Foundations -Guerlain - Fleur de Teint Foundation [DISCONTINUED]

I have tried lots of foundations and just picked this up on impulse one day. I have pale skin with yellow undertones, even though I tend to blush easily and turn bright red in hot weather. Pink based foundations look awful on me. I picked up Beige Clair 520, which is a little dark for me in mid-winter, but blends really nicely. This foundation turned out to be the best I have ever owned. I have the 'Ultra mat' version which has a mat finish, but doesn't look powdery, it sits really nicely on the skin and blends into it, so I end up with a semi-mat finish on my skin. I wear a bit of powder over it and then add a luminous bronzer. I have received many many compliments on my beautiful complexion- if only they could see me pre-makeup! It also has SPF15 in it. I really like the pump top bottle which is plastic and difficult to break (I tend to drop things). The only concern I have is that there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of foundation in the bottle and I think I will use this up more quickly than I usually do with foundations- it's hard to tell how much you have left due to the packaging. Overall, this is the only foundation I would re-purchase again and again.
Moisturizers -Aesop - Primrose Facial Hydrating Cream

I received a sample of this and I couldn't squeeze enough out of the packet. It really does make my skin feel smooth and the light rose smell is calming. Because its thicker than my usual moisturisers I think I would wear it as a night cream. I will definately be purchasing a full size soon.
I had to write a review after I saw that someone else noticed the orange prescriptives MA's! It's difficult to build trust with a MA who has mismatched her own shade!! Anyway, the foundation is really beautiful, sheer and natural- it kind of melts into your skin.
