Lip Liners -Make Up For Ever - Aqua Lip Waterproof Lipliner Pencil
Surfaddict 8/3/2012 4:00:00 AM
I've been using this lip pencil for quite a while. Have it in 11C and 14C but use just 11C, every day. I'm so surprised nobody mentioned it as it is a perfect natural color if you don't apply too much. I always get asked what I'm wearing on my lips. The pencil is pretty waterproof and color choice is good. It lasts quite long but actually is quite short inside. It is easy to apply and is soft enough. Right now I'm not thinking to switching to anything else.
I am unsure but it might be this product that made my skin terribly flaky. Nothing else in my daily skin routine or eating habits has happened. It does work as a primer for me though, after fraxel my pores are twice smaller than before but still visible and with this primer they are not visible. It is smooth because of the silicon as well. I am unsure about repurchasing but probably would, to use on special occasions. But flaky skin is a definite cons to me.
My favorite glow so far out of all I've tried. Looks great on tanned skin, giving a polished golden glow, looks great on pale skin, giving this just a little bit sunkissed look. I wear it under the blush mostly and in enhances the color of both light pinks and salmon colors. Will repurchase ) Though seems like the small jar can last forever even I use it almost every day.
Love love love Damsel! I have a ton of lippies and almost never actually wear them as I tend to look better with just transparent chapstick, the lippies make me look too made up. But Damsel just enhances the natural color of the lips giving them slight really really nice rosy color! Though I think cool to neutral skin toned girls would like it more. The consistency is great and it gives lips nice gloss. It is mineral and doesn't contain any harsh chemicals.
Lip Treatments -Silk Naturals - Smooth and Full- Black Label Lip Treatment

It is overall a great lip balm, very moisturizing, I'd even say healing, not sticky and not waxy and as the previous reviewer said somehow manages to give the lips a nice rosy color, being transparent itself. It also really really smoothens the lips out as it promises. I just would love them to put more into that tube! It lasts me only like...a month?... Normal chapstick lasts WAY longer. So far still keep on repurchasing.
Hair -Unlisted Brand - MACADAMIA NATURAL OIL Deep Repair Mask
Surfaddict 7/10/2012 5:49:00 AM
I really liked it. My hair were brittle and easy to break, from environmental damage mostly, from sun and salty water. This mask made them silky smooth in just few uses! I can't really complain now, my hair look good! I didn't expect this. And a little goes a long way so this mask would last you for a while definitely. It is rich and the smell is pleasant. The packaging is nice as well, it looks good in the bathroom.
This serum does exactly what it says: calms down sensitive skin. When my face is red, skin has some environmental damage or just too dry, I use it and wake up with plump and calm skin, no redness or uneven skin tone. Now I use it every night and it does work for my normal/combination skin. It doesn't clog the pores which I would definitely have felt. I actually do love this serum and it became one of the staples. Didn't really expect it to.
Lotions/ Creams -Alba Botanica - Alba Hawaiian Kukui Nut Body Butter
Surfaddict 7/10/2012 5:21:00 AM
This body butter has a rich cream texture and it moisturizes pretty well. It could sink in in a more "silky" way but that's not about any body butter really. But the smell! It has that really artificial note that doesn't let me enjoy it. Smells kinda like burnt plastic...I think I understand the smell they wanted to create but it didn't happen. I won't re-buy it I think.
Lotions/ Creams -Alba Botanica - Kona Coffee After-Sun Lotion
Surfaddict 6/25/2012 7:37:00 AM
I really really wanted to like this lotion but it wasn't moisturizing enough, even though I live in a tropical humid climate. It sort of sits of the top of your skin giving this strange slippery feeling. Maybe the problem was that I didn't actually use it as after-sun treatment, I wanted a rich body lotion. The smell is nice, something similar to how your skin smells like after being in the sun/sunbed and using a nice tanning cream. Wouldn't buy again but will give a shot to their Kukui nut cream.
