This is from a new collection of eye makeup (liners, mascaras, and shadows) that is divided into shades that are supposed to enhance your eye color - green, blue, brown, and hazel. I bought the trio for green eyes. It consists of a plum shade for the lid, a dark forest green for the crease, and a light green for the highlighter. I was skeptical .... first, i wasn't sure if green and purple would go together as far as makeup is concerned, plus I had never worn green shadow before. I'm loving this e/s trio! They are well pigmented, and wear well --- 12 hours with minimal creasing or fading. I've also received many compliments on my makeup since I've starting wearing this combination, which makes it all even more awesome! :)
Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Strawberries 'n Cream Swirl Gloss Lip Smacker

It tastes yummy, and leaves a light gloss on the lips. I find it more moisturizing than other Lipsmackers I've tried. I love the clip, I have it on my keychain so I always have it with me. Definitely a repurchase!

Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Schick Intuition razor

I wasn't sure if I'd like this, but I do. The solid seems to be lasting a bit longer for me than previous reviewers. It has taken me a few tries to get used to it, but since then, I have have achieved close shaves. I've no problems with razor bumps or nicks or cuts, which I seem to get with every other razor.
Lotions/ Creams -Queen Helene - Cocoa Butter Hand and Body Lotion
TallicaMommy 6/18/2004 10:04:00 PM
I bought a huge 32 oz. bottle of this for $2.49. It does smell yummy, it reminds me of summer and the cheap suntan lotion I used to use growing up. It moisturizes just right for my skin when the weather is warm and humid, but I probably wouldn't want to use this in the winter, it wouldn't be enough then. I do agree that the packaging would be better with a pump. But for the price, can't be beat! :)
Hair Color -L'Oreal - Couleur Experte -hair dye / highlight

I'm not sure why so many people have such a bad experience with this. I've tried 4 of the shades, the latest being Vanilla Swirl, a medium iridescent blonde. The results are beautiful highlights, and my hair is not orange or dried out at all. Maybe it works best with blonde hair?
Lipstick -Maybelline - Wet Shine Diamonds - Pink Topaz
TallicaMommy 5/18/2004 8:27:00 AM
This is a very pretty, YLBB warm pink with shimmer. A coppery/bronze pink. It is not very lasting on my lips, but it's so pretty, and so inexpensive, I don't mind reapplying often!
Lip Gloss -Bonne Bell - Lip Lites Shiny Stix in Mocha Mousse
TallicaMommy 4/23/2004 12:52:00 PM
A very pretty rosy-nude shade, which applies smoothly and is beautifully shiny. I also purchased it in the combo pack mentioned before (an added bonus, it was on clearance at Target for under $3!). It lasts a good while, too, which is nice.
This is a very pretty coral shade, with a hint of gold shimmer. I was so surprised by how long it lasted, especially for a gloss! It applied smoothly, which can be a challenge with some pigmented glosses. It does have a very strong artificial fruity smell/taste, but it fades quickly.
This is one of the better foundations that I've tried. I really like the pump packaging, much less messy than liquid foundations in bottles alone. I am PPP/FFF, and usually tend to be a neutral skin tone, but Ivory is a great match for me. I don't find it to be too pink. The coverage isn't sheer on me, but not medium, like other reviewers have stated. I work in a restaurant, and it stayed put despite being around things like deep fryers all day. I did have shine after a while, but then, I think that would happen no matter what foundation I tried. I had no problem washing it off at night, either. I used my usual cleanser, and that was enough. I will update if I experience any breakouts.UPDATE: Yep, it broke me out. Very badly. Lots of white heads everywhere. I don't usually break out from makeup either. Which is too bad, I really liked a lot of aspects of this foundation.
Eye Shadow -New York Color - Sparkle Eye Dust - Smokey Topaz
TallicaMommy 4/2/2004 12:54:00 PM
I have not had luck with loose eyeshadows in the past, but I really like these. Smokey Rose, on me, is a shimmery taupe/plum shade. It does not have a lot of pigment, but it's nice as a browbone highlight, or a light wash. Good for a no-makeup, makeup look. I'm planning on checking out some of the other shades, also
Lip Gloss -New York Color - Liquid Lip Shine in Sungold Pink
TallicaMommy 4/2/2004 12:49:00 PM
This is a very pretty peach/pink gloss with a touch of gold shimmer. It's a bit frosty for me, but may not seem so much if used sparingly. It tastes and smells nasty, like a chemically rose. But it's cheap, and a pretty shade, especially for spring and summer.
Eye Shadow -New York Color - Sparkle Eye Dust - Champagne

I have not had luck with loose eyeshadows in the past, but I really like these. I have the shade Champagne, and on me it's a shimmery peach. Eyeliner -Jordana - Color XTend Eyeliner in Morning Coffee [DISCONTINUED]
TallicaMommy 3/31/2004 9:35:00 AM
This is the first Jordana Color Xtend eyeliner I've tried, but after my experience with this one, I'm heading to Walgreens to pick up some more! Pencil eyeliners usually are dry and tug at your skin.. not these! This is a deep brown color. It stays put! It is a bit tricky to sharpen, because the "lead" of the pencil is so soft, but a little time in the freezer helps before sharpening!
