I can understand why some people may not like these but i really do. They are scratchy, but i figure that is what we expect from exfoliating products. They may be too harsh for sensitive skin and i dont use them everyday because you really arent suppose to exfoliate everyday. After i use it, my face is so soft and smooth! The one thing that doesnt make sense to me is the people complaining about the smell. I dont notice any smell at all actually. And when something has ingredients that generally have scents how do they get em all out anyway? I suppose thats a question for a professional though. Anyway, if your face isnt too sensitive and you can find em on sale, id say give em a try.

Shampoo -Suave - Professionals Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo

Bought on clearence for less than 2bucks. Im always looking for a better dry shampoo because i have a 3 yr old who wont let me shower everyday and when i havethe time i always seem to lack the energy. I have fine, limp hair. I actually dye it more often since thats one of the few ways i can get any volume. Thats one thing this is half decent at.. but the smell is so intoxicating i actually have to walk around my house while i use it or risk passing out. However, as a smoker, the upside to that is it really does deoderize my hair. As far as getting rid of greasy hair.. ive had better. Overall, i call it medicore, but worth 2 bucks. I just noticed it says 'salon proven to refresh as well as bumble and bumble'. If that is true i think they must be talking about refreshing the scent of your hair, not so much the clean-looking factor.

I bought it at Big Lots as well, but for 4$. It was the only one i saw, which i figured myst mean good things. And boy was i right! Its not exactly night time, but i didnt want to wait since i was not wearing any makeup and not going anywhere. The instant i put it on, my skin drank it right up. An hour later, my skin is soft and supple without being greasy or shiny. Time will tell, but so far i am in love.

Discontinued!! At least, im guessing, cause i just bought it for 1.80 from Big Lots. I just tried it in my short, dry hair and ohmygod, immediately incredible! Smells gorgeous, left my dry hair soft and tangle free. I cant wait to try it in wethair before being blow dried. Scoop it up if youget the chancebefore its too late!

It saddens me that this line has been discontinued. I really like these colors. They are buildable and will last with a good primer underneathe. The lighter color is a beautiful hilighter for my fair skin.

I think this has since been discontinued, which is a real shame. Beautiful color by itsself, layered, as eyeliner, hilighter. If you can get ur hands on it, do!

I bought this in a sample jar for 2 bucks. Ive never actually considered buying any of their full size products, even though ive been curious, because im cheap. Haha. So when i found this little jar at rite aid i was ecstatic. When i first felt it i reread the label thinking it must be body lotion. But no, it is thicker moisterizer for the face. Winter kills my pale skin.. dull, dry, lackluster, occasional breakouts. I was concerned that it would make me break out because of the immediate greasiness, but a few minutes later it had completely absorbed leaving my face soft and supple. It also makes my makeup go on that much smoother. This is one product that does what it claims. Yes, it costs more than i like to spend but you use so little that the full size would probably last a year. Even the little jar has lasted weeks. The smell is mild and clean. Let it soak in before you rate it worthy or not. And rub any excess into knuckles... incredible.

One of those colors that catch your eye butyou cant quite imagine how itd look on. GORGEOUS! Thats how. The smell is great, not to thick, no grittiness. Looks super pretty alone even if its on the sheer side. After it wears off it leaves a hint of sparkle, which i love.

Concealers -NYX - Full Coverage Concealer Jar

I just bought this in lavender and its my 3rd concealer from nyx. The consistency is thick but generally full coverage concealer is. If you want something thinner, buy the wand instead. When used with a concealer brush i have no problems blending it but i do find it to be easier with my mini foundation brush than a smaller one. As far as the color...i dont know what posessed me to get the purple (03 light matches my skin tone). I read that purple is supposed to perk up dull skin.. but must of missed the part about it being made for yellow skintones. But i was determined to make it work and much to my delight.. i did! I took my larger concealer brush and while tilting my head down and looking up in to the mirror, i put a dot of it where my under eye darkness ended. I traced the shape of the darkness and blended it to lash line and over the lid. At this point you will look a little scary for a minute. Then i took my skin tone concealer and very lightly blended it with the purple. After i blended it, i blend it a little more. Remember.. a little goes a very long way with these jars. Then i used my large concealer brush and patted some powder over it. All i can say is wow. Of course my eye area was a shade lighter than the rest of my face, but considering i hadnt slept in two days and you could no longer tell, thats an easy fix with a darker concealer. It may look heavy on you, or you may not want to take the time or layer that much makeup on, but somedays i absolutely need to to not look like the living dead girl. Take lavender for a spin.. you may be surprised.

