Treatments -Desert Essence - Tea Tree Oil (100% Pure Australian)
TheBunnyGeek 11/3/2012 3:55:00 PM
This is the best tea tree oil you can buy. Seriously, it makes all the difference in your skin or your health. I initially started to use tea tree oil as a spot treatment for my pimples, and then realized that I could use it for dandruff and other health issues. It smells AMAZING. It smells fresh, and clean and doesn't feel gross going on your skin. I bought it for 16$CAN, and didn't realize that the quality you get with Desert Essence is beyond amazing. I ran out, couldn't find any, and bought a random drugstore brand. It's beyond gross and for the first time I realize why people hate the smell of some tea tree oil. It's insanely gross. I can't wait to get my hands on this again!

Self Tanners -L'Oreal - Sublime Bronze Airbrush-Effect Dry Mist BODY
TheBunnyGeek 5/26/2011 9:38:00 AM
Wow. Streaky as heck! Totally not newbie friendly! The can is so difficult to spray, my arms hurt the next day. All the tutorials on fake-tanning said application is one of the key things to getting an even fake tan. Well, this product makes it so difficult that you're going to end up with splotches (or in my case, STRIPES). Oh well. Back to gradual lotions for me.

Fragrances -Moschino - Hippy Fizz

For the longest time, I clutched to a sample vial of this perfume like it was the cure for the common cold. I adoooored it, and when it was finally done, my soul cried. Very quickly, I have a terrible nose. I can't tell what kind of perfume I like, and it really just confuses me when I have to wear a perfume. Also, after wearing too much jasmine essential oil one day to class, I've been terrified of offending people with my perfume choices. This is the scent that solves that. It's clean, summery, and everything great. I can wear it to work without having to feel like I'm going to give myself a headache. Only downside? It doesn't last long, and it's not a very "sexy" perfume. But still, give it a whiff!

Misc Beauty Tools -Gillette - Venus Bikini Trimmer razor
TheBunnyGeek 4/16/2011 10:45:00 PM
Oh my goodness. This little cheap trimmer has caused me so much pain for the last three days! I don't know why. Maybe I was doing it wrong, maybe I'm not a good candidate. But it has left my bikini area a total warzone. It trims it too damn short, to the point that my boyfriend was like, "Ouuch. It scratches!". Also, I haven't been able to wear proper fitting jeans lately, because the pressure makes it unbelievably itchy! I can't believe something that seemed like such a savior left me totally near tears!

Lip Gloss -Guerlain - Crystal Pearl #800
TheBunnyGeek 4/16/2011 8:25:00 PM
I'm truly lucky to live in a city that has annual Guerlain sales at their warehouses. This is absolutely terrific! My mom picked it out for me, and normally I've been shying away from lip glosses because they turn out too sticky. Not this one! It is absolutely perfect. It feels like, soft and moisturizing like the Rosebud salve. And the colour goes with everything. It's clear, but makes my lips look plump and oh-so-Scarlett Johansson.

Treatments -John Frieda - Go Blonder Lightening Spray
TheBunnyGeek 4/16/2011 2:32:00 PM
THIS IS A REVIEW FOR THE ENTIRE GO BLONDER SYSTEM. So, I finally tried the Go Blonder Shampoo, Conditioner, and Lightening Spray. After bleaching and cutting off all my bottle black hair (long story, I went from highlighted blonde to magenta to blue-black), I started to grow my natural hair back, expecting some sort of Christmas miracle. Well, it wasn't. I didn't take into account that I'm older, and that my wheat-blonde hair was more dark ash blonde. I scrambled for solutions (even considered bleaching it all again), when I spotted this. The system is subtle, but definitively works. I used to (ab)use Sun In when I was 14, and this is not the same effect. While it didn't change my colour the first time, after a couple of uses my friends started to notice. It's like, a trip to the beach for your hair. My ashy blonde is now more golden, without tons of brassy tones. It's terrific! The shampoo is a little odd, and has the consistency of... pudding. It's really thick, and actually thicker than the conditioner! Like most people here, I'm scared for the day that this no longer exists. I'm going to have to hoard it until then.

Mascara -Rimmel - Lash Accelerator
TheBunnyGeek 2/8/2011 9:35:00 AM
I have a general rule at the drugstore: if I don't know which mascara I want to buy when I'm there (I'm not totally in love with one or undecided), I grab the one that's on sale. And boy, am I ever glad this one was on sale! I picked it up in Canada for about 7$, and this stuff works! All my lashes are ridiculously long! It took about 30-40 days, but wow! My lashes are so long that I can feel the ones closest to my nose brushing against it! Only con about this product is that it doesn't give me more lashes. My lashes are long, but I wish they were more voluminous. Oh well, it still gets 5/5 from meeee!
