny ( not oily) soft, and tangle free! The herbal smell lingers though so if you don't want your hair to smell like the conditioner don't buy it, since that smell won't fade at all throughout the day. I've also noticed my hair shaft is stronger, with less split ends..Groovy..I don't know if this would be a good conditioner for people who shampoo on a daily basis, but for co-washers it's perfect!
