I love this mascara but it hates me. Twice now I've bought this mascara and twice I've broken out with not one but multiple stys (at the same time) in my eyes. I finally made the connection with the second tube. If this product does NOT cause you any irritations, it is amazing! I love the colour, VERY inky black. Makes my lashes looks so thick and long. The brush is really good at grabbing tiny lashes which I have. And I normally have problems with mascara smudging, but this one held up better than most I've used. So Would I buy it again? No, they stys aren't worth it. But if I didn't get stys, I'd buy it again and again!
Hair Color -L'Oreal - Feria Professional X-Tra Lift Browns

Did not love this product. My hair is medium to dark brown with no red in it. Applied product to all the ends of my hair and did the roots with the last 10 min left. Hair came out with really patchy results, with some parts getting pretty lifted (like the roots which I expected, and some parts of the hair) and the ends and other parts of my hir are just as dark as the beginning. Not a big deal as I can still be seen in public until I put another colour over top, but annoying none the less. Also, this product REALLY irritated my scalp. Had some pretty intense burning, so if you have a sensitive scalp I wouldn't recommend this. I've used Feria lots in the past, but this Hi LIft was a miss for me.
Lips -Revlon - Colorburst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart
TheresaK 8/16/2012 10:51:00 AM
JUST bought my first lip butter. (I know SOOOOOOO behind) And I REALLY like it! Goes on smooth and creamy, colour pay off is FANTASTIC, way better than I was expecting. I thought it'd be a little sheerer. The only things I don't like are that you have to reapply more often than a regular lipstick (which is not a huge deall to me) And I wish it had a scent! I know some people don't like scents, but when you name things like Sweet Tart, Creme Brule, etc I was expecting like a vanilla-y cupcake scent. I like my lip products to have a little scent to them Pricing is good, especially when you can get them for $5.00 on sale! :)
I was hoping to love this product as I used to use their FY Eye primer all the time before they replaced it with THIS. I couldn't figure out why all of a sudden my makeup was creasing (within 2 hours) and slipping and looking gross. Well, it was this. Thank God this was a sample size so I didn't feel back throwing it out and I won't be wasting any money buying one of these. Big time fail Benefit, especially when the product you replaced worked SO well.
Tinted Moisturizer -TheBalm - BalmShelter Tinted Moisturizer

The best tinted moisturizer I've tried to date! Applies like a dream. Makes my skin feel comfortable and once it's on you can't feel it on your face. Coverage is good for a TM. Very light weight and almost has a powder-like finish. I'm NW15 and this doesn't look orange or yellow like a lot of TM or BBs seem to be. It has no scent which I like in a face product. I like a squeeze tube for packaging cause I feel like I can get most of the product out, and they're easy to cut open to get the last bits out. I think the value for money is great. You get a lot of product for the price which is always good! I think I will repurchase this next summer when I retire my foundations for the season.
Got this during my HG bronzer hunt. I ordered it off Hautelook and when it came I looked at it and said "OMG it looks like dirt". It looks very dark, chocolate brown rather than your typical bronze colour. I was a little scared because I'm super fair (NW15) and this seemed really dark. But it's actually really nice! Because it's not "bronze" it doesn't look orange. And it doesn't apply as dark as it looks. It actually adds a nice warmth for contour. I don't know if I'd use this for an all over bronze look though, then you might look dirty I think. I really like the carboard type packaging, I feel safe just chucking it in my purse and traveling and such. And it's nice and slim, so easy to stack, store, etc. I just wish it was longer lasting, but it could just be me as my face seems to eat blushes up before lunch. All in all really like it for contouring. I say if most bronzers looks orange on you, give this a go! And if you get get it for a deal on Hautelook or elsewhere, even better!
I bought this in Nourishing Nude. LOVE! This is a great add to the tinted lip balm/butter market that's all the rage right now. Feels smooth and creamy on the lips. Lasts quite awhile before you have to reapply. Colour payoff is good! LOVE the smell, smells like vanilla cupcakes to me. And I love the packaging, very chic and classy for a lip balm. The only downsize is it's pricy for tinted lipbalm, at almost $12.00 CAD, it's worth it to wait for them to go on sale. (I think I got mine for $6.00 on sale). Can't wait to try more colours!
BB Cream -Too Faced - Tinted Beauty Balm Multi-Benefit Skin Care Makeup
TheresaK 8/7/2012 10:58:00 AM
I bought this product in Vanilla Glow. I'm an NW 15. I found this to be very yellow based and a little dark. I wasn't a fan of the texture of this either. It felt thick and greasy on my skin and was hard to blend in to the skin. And I could feel it on my skin throughout the day, like it never really sank in or something. Did give pretty good coverage as far as BB creams go. and lasted through the day. Maybe if the colour matched better I'd give it another go, but I think it's a pass for me.
Lip Treatments -Maybelline - Baby Lips in Cherry Me
TheresaK 6/11/2012 8:37:00 PM
This as a balm is AWFUL. Feels greasy and not moisturizing at all. I feel like I need to reapply after 30mins. Colour payoff for a tinted balm though is actually quite nice, but too bad that's not enough to overcome the greasy lip feeling.
Mascara -Maybelline - Illegal Lengths Mascara (2011)
TheresaK 5/21/2012 7:51:00 PM
I have to say this mascara isn't half bad! I have short and sparse (read: terrible) lashes so I'm always trying new mascaras to find my HG. While this isn't it, I would buy it again if it was on sale. At first I wasn't sure, but the more I used it the more I liked it. I don't know that the fibres I see on the brush actually attached to make my lases longer. But I did notice increased length and nice definition. And it's really nice and black. I like the wand because it actually can grip my teeny lashes and coat them, unlike all these new rubbery wands that are saturating the market. And I've been using this tube for about 2 months now and I haven't noticed any drying out yet. This mascara also doesn't smudge or flake off halfway through the day, although I think it might if it was really hot and you were a little "glowy" lol All in all, it's pretty good! I like it :)
