This is a pretty amazing product. I went on solodyn for about 6 months which cleared me up. After that I was put on this and it has kept my acne at bay. I still get an occasional pimple, but nothing like before. I had stubborn hormonal acne that NOTHING would help with. Now, I apply this every morning to only my acne prone areas. Sometimes I see a pimple starting to come in its early stages, so I will use this more generously on it and rub it in to the sprouting pimple really well, the next day, or even that evening, the pimple has ran away, and vanishes like it was never coming. Its pretty awesome, and that has never happened with anything else I have used.

Sunscreen -La Roche Posay - Anthelios 60 Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid

This goes on like a dream on me, leaves no film and dries nice and almost feels like it turns into silk! Nice matte and silky finish. Has not broken me out after 6+ months of use. I have not tested it in an all day sun exposure setting, but use pretty much daily just to protect my face, so far so good.

Deodorants -Secret - Clinical Strength

I like this deodorant, as it seems to be strong at combating body odor due to perspiration. For that reason I continue to buy. The scents are lovely and not over powering. It says use at night before bed and I do sometimes, but usually I just use as needed as I would any other deodorant. I only gave 3 stars though because sometimes I feel it does need to be re-applied often in order for it to keep working. And also, this may sound weird but it makes my under arms itch like crazy after I first apply sometimes. So, it does fine for now but I feel like there could be better out there. I am just not in the mood to hunt down my perfect deodorant, so this will do.

Brows -Estee Lauder - Automatic Brow Pencil

This does the job and is a basic brow filler. I do think it is overpriced, as I used to use cover girl brow pencil and get pretty much the same exact results. I like that it is refillable, just not sure if the product its worth the price due to the fact that there is nothing really special about it. The product does go on nicely. Someone said it was hard to apply and dry. I don't really agree. I prefer my brow pencils to be more on the dryer side over wet anyway, because that's what keeps it looking more natural. I don't want my brow pencil the same liquid consistency as my eye liner. Then it looks too fake and messy. So, I would recommend if you want a good refillable eyebrow pencil and don't want to deal with sharpening.

Conditioner -Dove - Damage Therapy Conditioner Intensive Repair

I just reviewed the nourishing oil conditioner by Dove and also gave that a 5. Both of these products are amazing and have far surpassed any of the high end expensive shampoos and conditioners I have used. My hair is thick and tangly and these products have made it softer, less tangled and more beautiful than I have ever seen from any other product I have used. I am so shocked by this given the price, you would not expect it to preform better than the pricey products but it does. Love it.

Conditioner -Dove - Nourishing Oil Care Conditioner

I have just started using this, and also tried the Dove intensive repair which was also amazing. I am not sure yet which I like better yet. I am usually a snob when it comes to my shampoo/conditioner and have been using expensive brands for the last 5 years or more. From Redken to Paul Mitchel. Dove has really blown me away. I only even tried Dove because I was broke at the moment and I hate Pantene, and I couldn't afford my usuals!. Now I am not sure I will ever go back. It's great for my hair and my wallet! But, as far as the results. Amazing. i have very thick hair that tangles like you wouldn't believe. These Dove shampoo/conditioners have been making my hair much softer, shinier, less tangled and more beautiful than all the expensive ones I have tried. I highly recommend. Also, just as a bonus, Add 2-3 tablespoons of jojoba oil to your bottle and shake well to give your hair that extra nutrition. Its very good for your hair and I have recently started doing this and I am loving how healthy my hair is feeling! Thanks Dove for making a high quality product that is affordable!

Toners -Unlisted Brand - Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar

I got this because, like everyone else, I wanted to reap all the amazing benefits people talk about. I was a little scared to put this on my face and never tried that, so I can't say whether or not that would have worked for me. However, I did try to consume it because I heard this was very beneficial as well. Maybe I am a weakling or too sensitive, but this stuff repulsed me. The smell, taste, everything was too strong and foul. I tried mixing it with green tea and honey to make it more bearable, and I was still literally gagging. It over powered the tea and honey by a mile and all I could taste was the apple cider vinegar. So...that's my opinion. I can't speak of any personal benefits from it, because of the horrid taste and smell prevented me from continuing to use.

