I have oily/mild acne prone skin. I wanted to love this product after reading the rave reviews & the products beneficial promises. But this product gave my skin an odd effect. My skin felt oily & dehydrated at the same time..WOWZERS!! After washing my face I would have that tight/pulled feeling (which I'm not a fan of), then a few hours later..can you say bring on the shine! Unfortunately, this one will be going back!

Cleansers -Acure Organics - Facial Cleanser Cleansing Gel

I have oily/mild acne prone skin & I find this cleanser to be decent. I enjoy the texture of the cleanser when washing my face & the beneficial promises the product offers. The set back with this product is that it can be drying, which over a period of time causes my skin to go into panic mode & breakout. I will be re-trying this product during the warmer mths, & updating my review.

I use to live by this stuff, I used it for about 18mths with breaking out here and there (nothing big, seemed normal), I pretty much maintained clear skin. Out of no where I started to breakout like crazy & couldn't put my finger on it. The last thing I thought that could be breaking me out was this product. It started to really dry my skin out big time. After deciding to banish this product, my skin completely cleared up. Due to it working pretty decent for about a yr or so I still think it's worth a try. As I always say the key to finding a good skin regime is trial and error to find what works for you. Good Luck!

Moisturizers -Boots - expert shine control lotion

I have used this product for a while now & can say it does the job. I have oily, acne-prone skin (mild) & I find that this product works great for me. I love the matte feel I get with this product, although it's not long lasting I feel it keeps my skin balanced. However I find during the winter months using a slightly more moisturizing lotion at night keeps my skin balanced. As I always say the key to finding a good skin regime is trial and error to find out what works for you. Good Luck!

Cleansers -Aveeno - Smart Essentials Pore Purifying Facial Wash

Great Product! I have oily, acne prone skin & wanted to banish the use of salicylic acid. Shockingly this product has worked great, I use it twice per day & follow with an oil free moisturizer. The only set backs with this product for me is the fragrance is a tad bit strong for a face wash & also it can be a little drying if not followed by a moisturizer. For now this is my fav, I have used this for a while now & just purchased my third bottle. As always with any good skin regime, trial and error is necessary to find what works for you. My suggestion is to purchase it at Ulta, that way if you don't like it you can return it. Good Luck!
