Self Tanners -Banana Boat - Summer Color Sunless Lotion Deep Dark

Love, love, love! I'm so white, i'm see through and this gives me amazing color! This was my very first time using a self tanner and I couldn't be happier. I started by doing the traditional exfoliating and slathering up any rough spots with lotion (thanks to reviews and how-to's teaching me how.) Then, with rubber gloves I applied everywhere, like a thick lotion. I applied in circular motions and after it was all absorbed, I would smooth over with an upward motion. The next morning, I opened the door to be able to see in natural sunlight and loved the color. I did notice spots I missed, but there was no blotching or streaking. That night, I did another coat, but without the gloves, because they ended up hurting when I was at the end of rubbing the lotion in. I kept face wash wipes next to me, so whenever I finished with a body part, I would wipe my hands down. I found washing my hands would leave drip marks on my tan, because of water that had splashed on me. And this was easier. I also did my face. When I was completely done, I took the face wash wipes and went over my elbows, ankles, inner arms, knuckles and between my fingers and toes. The next morning my tan looked incredible. No missing spots and a much deeper tan. My hands were also nice and not orange and because of the face wash wipes, the tan didn't settle into rough spots that I wiped down afterwards. By this time, the smell of the tan was a little strong, but definitely not horrible. That night, I took my first shower, using a very soft washcloth and long, even strokes on my body. When I got out, I patted dry. And let me say, my tan looked even better! Extremely natural. I loved it! Also, it faded very nice and even and lasted well over a week. I also had no breakouts on my face. I'm definitely in love with this self-tanner!

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Mega Plush Waterproof
TeenieWoo88 6/21/2012 9:28:00 PM
I'll start by saying this isn't a horrible mascara. The huge thing I really disliked, was the brush. When I apply mascara, I start at the root of my eyelashes and wiggle the brush and pull it up to the lip of my eyelashes. With the brush having some kind of flexi-bend in the middle of it, it doesn't have enough structure to it, to be able to do that. No matter how much you push down, the flexi-bend part continues to push the actual brush up. It feels very flimsy. Even when I get to the tip of my eyelashes and pull through, the entire want vibrates, because of the flexi-bend in the middle, which seems like it's made of rubber. The actual brush is nice, though. It really separates the lashes and defines each one of them. I didn't really see anything special about the formula itself. It didn't give me volume, but maybe a little length. It's a nice, rich black, though. What I do like about the mascara, it's definitely not brittle in the least. It's very, very light. No matter how many coats I applied, it stayed light and didn't clump. There's also no strong smell from the mascara. If I were to use this mascara again, I think it would continue to be perfect for Summer days/nights, where you want a little bit of makeup, that's not heavy and won't wear off (because it's waterproof). It makes your lashes look light and airy, which is a nice change for me, because I usually like my lashes to look almost fake. So, I think this is perfect for Summer, or on those days where you want a light makeup job. I don't think i'd purchase it again, though. It didn't have any kind of 'wow' factor.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum Express The Falsies Flared
TeenieWoo88 2/3/2012 9:12:00 PM
I'm a little shocked this got such low stars. I LOVE this mascara, even more than the original Falsies. I wonder if people are using it wrong, because I did the first time, until I examined the brush. I'm not sure if they put this on the back of the package, but i'll share anyways. If you look at the brush, it's not round. It's actually flat on both sides. The top of the brush has a hump and the bottom is curved inward. To use it correctly, all you have to do is put the mascara on with the FLAT SIDE of the brush and it incredible how much of a difference it makes. I was literally saying 'Wow' at what it did and that takes a lot for me to be wowed by a product. You take the inward curved part and wiggle it down into the root of the eyelashes, then when you pull the brush up, you make sure the FLAT SIDE is the part that is on your lashes. Before I let my lashes get dry, I apply a couple more coats and it was amazing. I uploaded a picture, too. The only downside is that the mascara flakes a little bit, but that's something I can deal with. I will most definitely be purchasing this again. :)
