According to the website this is a cream that you apply to your face after lotion and press in with the palm of your hand? I don't know... It smells like fake apples and soap. Its kinda greasy in that it leaves your face with a bit of a shine to it. It absorbs quickly but leaves your skin feeling tacky. Is it moisturizing? Not anymore than your average facial moisturizer. I really don't like that it came in a jar, would have much more preferred a pump. I haven't finished the jar. Its gone into the bin. I cant stand the smell or how it feels and I just don't feel like its doing anything to my skin. This is my second and last skin foods products that I have purchased.

Brows -NYX - Eyebrow Cake Powder Taupe/Ash

I would repurchase this product unless I find something better in the meantime. The problem for me is that my hair is brown but my eyebrows are more of an ash light brown. Most of the time when I use a brown brow pencil its too warm and my brows look reddish. Most brown pencils also tend to be too dark as my skin is quite pale. So far, in terms of colouring this product has been the best. I use the lighter colour of the two as this makes my brows look most natural. I dont use the wax so much. I only use the little comb brush from this kit, the other brush is hopeless. Would love to find a product that ticks all the boxes when it comes to my brows, however, this one has been the closest so far.

Concealers -NYX - Full Coverage Concealer Jar - Yellow

I was really disappointed with this product. I found it gave minimal coverage at best. This product definitely glides on. Its smooth but it doesn't counter my very dark purple areas. A little to much blending and this product disappears off my skin but remains settled in any lines and pores. Its very light in colour. I have very pale skin and very dark areas under my eyes. It acts almost like a highlighter on my skin and a minimal concealer on the dark areas which actually makes them stand out even more. I don't understand why this products is so sheer. I have tried different ways of applying it and it doesn't seem to get any better..

I suffer from cystic acne (which is more or less under control these days). I need to use sunscreen everyday especially since I live in Australia. When I was looking for a sunscreen, I was really scared of picking one that would cause me to break out, I didn't want to end up with a white cast and I wanted something that would absorbs really fast. This sunscreen is amazing. Its hydrating, non-greasy and light. It absorbs really well and really fast. I have no problems applying makeup over it. Smells lovely and does not cause breakouts (for me at least). It is $45 for 100ml (3.52oz) but it is worth it. If you are undecided go to the mecca website and read the reviews.

Shampoo -Joico - K-PAK Chelating Shampoo

I use an organic/natural shampoo all month long but I have incorporated this shampoo into my routine about twice a month. I love organic but when I use hair products my hair starts to seem a bit heavy after a while.. I wanted something that would really clarify my hair and this does the trick. I used to use redkin products religiously but my hair became dry, frizzy, dull and unmanageable. So of course I would add more products to fix those issues without ever stopping to think that perhaps it was my shampoo that was the problem. I switched to an organic shampoo and even from the first wash my hair already became softer and more shiny. After a week it was hardly frizzy anymore and so smooth. I have been organic for 2 years now and no longer need to use products that add shine and cut down friz and make hair sleek. After using Joico Chelating Shampoo, my hair is more bouncy and really light. Its also really really shiny. On the down side I need to wash my hair sooner the next time as it gets oily quicker and I had forgotten how much shampoo burns when it gets in your eye.. haha... the worst my organic shampoo can do is make my eye feel minty fresh... it also feels a little drier. I wouldn't use this product more often as I feel my hair may become damaged again but I will definitely be sticking to this routine for now as it seems to be working for me.

Mascara -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Mascara

A lot of people are saying this mascara doesn't dry but what I find is that this mascara doesn't have a stiff plastic feeling like many other mascaras. It doesn't remain wet, in the sense that if you touch it 10 minutes after applying it transfers to your finger. it does dry but it can still be easily removed. You can gently pull on your lashes it will just come off. For me, it holds about 75% of a curl. It lasts about 7-8 hours before it crumbles which is fine for me on most days. When I need a longer lasting mascara I switch to something else. What has been amazing about this mascara is that I grew more lashes. I bought it and used it for a month and noticed significantly more lashes. I didn't know would actually do this when I bought it but the website confirms it. Now I'm scared to stop using it in case my lashes go back to how they were :o/ I love my fuller, longer lashes. what to do?

