Crème -Laura Mercier - Crème Smooth Foundation

OMG, this foundation is my Holy Grail (and yes, it does deserve the capitals!) If Laura Mercier ever discontinues this i may never go out in public again lol. Seriously, i love it. A little really does do your whole face, and once blended it sort of becomes so natural looking and lovely :D Ok, it is expensive (£41.50 for a pot) but it's going to last ages and it's sooo amazing. It's thick and creamy and perfect for dry skin like mine which usually flakes. Nor does it irritate my sensitive skin. And even my Mother complimented me on it, and she NEVER does this. It's always too pink or too powdery or too watery or too streaky or the wrong bloody colour! So this is perfect for me.

Liquid -Revlon - ColorStay Makeup - Ivory

I think I may have found my HG foundation! Yes, seriously! Oh, of course it's not going to work for everyone. It depends on your skin type, colour, blah blah blah. But for me it works. The colour matches me so perfectly. Ok, so I am ridiculously pale but often get red patches on my dry, sensitive skin. This foundation covers all of that (it's good coverage, and buildable) and isn't too yellow, too pink or too neutral for me.The normal - dry formula is so good for me... very moisturising and no flaking thank god... something which the last 5 foundations I have used all did to me! So yes, there are bad points. It is a very thin consistency, but luckily my brush is big enough to put some on without it going everywhere. And I wish the bottle had a pump. The Mac one doesn't fit, and Revlon don't even sell pumps individually... but still, for a product that matches my skin so well that it's hard to tell i'm actually wearing foundation, i'll live without one. And if i do get desperate i'll transfer it to a bottle with a pump. Finally, you have to accept that you have to blend thoroughly but fast! This is not a foundation you can shove on 2 minutes before you head out the door. You have some serious blending to do in the application process, and make sure you apply it to one area of your face at a time instead of all over. For me though, the extra time invested in putting it on makes it last basically all day, doesn't make my skin flaky or look cakey, and makes my skin look like my actual skin, but just so much better! And it's not expensive either. Yes there are cheaper foundations out there, but it's worth a try, especially if all other foundations seem to dark or yellow on you!

Lotions/ Creams -Jergens - Skin Firming Moisturizer

Firstly, I live in the UK so use the Skin Firming body moisturiser with pomegranate extract. I love the smell as it is very subtle but lasts for ages... yet it doesn't overpower any perfume you might put on. :D I love this as a body moisturiser! I have really sensitive skin and a lot of other products break me out in a rash, which is hell when you've literally put on a product from head to toe :O But this is great. No reaction, and it's not greasy at all - plus it absorbs super fast! By the time i've finished applying it, the rest of my skin is nicely moisturised without being sticky. And my body remains feeling that way all night and right through the next day so I only feel I need to apply it once a day. It might not so good for someone who has very dry skin, but it's great for normal or greasier skin i think. Now onto the firming. I admit, I haven't been seeing amazing results. But, it does mean that my body is getting the equivalent of a massage every night compared to before when I didn't always put moisturiser on, and I certainly wasn't going to massage my skin without a reason lol. So assuming that this gets the blood moving a bit less sluggishly because i'm really working the lotion into my body (it's suprisingly thick!) then i'm hoping that my skin may become a little more toned over time and that will help mask any cellulite. And I will buy it again because it has the benefit of having 96% natural ingredients, and is one of the few body moisturisers (as i've said before) that isn't: a) too greasy, and b) not sensitive enough for my skin. Ok, so it's a little expensive for a moisturiser that doesn't quite live up to it's claims of firming skin in 2 uses, and I DON'T reccomend getting the 200ml bottle as that lasted me all of about 1 week! Instead I DO reccomend getting the 350ml bottle with the pump. It lets me regulate how much I use really easily and lasts ages. I've had this bottle over 2 weeks now (twice as long as the smaller bottle, yet it's not even double the size!) and so in that respect it's reasonable value for money.

Brows -BeneFit Cosmetics - Speed Brow

This lasts ages and is really good for tinting your eyebrows ever so slightly. BeneFit Speed Brow also helps shape your eyebrows, not perfectly, but certainly very well, and when I eventually run out I will definitely buy this again, even though it is a little bit pricy.

Primer/ Corrector -Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat (Radiant Touch)

I personally love this product; the shade is perfect for me and it can be used to brighten up eyes when you are really tired or hungover (eughh!) and to conceal any blemishes at the click of it's button and a quick brush onto the problem skin area. In fact, I once soley used this when I was out for an evening since I had forgotten my foundation, and it was possibly a better match to my skin colour than anything I've used before! So yes, the price is steep; well, in fact it's positively expensive and not something I would use everyday. Plus the packaging seems pointless (at least to me) since I throw it away immediately before adding it to my make-up bag. Those are my reasons for rating it 4 star and not 5. Still, you can find it in sales or online for less than it's RRP and as long as you don't expect miracles, it is truly an excellent product which, at the very least, should be tried. Of course it's not for everyone; however, if you find that it works for you - and it most definitely works for me - then stick to it, because I reckon that you would be hard pressed to find such a versatile product which works as quickly, easily and as well as the YSL Touche Eclat.

I absolutely loved the scent when I smelt it in this cute little bottle. This is the only perfume in the range that I own, because I really do not like the others. (Probably because there are very few perfumes that I will actually wear!) I love the sweet notes of Honeysuckle and jasmine that come through after you've had it on for about an hour or two, and the final notes with the vanilla and musk is gorgeous. However, the more I wear this the less staying power this seems to have, which is a real shame. Also it is quite pricy and you seem to be spending more because of the cute figurine and not because of the volume of perfume that you are buying. Worth buying if you really like the scent in it's different stages after testing it, although I wouldn't wear it as an everyday perfume. I would buy this product again, but not straight away - and if I was so blown away by a different perfume then I might not (or I might just buy it so the bottle can look cute on my dressing table!)
