Mascara -MAC - Haute & Naughty Lash Too

I am a very picky Mascara person. I love Mascara and am always on the search for the best one. I already loved the regular Haute & Naughty Lash and have already gone through 2 tubes of that. When I went to the MAC counter recently to find that they now have Haute & Nauty Too(darker black) I was ecstatic!!!! This is the deepest pigmented mascara that also happens the make my lashes their longest and most volumized at the same time. I will repurchase again and again!

Moisturizers -Estee Lauder - Hydrationist Maximum Moisture Creme

I have been using this creme for over 2 weeks now and I see a noticible difference in my skins appearance and texture. I got this in a kit with the advanced night repair serum and eye cream. It's a bit on the greasy side of creams but it absorbs nicely into the skin. I will definitely be buying again!

Lipstick -L'Oreal - Colouriche Lipstick Pink Flush

I prefer lipsticks that are not too heavy or thick but that have some staying power. This lipstick is just that. It isn't too opaque...it's kind of sheer which I like. I bought the color Pink Flush which is a light cool toned almost lilac pink. I love it! Even though the formula is rather sheer it stays on for a few hours. Its just the right amount of moisture in it.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Lots of Lashes

This is such an amazing product for the price. This mascara holds it own against higher end ones like Youngblood, MAC, Lancome and Estee Lauder. The new little pink wand and revamped formula makes for a low cost wonder of a mascara. You must go out and get this as you will not regret it. Best bargain buy in my makeup kit and I probably use it more than anything else in my collection.

This Mascara is wonderful! It separates well, builds volume and lengthens all equally. The pigment in the Very Black is great. I like dark Black mascaras and this fits the bill. The formula is a bit wet but dries nicely. Overall I am very pleased with this and has a pleasant scent to it.

I have been on a long hunt for the perfect mascara. I really like the dramatic look and love mascaras with alot of black pigment. I usually go for the ones with Extreme Black, etc. This mascara is exactly what I have been looking for. I don't use the pink natural wand. I only use the purple, dramatic one. The pink one is good for separating after you have already put most of it on. I would definitely repurchase. I am in love!

Liquid -MAC - Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15

I love this stuff but wish it came with a pump. I could have bought it for 7 bucks but didn't. Now I wish I had. OH well, next bottle I will. I wear NW20 and it is a perfect match for my skin. It has a heavy feel to it and I have not had any breakouts yet. I am very happy with this product. Update: I had to return the product as my skin started to break out! :(

Mascara -MAC - False Lashes

I bought this product with the MAC prep and Prime. I have been using it with the primer, but I started using it by itself this morning and I think it actually looks better without it. This mascara give a natural, yet dramatic, feathery type of look. The formula goes on nice and creamy but dries fast. You can add a few coats for extra drama, but actually looks just fine with just one coat. I like the one alot! Update: I just bought MAC Haute and Naughty and it is WAY better than this one. Check it out ladies! It does however depend on what look you are shooting for. False Lashes does indeed give extreme length but if you are looking for drama than go for H & N.

Mascara -Flirt - Far Out Lengthening Mascara

I wanted to try this mascara because I had never tried this type of wand before. The formula is very wet. This is good because it gives you a long time to work and sculpt and shape with. Once it's dry though.......IT'S DRY! It dried super hard. i did find that the formula weighed down my lashes more than any other formula I have ever used. I have naturally curly eyelashes so I didn't think it was possible to straighten my lashes out but this formula kinda of did that. I did like the look I got. This mascara is wonderful if you want extra super long...almost false lash like length. It is not the most volumizing/thickening formula though. The wand definitely takes some getting used to and by all means do not poke your eye out with the wand like I did one morning before work. THIS FORMULA BURNS THE HELL OUT OF YOUR EYES! I have gotten mascara in my eyes many times with almost every mascara I have tried and none of them have ever burned like this one so beware. I would not repurchase but will enjoy using it while it lasts.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara Blackest Black

A few of my friends use this mascara and have for years. I had bought it before and recently revisited it. I am glad that I did because for $5.50 it does a great job. I had previously been using a Youngblood Mascara and this works just as good if not better! The formula is wet but buildable. Update - I just bought the new one with the pink rubber wand/brush. The formula is amazing and so is the brush. For $5 this works just as well as some $20 or $30 high end mascaras that I have used. If you purchase this I know you will be pleasantly surprised. The new brush takes a little getting used to but it catches every little lash and lengthens beyond my expectations. I'm super happy with this item, especially given the low price.

I had done a bit of research on EL Mascaras before buying this and I really like it. It's a drier formula, not clumpy at all and the pigment is great. I bought this based on all of the good reviews it got on MUA and I am super duper pleased with this product.

Styling Products -Matrix - curl.life contouring cream thick/coarse hair

I have super curly hair that is a few inches past my shoulders. I have fine but thick hair. I have a poodle curl. This product separated my curls with the least amount of frizz that I have ever experienced. I used it with the Matrix Curl Life Spiraling gel and reactivator. I am very please at the result of tonights expirement. I just want to be able to wake up in the morning and quickly reactivate my curls and throw them up in a clip for a classy up do for working in the corporate cosmetics world. I will update after to try to fix my bed head in the morning with the reactivator. Update: My experiment failed terribly this morning. The reactivator had a really strong alcohol smell and left a strange film on my hair. I think I just had WAY to much product in my hair altogether. I ended up returned all the products to Rite Aid after work today. I will say though that the contouring cream is the best product I have ever used for anti-frizz and curl definition. If I ever decide that I'm going to try wearing my hair curly again I would repurchase that product only.

Lip Gloss -Wet 'n' Wild - Glassy Gloss Lip Gel in Poppy Glaze

I had read all the reviews on the glassy gloss in refelction and how great a dupe it is of MAC lipglass. I bought it today in Poppy glaze. I do not think it is at all comparable to MAC lipglass. It is not nearly as shiny or sticky as I had anticipated. It did not have the staying power that everyone said it has. It only last for one hour and it was off. I was anticipating it being super sticky.....well at least for me it wasn't sticky enough. UPDATE *I like this gloss more than I had orginally. After seeing it in natural lighting(not under a flourescent light in my office) I was surprised at how shiny this stuff really is. I still do not like the taste or smell....smells like cough syrup. The bottom line.....I've decided that this gloss was worth the $2.99 I paid for it.

I love this pallette! My favorite shadow is Midnight Cowboy rides again and Midnight Cowgirl. Just a bright beautiful glizty fun arrangement of colors.

Powder -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation

Before trying this foundation I had never used a mineral powder before except for Neutrogena Mineral Sheers which did not provide enough coverage for me. The Bare Naturale powder provides flawless coverage with a weighless feel. It has definite staying power. It hardly fades throughout the day and when I go to wash my face before bed I am amazed at how flawless and glowing I still look. It's as if I just put it on 2 minutes ago! I love this stuff! It is fast and easy. The brush it comes with is horrible and makes the powder go on way to heavy and uneven. but with a larger better quality brush putting this stuff on is a breeze. I found the names of the colors to be a bit misleading. For Example I wear Buff Beige and I am at my tannest golden brown for the summer. So that part I don't quite understand. As most fair skinned people know, "Buff" usually refers to a very light shade. Not in this case! For the winter I use Nude Beige. All in all I am very pleased with this foundation as a year round option!
