Primer/ Corrector -Boscia - Skin Perfecting Primer
Sweetienat123 1/12/2012 1:19:00 AM
I purchased my second tube of this product, and started to realize that I was looking very oily throughout the day, despite having dry skin and being in the cold winter season. I decided to try not using this primer with my regular foundation (Estee Lauder Double Wear), and found that I looked better and not at all oily without it. I do like it for smoothing out lines underneath my eyes, but probably won't repurchase this a third time.
Cleansers -Neutrogena - Natural Fresh Cleansing + Makeup Remover

I really love this cleanser/makeup remover. I have been using this every night for a couple months or so and it works perfectly for me. I wear a long-wearing foundation (Estee Lauder Double Wear), and need something that will remove it without me needing to use a face wash after. I use Retin-A and don't want to dry my skin out too much, but don't want to have any makeup residue left over. This takes care of everything except my eye makeup. I use Lancome Bi-Facil for that. The only thing this irritates is my eyes, but it's no big issue. I like the smell and I like that it is a "natural" product. I definitely recommend this for anyone who want to remove makeup and cleanse in one step without overdrying your skin.
This is my favorite foundation. I have tried about a dozen in the past year or two, and this works best for my skin and my needs. I will start with the PROS: -excellent coverage/easy to layer over areas that need it -great staying-power -does not settle into fine lines as easily as other have -works well with my combination skin (doesn't flake off or cake up) CONS: -no pump (purchased one from MAC for about $6 and works great -no perfect match shade for me (I am in between Sand and Tawny, so I do one pump of each and it's perfect) I apply this with MAC 190 and set with M.U.F.E. HD powder with MAC 134. I use Boscia skin primer before applying. I remove this with Neutrogena Naturals fresh cleansing + makeup remover.
This is a wonderful foundation that meets my needs right now. I have dry skin from Retin-A and was using a cream makeup (Lancome Absolue jar) to help with the dryness, but I found that I was looking oily most of the day and kept having to apply powder. I decided to try this out and the makeup artist found my shade, applied it to my face, and set it with the new Studio Careblends powder in Medium (I'm NC30 in this foundation). It looked great so I bought both and am very pleased with this foundation. She advised me to apply it with a brush (MAC 190) and pat and blend it in. The finishing powder is best applied with a sponge because of the creaminess of this foundation. I love the coverage this provides and I love the matte look I get when I use that powder on top of this. Great purchase overall. Also, I do use moisturizer and primer before applying this.
I purchased this today after a makeup artist at MAC applied this over the Studio Tech foundation to set it. It looks beautiful on the skin and not cakey at all. She said that it would work well on just the skin alone too, but I have several things I need covered, and some sort of foundation is a must for me right now. I am NC25-30 and was matched to Medium in this product. This was applied using a makeup sponge, and it was recommended to use the enclosed sponge rather than a brush when setting a foundation like Studio Tech (creamy).
This is a gorgeous peach/pink/gold shade. I purchased this as a single shadow and will definitely be using all of it. It looks great on the lid paired with bronze in the crease.
Eye Shadow -Lancome - Color Design - Designer Metallic

This is a gorgeous shade of green. I love it as a lid color with a highlight on the browbone.
This foundation is perfect for me. I am on a retinoid (very drying) and have hyperpigmentation from past acne and need coverage. I also need a foundation that doesn't suck the moisture from my skin. This meets all my needs because it is moisturizing, has SPF 20, gives full coverage, and the shade match is great. I am normally an NC25 in MAC and was matched with Ecru 15(W) and I love how this shade looks on me. I can't tan my face, so it's a little lighter than my body and this shade really evens things out for me without looking unnatural at all. I use a moisturizer, primer, apply this foundation, cover up the few tiny areas that might need extra coverage with MUFE Full Cover concealer, and finish with a loose setting powder (using MUFE HD right now). I like to apply this with the MAC 195 brush. I highly recommend this foundation for those who have dry skin and want good coverage from their foundation. (The jar specifies that this foundation is targeted toward dry/extra dry skin).
I have been using this product in dark brown for several years. I works extremely well for filling in brows naturally. I don't have thin brows, but I do like to have them defined, so I brush this on and follow it with clear brow gel (I prefer Cover Girl clear mascara ) for nice brows.
Concealers -Make Up For Ever - Full Cover Concealer

I love this concealer. I tried other brands, but didn't find one that worked for me. I have hyperpigmentation from past acne and am on a retinoid that dries me out. I use this over my Absolue Foundation from Lancome (moisturizing/full coverage) and it works wonderfully. I tried the HD Foundation, but it did not work with my dry skin. As far as color matching goes, I had poor luck and got the best match myself. I am around an NC25 (Ecru 15 in Absolue) and shade 6 is perfect. Good amount of yellow in that shade. I have 5 and 7 ( was matched with those and shade 10, but HAD to return that - too dark!). I'll probably use 5 for under the eyes (maybe mixed with eye cream) and we'll see about 7. I highly recommend this concealer.

Love this color and this formula. I have no regrets about my purchase. It's a gorgeous shade of red and would look lovely on many skin tones.
Eye Shadow -Lancome - Color Design - Fashion Forward

I LOVE this color. To me, it appears to be a light blue/green metallic/irridescent color. It can give you a sheer wash of color when used dry, or a bolder, more metallic/irridescent color when used wet. This was my first eyeshadow purchase from Lancome and I'm very happy with it.
I love this brush, and actually purchased it specifically for use with concealer (Pro Longwear). I went to the MAC counter to look at the 194 concealer brush to cover hyperpigmentation spots, and it looked to big and soft. When I saw this one, I knew I needed to try it. I know it is for lips, and I did try and find it works great for that. However, this is perfect for me when I want to pat my concealer onto a specific, small area and blend it outward.
I love this product. I use a longwearing foundation and this takes it off so much better than what I was using before. I used to take a makeup wipe and rub hard all over my face to get the makeup off, but with this product, all I have to do is rub the oil in and rinse off. Works perfectly!
Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara Waterproof

I have been using this for about 10 years and I love it! I have straight lashes, and curl them with an eyelash curler. This is the only mascara I've tried that keeps them curled and looking great all day/night. I wear the blackish brown shade everyday and will continue to buy it probably forever! I only put this on my upper lashes, it doesn't clump, I buy a new one when it begins to dry/run out, and it never smudges on me.
