Lotions/ Creams -L'Occitane - Amande Firming & Smoothing Milk Concentrate

This stuff is so wonderful. I love how it moisturizes quickly and does not leave a greasy residue. My husband loves how my skin feels and that's why he let's me spend $38 every month on a new jar. I just wish that it was in a bottle or tube.
I am so impressed with this stuff!!! For the past few years, I have been traumatized by many salons that have torn skin when waxing my upper lip. The last time I was waxed right before one of my good friend's wedding, I ended up with a scab in the middle of my upper lip. Finally, I decided to get this stuff. My husband actually did everything. He applied the wax, which can be drippy, and tapped it on my lip. After about seven seconds, he swiped the wax off. It was not painful as other wax experiences. The entire kit costs $40 and I am only using this for my upper lip and maybe my eyebrows. Given that it costs $12 for my lip and $20 for my eyebrows, this kit is worth the price. Excellent product.
I bought the little bottle while waiting in line at Sephora. It smells like a light berry cotton candy. Dries down to a light vanilla. I like this for freshening up, especially in the hot Florida sun.
I have been usuing the Ultra Facial Moisturizer for the past year. It's not bad but it's not great. I was at the Kiehl's counter buying some of the Creamy Eye Cream with Avocado and noticed this new product. The salesperson let me try some. I was apprehensive at first because I don't usually like creams since they tend to be too heavy. I was delightfully surprised by the texture, it's creamy but silky and smooth. It is definitely a more substantial moisturizer than the original lotion formula. Also, my nose has been dry and chapped because of my allergies. After one night's use, my nose is no longer chapped but rather soft and smooth. My only qualm is that this product comes in a tub not a bottle so I use a cotton swab instead of digging my fingers in there. Overall, I think this a great moisturizer and since I am such a huge Kiehl's fan, I will definitely be repurchasing.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Fresh Vanilla

This is definitely the fresh sister to the WVS scent. I think it kinda smells like the Rice Bran Shea scent that BBW discontinued, but that's just me. I wouldn't say that this is my staple vanilla lotion. Vanilla Bean Noel is my favorite by far!
Lotions/ Creams -Kiehls - Creme de Corps Lightweight Body Lotion
SushiGator 4/24/2005 3:47:00 AM
I love this stuff. After reading the reviews for the Creme de Corps, I decided not to try it because it sounded too greasy. This light version of the Kiehl's cult favorite is divine. It goes on very easily and absorbs quickly. The price is steep, $22 for a bottle. Nonetheless, I will probably still repurchase.

I just tried this sample from Sephora. My face feels nice but I think I am going to vomit from this awful smell! Excuse me while I run to the bathroom...
Shave Products -Aveeno - Positively Smooth Shave Gel
SushiGator 1/3/2005 12:51:00 AM
I love this stuff!!! It smells so good and it has a very nice consistency, almost like whipped cream. I ran out the other day and had to use another brand which ended up irritating me. This makes shaving so luxurious. I will never use another brand of shaving cream ever.
I absolutely love this! It makes me feel so girly and sexy. At first, it reminds me of Kai, a pronounced gardenia. The drydown is quite different. Monyette Paris has a sweeter, lighter dry down. I am not sure what the notes are, maybe vanilla. It is simply delicious!
Fragrances -Comptoir Sud Pacifique - Vanille Abricot
SushiGator 9/29/2004 8:38:00 PM
I have been waiting to try to this and got my sample in the mail today. I am a big fan of vanilla, particularly Fleurie de Tahiti. Vanille Abricot just didn't do it for me. You can smell the sweet fruit with a hint of vanilla. Doesn't seem worth the price. I'll stick to Fleurie.
I have had this sample sitting around for a while and I finally decided to try it on. It is so fresh and clean. At first it smells like you just cut open a sweet grapefruit, then it dries down to a bright muscat wine. Very swank.
Lotions/ Creams -Bath and Body Works - Black Raspberry Vanilla Lotion
SushiGator 9/26/2004 4:17:00 PM
I really love this! This is so much better than the Sun Ripened Rasberry. Also, the scent works nicely with all my perfumes, which are mostly vanillas.
I am becoming a really big fan of DHC products. I stopped using the Clinique system after 7 years so I have been looking for a replacement. Needless to say, I was a bit hesitant to use soap on my face. This soap is different. It gets nice and foamy and when I rinse it off, my skin is not tight or dry. In fact, my skin looks very supple. Good price.
This stuff is so awesome. I was a little apprehensive about putting oil on my face. Once I started massage my face with it, I didn't care. It has a very light rosemary scent to it which is nice. Surprisingly, the oil rinses right off with no residue. I got this as a sample but I am definitely going to buy the full size.
I am not a big fan of floral scents, but Kai is so exotic and mysterious. I received a sample of Kai with my luckyscent, and I can't stop smelling myself. Not sure if I like the fact that it is an oil, but it does last a while. The drydown is nice and sweet.
