I pretty much hated this when I first tested it. It was completely bizarre, all I got was a super sharp soapiness and some rose, nothing that even comes close to being sexy. Then on a whim, I tried it again today, and it smells like a completely different fume from the 1st time, and I'm liking it more and more as I test. The soap has been replaced by something mildly spicy, I almost get a incense note in there, that makes a nice contrast to the rose. Overall, this is a dark/dirty rose that actually might not be appropriate to wear to certain settings. I would say this is definitely a night-time, special occasion fume. Or just anytime you feel sexy.

This is a perfume that only smells good on me after 1 hour of it being on my skin. The first hour is a headache-inducing screeching of lemon/bergamot/bitter orange notes. Literally makes me slightly nauseous. Then when the topnotes fade off and the perfume mellows into the skin, it's one of the loveliest skin scents I've smelt. Then half an hour later it vanishes without a trace. Save your $$ and go for L de Lolita Lempicka, which is more lemon in the topnotes than orange, but longer lasting and doesn't give such bad headaches.

Decent hydration, however the masking fragrance is pretty obvious and annoys me quite a bit. It's a very synthetic plasticky scent. Might seem sticky/greasy initially, but takes a little time to sink in. Also, really don't like the screw top tube, a flip-top would be much better.
This is a rather foody scent to me due to the coconut, but it;s the coconut that takes the edge off the sometimes piercing opium note. Comforting and sweet. Nice sillage too.
Am pretty underwhelmed by this, given how much I love the face cleanser. Am beginning to realise that my body skin loves natural butters/oils, ie, shea, and these more synthetic moisturizers just don't work for my skin. I liked that this stuff sank in fast even if I slathered it on. Didn't leave my skin sticky/greasy so was able to use it in the day. However the hydration leaves much to be desired. The fragrance-free thing was great too, didn't have weird chemical smells like other fragrance-free moisturizers, but will not be repurchasing again.
I'm a huge fan of the Vanilla Musk from this line, so I've been ordering samples of their other fragrances. This smells exactly like The Body Shop White Musk, maybe slightly less sillage. However since I had an allergic reaction to TBS's White Musk products, this would make a good substitute. Clean, simple, comfy, yet energized, this is how this scent makes me feel.
Lovely even though it's only a single-note perfume. Extremely lasting on me with impressive sillage. It starts off with all the carroty/rooty/damp earth weirdness that is iris, after about 10 seconds, all that disappears and it morphs into a very pleasant, tart but not overtly green floral. It seems perfect for those girls/women who are between well, being girls and women, mature, feminine, without being TOO mature, or trying to be someone you are not. Full bottle worthy for me.
All I get from this is vanilla, and strangely, ginger? I don't get any of the spiciness that previous reviewers mentioned. Am not a ginger fan, so this is not for me.
A rare love-on-first-sniff. Got a decant in a swap and now absolutely have to get a full bottle. It seems what I truly love are comfort scents, even though I was trying to be all dark and mysterious by sampling all the dark and mysterious scents :) This stuff is so soothing and extremely long lasting - more than 5 hours and I was still catching whiffs of it. Agree that the bottle is verging on the vulgar, but anyone wanna help me with a reliable Ebay seller that sells this authentic?

I bought a small tube of this to try. Like the fresh, clean scent that fades after a few minutes, but really didn't see anything special about this lotion. After applying, it feels sticky for a short while, and then it absorbs into the skin, leaving you matte and dry later. Standard, average hydration. Nothing great for me to repurchase after my tube finishes.
I was sent an extremely generous swap package containing this. Unfortunately, some of it had leaked out, which basically meant the whole package and even all the decant bottles smelt of this oil. Even the box unopened smelt of this. Immediately, I had to find out what I was smelling, I fell in love with it that fast. The whole package contained some pretty damn formidable and gorgeous scents, Guerlain, Frederic Malle, Hermes, etc. But once I found out what I was smelling is this, I immediately had to place an order online. I guess that was a really roundabout way of saying this stuff is heaven to me. It's a skin scent, and obviously has very impressive sillage given I could smell it thru the cardboard box. This is definitely a comfort scent, I get more musk than vanilla, but combined, I can't describe it, it's perfect. Seems to be very lasting. Main thing is, like Serge Lutens Un Bois Vanille and Chergui to a certain extent, this stuff makes me feel calm and comforted. I haven't found anything else that produces the same effect on me besides these three. The absolute best part is the super low price. I just had to order two roll ons for me to carry everywhere, together with a whole bunch of samples. And here I was gasping at the FM prices just earlier on in the day. Dare I say, HG?
Hmm. I guess I've been taking these must-try classics lists too seriously. I swapped for this only because this was on the beginners list on Perfume Posse :) All I get from this is jasmine and the famous fecal note. Thank god I decided to be conservative and spray on a tissue and not myself. I know, it doesn't really count, and this is not the right way to test perfumes, but I already know I can't take this. Seriously, this nearly turned my stomach. I think classics and me just don't fit.
This is a very masculine scent to me. Wanted to try this only because it was a top seller at Perfume Shopee. Starts out with an extremely green, almost raw-food note, that fades after awhile. A little too tart/masculine for me.
Sorry, but all this reminded me of was car air freshener, tart and kinda in-your-face. I only got unripe grapefruit notes and nothing much else.

A green, fresh but still pretty floral. It's safe and not overwhelming or inaccessible. Reminds me of something my Mum used to wear, but this is the "light" or "summer" version.