Blush -NYX - pinched

Gosh, i love NYX blush. This is the 3rd one ive tried and they continue to amaze me. Pinched resembles summer peach, which is my HG blush, just..pinker... but the golden shimmer is still there. Personally, i love shimmer, especially in blush, but i can understand why some dont. I think it gives the perfect amount of color for a healthy glow without looking garrish. Its the kind of color that i think would work with every skin tone. Im on the paler side so its not always easy to find natural looking color. As far as staying power...average. no matter what primer or base i use i can never get blush to stay on longer than a few hours. The price is perfect, the color is perfect. Now go buy it.

Oh, ELF, im so glad youve redeemed yourself after those horrible white brushes. I realize they are only a buck but the price doesnt matter if the product is junk. Anyway, ive been researching brushes and elf always gets mixed reviews for everything so i figured id take a gamble with my 3$. Im so glad i did when i look at the prices of other brushes. Elf may be cheap but the quality will often surprise you. I think if theyd get rid of their less than stellar 1$ line and focused on the other stuff, people would take them more seriously

The set i found on clearence at Ulta isnt exactly the same. Mine has a blush brush, mini foundation brush, mini face brush, detailed eye/shading brush and was regularly $15. I got it half off and its an awesome deal. No shedding, soft bristles, sturdy. My only complaint is the mini face brush. I like the shape and bristles but find that its too small for blush and too big for eyeshadow. The bag is gorgeous. Theres a compartment for the brushes on the side of a decent sized makeup bag. Can definetely fit essentials in it and toss it in purse. To make it even better, the bag is off white with varying shades of blue flowers as well as the inside lined with robins egg blue. I know that may not be important to some people, but i appreciate beautiful things. Best 7 bucks ive spent.

I bought this in apple strudel which is a natural pink. The consistency is not sticky or drying and it lasts longer than most. The smell is sweet and yummy. Highly recommended. **edit: i never edit reviews if i my opinion doesnt change but i decided i had to express my love for this a little more now that ive used it more. By far my favorite lip gloss. Im a chapstick junkie and for me no gloss can rep,ace it. Until this one. If my lips are feeling dry, this is my only gloss that makes it feel better.. most make em feel worse. The color is definetely a little milky looking which doesnt sound good but i do believe thats what gives it such great coverage. The color goes with any makeup look and since Ulta has BOGO 1/2 OFF, i think i may have to go grab a few different colors. Amazing.

I stopped buying CG years ago and am always entertained watching one new product after another get replaced on store shelvex. What does that tell us? They cant make a winner. So you can imagine my surprise when i found the line 75% off at rite aid. For 3 bucks i decided to give it a try since all i seem to be doing lately is rotating medicore foundations anyway. Holy shit, CG surprised me. Im in love with the color, the finish,the scent, the ease at which it blends and doesnt settle in but looks completely natural. So im guessing we can kiss this line goodbye in the next few months, but you should try it before its gone. Who knows what crappy formula they may try next.

Ive seen this in drugstores for years and the line has alwayd intrigued me.. but im cheap, so theres no way id pay more than 6or 7 bucks for something like this. I got lucky. I found it for 3 at five and below and finally got to try it. I am impressed! I just had a bad experience with a different acne scrub and was a litle weary. My favorite thing about it was that even though my face has been so dry this wintet, i didnt even get tightening or dryness after. Of course, i used moisterizer anyway, but for the first time in a while it didnt hurt not to. I dont think the smell is bad. I think ppl have it in their mind that its tomato so thats what they smell. My only issue has been its hard to rinse off completely when not in shower. Im hoping overtime its going to help the blotchy-ness and old scars thats are so noticeable on my fair skin.