Mascara -Lancome - Definicils Mascara

This is quite a good mascara. It takes little effort applying and my lashes get dramatically long. Little to no clumping and great staying power. No complaints. I even uploaded a picture with just a light application on my lashes so you could see how good it works.

Lotions/ Creams -Dove - Cream Oil Shea Butter Body Lotion

I have used various brands from bath and body works, Victoria's secret, Jergens...etc. This surprised me because this has made my skin so soft, better than any lotion/cream I have ever tried. I am blown away. So cheap too. After trying this and the Dove shampoo/conditioner, I am starting to believe this brand is of high quality and really works well. I loved how soft and supple my skin feels when using this, and it lasts for days.

Skincare - Body -Unlisted Brand - Tea Tree Oil

I just started using tea tree oil a few weeks ago and I can't believe this stuff. I hope I am not speaking too soon here, but I think this is actually stopping my break outs. I have generally good skin, but I still suffer from hormonal break outs frequently. Usually when I see a pimple forming, nothing I do to it will stop it. Now, If I see a pimple form and I put a dash of pure tea tree oil right on it, It literally stops it in its tracks and it just goes away and does not form. I also use it all over my face. I usually just mix a little in my moisturizer or use on a wet cotton pad. I am telling you, I have not had a pimple in nearly a month. Before this, I would have at least one or 2 on my face consistently at a time. Hormonal acne is a b*tch to get rid of, and I think I finally found something that can stop it. If anything changes I will edit this post because it is kind of early, but as of right now I am amazed and loving it. One con is of course the very strong smell, but it does go away so it's all good. Update, While I still like this as acne treatment, unfortunately I have began my breakouts again in my usual areas. I am so bummed.

Loose Powders -Estee Lauder - Lucidity Translucent Loose Powder

I looooooooooooooooove this loose powder! It it so silky and beautiful on! It looks so natural too and no matter how much I put on, it does not cake up or look thick. It's just a nice wonderful silky powder. I wear it on top of double wear foundation and I tell you my skin looks flawless with this combo.

Hmmm. I am somewhat confused by negative reviews on this. I am almost 30 so I wanted to start protecting my face. I am somewhat new to face sun screen. I have very fair skin and do not go in the sun that often. I wore this last sunday when going quad riding. I put my moisturizer on, then applied this on after. I was worried my foundation would not go on properly but it glided right on with no problems. No bunching up or none of that. I did not notice any overly strong smell, and it melted right into my skin without any issues. I was pleasantly surprised. I have worn this a few times since then and have nothing bad to say about this sunscreen. It did not feel heavy either. Worked great for me.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara

I was surprised how good this was. I guess I wasn't expecting much, just picked it up for the heck of it. It added massive length to my lashes and does not clump at all. I have not yet experienced any flaking, though I have only worn twice so far. So, for me, this mascara is pretty fabulous.

This looks pretty good on and lengthens great, Does not clump. However I was shocked to see someone say it's easy to get off? This is a b*tch to get off! It takes several attempts for me to get this off and when it finally does it's all stringy and gross. I will not buy this for the simple fact of the difficulty it takes to get off your lashes!!! Can't be good for them!

Cleansers -Dermalogica - Special Cleansing Gel

I like this cleanser now that I have my hormonal acne under control (thanks birth control pills!) Anyway, I really think if you have stubborn acne this may not work for you. I see a lot of the negative reviews are from people who suffer from acne and expected this to help. I just don't think it's powerful enough for that as it has nothing in it to really treat acne. It is a basic mild cleanser that removes dirt, oil, make up etc. I personally love it just because the big bottle last forever and it does the job well. I feel it is a really good quality cleanser. If you have acne you should definitely try something stronger, or perhaps try their skin clearing cleanser. If you don't have too many skin problems and just need a great basic cleanser, give this a try!
