Mascara -Revlon - Photoready 3D Volume
rated 3 of 5

Overall I'd say this is a pretty mediocre product: it's neither good nor bad. I was really excited to try it out and initially thought it was amazing. I thought they looked like my lashes but better. However, wearing it for a week, I found that it made my lashes feel rather stiff and took my already long lashes and made them look shorter (how the hell this happened is beyond me). It's one of the better waterproof formula's I've tried and the brush, in theory, is nice, but it seems to take my separated lashes and bind them all together. If you want a spikey mascara, I'd say this is right up your alley. However, if you want great definition, I'd say you're better off to keep looking.

Mascara -Annabelle - Le Big Show
rated 4 of 5
SwordChant 7/12/2012 12:55:00 PM

For the past year, this has been my go-to mascara. It gives lovely volume and really brings out the length in my already long eyelashes. It's great to make your lashes stand out against bright colours and is quite flattering. My only gripe with it is that I do find myself wanting to pull it off during the day as my lashes will catch on each other when I have it on. It also can flake a tad during the day which is kind of disappointing, but I can live with it. I do wish that Annabelle would make a waterproof version of Le Big Show because if I'm running to the bus stop in the rain, 8 out of 10 times, Le Big Show will be creating un big mess all over my face.

Polishes -OPI - Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI?
rated 5 of 5

This gorgeous polish is a medium purple with a bit of bronze shimmer. It covers well in two coats and I catch myself staring at my nails when I'm outside since the shimmer reflects so subtly, yet beautifully. Another pro to the shade is the fact that as a cashier, I received several compliments on my nails when I was wearing this shade which is completely flattering.

Polishes -OPI - Go on Green
rated 4 of 5
SwordChant 5/4/2012 12:53:00 AM

Go-On Green is a beautiful baby blue with green and lavender reflects. I do really like the colour, but even with four coats, I cannot bring this polish to an opaque finish and still have a decent amount of nail line showing. I'm at a very active job and after my four hour shift tonight, I could already see a bit of dirt through the polish. I haven't tried layering it with any other polishes, although I do suspect that it would look marvelous over a blue or green. Whenever I go for this shade, I end up looking past the thin coverage and I really do love this colour for spring and winter.

Eyeliner -Annabelle - Smudgeliner Electric Sapphire
rated 5 of 5
SwordChant 5/4/2012 12:47:00 AM

I'm rather surprised at the low ratings for this eyeliner thus far. It was one of my first Smudgeliners and I absolutely adore this shade. I do agree that if you smudge it too much with the reverse applicator, you will remove a lot of the product, but if you don't oversmudge, then your look looks pulled together and sleek. I love pairing this with purples, blues and greens and will definitely be picking up a replacement when I'm finished with this one.

Eyeliner -Annabelle - Smudgeliner

Annabelle's Smudgeliners are a definite staple in my collection. They're shiny and stand out quite well. I have Oh My Goth, Electric Sapphire, Purple Storm and Armour and by jove, they end up on my face every time I can't figure out what to wear. I don't generally smudge the liner if I use it on my upper lid, but they look gorgeous smudged on and under the waterline.

Skincare - Face -Annabelle - 100% Fragrance Free Non Oily Eye Makeup Remover Pads
rated 2 of 5
SwordChant 5/4/2012 12:38:00 AM

I bought these at about half price around Christmas time thinking they would be handy on an upcoming trip. I'm really thankful that I tried them before I left because I found these to be an absolute mess. I do have sensitive skin, but they stung my eyes like crazy and merely transferred the makeup to a different area of my face. They weren't awful at removing make up, but they weren't all the hot either. Also, the pads are quite small so it takes a few rounds to take off your makeup.

Polishes -OPI - Glitzerland

This champagne gold is very pretty in the bottle, but I was somewhat disappointed when I put it on. While it does looks great in the sun, I found that it was almost too similar to my skin colour to stand out inside, especially at work.

Polishes -OPI - Blue My Mind
rated 4 of 5
SwordChant 5/12/2011 7:47:00 PM

Blue my mind is a magnificent royal blue with lots of shimmer. It was one of my first OPI polishes and I keep coming back to it time and time again. I've had so many compliments on this colour. It does need two to three coats to become as opaque as I like but I knocks my socks off every time I apply it. I currently have it paired with some black shatter and it looks absolutely phenomenal.

Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Raspberry Body Butter
rated 2 of 5
SwordChant 3/11/2011 12:40:00 AM

I mainly bought this because it was part of a promotion and I immediately regretted it. The smell was disgusting and left my skin feeling slimy rather than smooth. I didn't use it for a week and opened it up to find it nearly liquefied even though I left it in a cool room. Safe to say, this went in the garbage quickly.

Lipstick -MAC - Russian Red
rated 5 of 5
SwordChant 3/11/2011 12:34:00 AM

Russian Red is that go-to colour that every woman should have in her make up bag. It goes on smooth and stays on for hours without needing any touch ups. I was hellbent on trying it and I can't think of another red I would have rather bought. I am constantly getting compliments on it and there's no better feeling than that.
