Gels/Soaps -St. Ives - Apricot Exfoliating Moisturizing Body Wash
Sweetest_Taboo 3/13/2013 4:23:00 PM
This is a good body wash, overall. Smells good, lathers fine, and doesn't strip moisture from my skin. For the price, you can't go wrong.

Lip Treatments -Reviva - Vitamin E Stick
Sweetest_Taboo 3/13/2013 3:13:00 PM
Bought this as a replacement for the lip conditioner I used to buy from Avon -- found this at Vitamin Shoppe. I have had the same one for awhile, and it's lasted me a long time. I love this as a lip base...it does seem to have a plumping effect. I haven't tried it under the eyes yet, but after reading other reviews, I will probably buy a second one for that purpose. Would definitely repurchase!

Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"
Sweetest_Taboo 3/12/2013 4:39:00 PM
LOVE this palette! Wet n' Wild is my favorite drugstore brand, hands down, due to the quality of their eye shadows alone! The drugstores (Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS) run sales on WnW all the time, so you can get these super cheap and end up racking up on new shades! I currently use the Fergie WnW eye primer underneath, and these shadows look great.

Mascara -New York Color - Sky Rise Lengthening Mascara
Sweetest_Taboo 3/12/2013 4:33:00 PM
I paid $1.74 for this mascara (regular price, y'all!) at Wally World. Who would've thought I'd actually reach for this on a regular basis? I prefer smaller brushes as compared to the big-a$$ ones (a la Lash Blast) that have been popular in recent years. This mascara does what it says -- it lengthens well. It's great for using on lower lashes. Would definitely repurchase.

Mascara -Wet 'n' Wild - MegaVolume Thickening Mascara
Sweetest_Taboo 3/12/2013 3:27:00 PM
Tried this based on recommendation of a YouTube beauty guru, but I'm not impressed. It was clumpy and went on unevenly. Even the NYC SkyRise mascara I got for $1.75 at Wal-Mart works much better than this.

Mascara -New York Color - Big Bold Ultra Volume Mascara
Sweetest_Taboo 2/21/2013 2:12:00 PM
This wand is huge, so it took me longer to apply my mascara. The effect on my lashes was nice, but I did notice some clumping and flaking as the day went on. Will not repurchase (I do like NYC's Sky Rise mascara as a cheap, everyday look, however).

Liquid -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup SPF 20
Sweetest_Taboo 8/5/2012 7:11:00 PM
I tried 3 different shades of this foundation and none matched that well...Classic Ivory seemed to match the best. I also tried different application methods (using fingers, using Sonia Kashuk stippling brush, using Elf flat top powder brush), and I couldn't get it to look right. I wanted to like this, but it doesn't seem to work for me. :(

Mascara -Prestige - My Longest Lashes
Sweetest_Taboo 8/5/2012 11:17:00 AM
I tried Prestige's My Biggest Lashes first, which I liked, but I prefer a smaller brush because it's easier to access all the lashes. This mascara is great, and I've repurchased several times. I get long, defined lashes and don't have any issues with smudging. I usually see this for $7.50 most places, but have seen it for $6.50 at Rite Aid. **Photo I uploaded shows 1 coat applied (see close-up of single eye)

Polishes -Sally Hansen - Insta-Dri Grape Going
Sweetest_Taboo 6/29/2012 9:51:00 PM
This color looks gorgeous in the bottle, but this polish sucks...hard. It's streaky and I don't like the wide brush.

Gels/Soaps -Unlisted Brand - Dial - Naturals Tangerine & Guava
Sweetest_Taboo 6/29/2012 4:25:00 PM
My current favorite body wash: around $3 at WalMart. Lathers well, smells awesome, & doesn't leave my skin feeling "tight"...perfect for summer!

Eye Makeup Remover -Unlisted Brand - Rite Aid Brand Renewal Makeup Removing Cleansing Towelettes
Sweetest_Taboo 5/27/2012 4:57:00 PM
These are the generic version of Garnier's makeup remover wipes (which are my favorite). I just snagged 2 pkgs for $7.00, which is a great price considering that the Garnier wipes are a little under $5 (depending on where you buy them). EDIT: After repurchasing these, I've found these are too harsh on my face, especially on the eye area. I don't know if the formulation has changed, but I returned these for a refund.

Gels/Soaps -Olay - Winter Retreat Body Wash in Vanilla Essence for Extra Dry Skin
Sweetest_Taboo 12/3/2011 10:15:00 PM
This smelled divine when I sniffed it in the store; however, that smell turned "plasticky" once applied to my skin in the shower. Very disappointing. Will be returning b/c I can't deal with the artificial aroma.

Lotions/ Creams -Curel - Skin nourishing lotion with Shea butter and honey
Sweetest_Taboo 11/10/2011 10:34:00 PM
My favorite lotion right now (and I'm picky when it comes to lotions). Great, soothing scent & it sinks into the skin quickly. I would definitely repurchase again.

Bronzers -Clinique - True Bronze pressed powder bronzer - Sunkissed
Sweetest_Taboo 5/14/2011 9:26:00 AM
My favorite bronzer, hands down. I'm fair-skinned, and this looks very natural on my skin and gives me a great hint of color. I use this every day, which says something b/c I never used bronzer much before. Love!

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Studio Powder Brush

I really like this brush. I use it for bronzer/blush application, as well as powder. It's soft and seems to cover my skin well.