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

I find this to be a simple everyday mascara. It applies easily and gives a clean finish. Its not waterproof but it lasts all day at work and doesn't flake. It doesn't extend or thickness lashes so much, it just emphasizes the lashes you already have. I think this makes it a good everyday mascara if you want more of a clean, natural look. My organic make-up removes fails to removes it as well as this works-5 in 1 cleansing water. It needs something slightly stronger.

Foundations -Everyday Minerals - Jojoba Base

I had previously used a glo base as well as a semi-matte base. This is definitely my favorite. I have it in natural ivory and it goes perfectly with my fair skin with pink undertones. It doesn't look cakey and gives my skin an instant glow. It blends into my skin really well and looks like I'm not wearing foundation at all. I don't find it very buildable so a good concealer is a must for blemishes.

I like this product but not for the price. I have been using this moisturizer every day for over a month now. Good - smells devine like vanilla and smell lingers all day - absorbs quickly, very light - stops most of my skin drying out in the winter Bad - don't like the speckles of who-knows-what that float in the cream - i have really dry knees and elbows. they remain dry even with daily use. - overall condition of my skin hasn't changed/improved with cream i have keratosis pilaris and just general unevenness in the skin on my legs. it looks the same today in terms of red marks as it did over a month ago only less dry. i feel like i could get something better that does more to benefit my skin particularly the areas that remain dry. i will finish the jar but i wont be repurchasing.

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

This is only the second eye primer I have used. My eyeshadow definitely looks richer with this primer underneath when I apply it, however, it doesn't last all day. After about 6 hours its almost all gone. I will not be buying this product again only because I have realised that my eyelids are quite oily and I need something with more staying power. I would like something that can get me through a full day of work. On the plus side, I have sensitive skin and wear contacts. I have not had any problems using this product and I think it would work better for those with drier skin. The purple paint is also coming off my bottle.

Concealers -Skinfood - Salmon Darkcircle Concealer

I have fair/light skin so I got the number 1 concealer. The result was ok. The concealer blends out to almost nothing so the coverage is really minimal at best. Set with powder for a little more coverage. I don't like is how the product smells. It has that make-upy-perfumey smell. I have since purchased a Collections 2000 concealer which I am extremely pleased with.

Shampoo -Batiste - Dry Shampoo

I had tried a few dry shampoos before and I have to say that I like this one the best. You can pick from a variety of scents but honestly I like the good old original! I have brown hair and this stuff brushes out completely. Other brands always left me with little white speckles like I had a dry scalp. My hair always looks clean and shiny after using this. I like to spray it mainly in the areas that matter most which are: the part, sides of my hair in about 2-3 rows and around my face. I leave it for about 30 seconds, then massage it around, then brush. Done!

This is first lip butter I have purchased and I have since purchased another in a different colour. I do like the lip butters as they don't dry out my lips and don't have an overpowering smell. On me this colour is very similar to my natural lips which are already rather pink. I find that the lip butter gives my lips a more sparkly intense pink colour which I like. It doesn't look fake and I find its good as an everyday product.

This set comes in three colours, Champagne, Pewter and Black. Nothing too special about the black (has a little sparkle), Pewter is lovely but the Champagne is amazing!!!! I would repurchase the whole pack just for another Champagne! Its easy to apply, doesn't smudge, stays on for hours. I have very light skin and sometimes I find black eyeliner is just too harsh. Champagne and pewter are perfect for giving a softer look. The packaging is really nice and glossy, it definitely give the impression of a higher end product. I got mine on eBay for $14 including shipping.

Lip Treatments -Paula's Choice - Lip and Body Treatment Balm

I got this product with the lip perfecting scrub in a pack for $16. I use it after the scrub and at first I was a little skeptical. The packaging is not of the highest quality but also not of the worst. I fear the lid may crack easily if I drop the product so I'm being careful. Once opened the balm looks like any other except that its hard. Its almost like a wax. I find that I have to warm it up by rubbing it with my finger a little. Once it is on lips, I love it. Its smooth and so moisturizing. Its not shiny or glossy, my lips just look like they are full of moisture. A little product also goes a long way. It doesn't move around and it doesn't clog the pores around my lips either. Love it.