So far this is the best mineral makeup I've tried. It looks super natural, is weightless, you actually REALLY can't see it on your face, even when you work big amounts and the color is adjustable (can be a pain though if you need a quick fix an realize you're out of foundation). Also it doesn't stain clothes, pillows, your boyfriend's clothes etc. Like I can nap on a white pillow with it on and it's gonna leave nothing. I ran out of the white powder and it takes few weeks to arrive to my destination so I purchased Youngblood which was actually A LOT more expensive, and it can't be compared. Yes, the coverage, but Silk Naturals foundation stays on for the whole day while Youngblood runs and melts. Also Silk Naturals won't accentuate your pores and imperfections. I'd also recommend to get a "glow" powder to mix with the foundation, it gives a really nice dewy look without sparkles. I've been using this product for over 1.5 years and have no thoughts about trying something new. I've uploaded a picture here where I'm wearing it, it is only foundation there yet, no glows, though I pre-mix the glow which those who like matte finish might wanna skip.
This stuff is great!!!! Initially I got a little bottle off ebay for my hair, just as an add to the whole order. It is 100% organic argan oil. Now I use it on my face, and I've been through A LOT of bad experience with clogged pores and breakouts from oil. Argan oil doesn't leave your skin "oily". I put it overnight on the whole face and wake up with great skin tone and without a butter pack on my face. Argan oil actually DOES improve dark circles. Mine are caused by thin skin and are (were?) really bad, though every morning I actually see an improvement....damn, I stopped using concealer! And I've been using it since I was 15! Argan oil is erasing my fine lines under eyes!!!! Initially I started using it on my face for this. I used to skip the sunblock a lot while surfing and got pretty bad lines for my age after a while, skin was super dry and it would just accentuate the lines when I smile. Well, argan oil WORKS for this. I'm not going back to a high-end moisturizer. I will put it on my whole face overnight and under eyes in the morning, before sunblock and makeup. Give it a try! Got mine from IQ natural.
Polishes -Unlisted Brand - Nails Inc - Magnetic Polishes

Well, the idea is KINDA cool and I would have bought it even for the price, but the colors are just poor. Every male I know loves bright colors on women's hands...or at least some nice neutrals, but not the ones that wash you out and are probably flattering to... well, have tried to think of someone, but nothing really comes up! Even when I'm super tanned, those colors look plain dull on the nails.
I wanted to like this product, but it it really not moisturizing enough, as all the other reviewers said. I actually loved the smell, it is sweet though not candy sweet (which I wouldn't mind as well) and it stays on. The texture is okay, just as any other body milk, not too runny, not too thick. The ingredients are all natural, but it just didn't do anything great for my skin. I got it as a gift and wouldn't purchase myself, the price tag is also very high for this kind of product.
Treatments -Yes To Carrots - Hair and Scalp Mud Mask
Surfaddict 10/5/2011 10:48:00 PM
I got this as a gift and, as it is a mask, was expecting to get smoother and more silky hair. Also the ingredients list is quite nice. But...this stuff didn't do a lot for my colored and sun/salty water damaged hair. Well, I don't even know what it did, actually. Well, it gives some bit of shine I guess, and a little bit of moisture, but I definitely would never ever purchase it. Smell is unpleasant as well, as it happens to be with all Yes To Carrots products.
Wow guys, I'm really impressed. Wouldn't think I'd be writing a review on hair dye as they all worked pretty same for me, but this stuff is different. I'm so happy I've followed my intuition and bought this color with pretty girl on the box instead of L'oreal which I always used to. So. The packaging is actually okay and I didn't experience any difficulties with the gloves. Yes, ketchup thing for the conditioner, but hey, can't we handle that. Thanks god I've read MUA and followed the instructions - left it for 20 min on the roots and then applied for 5 min onto the rest of the length. About my hair: long, have always colored 3.0 for last years and always turned jet black no matter what the color was on the box/on the palette in the salon. They always were so pretty, but I just turned BLACK. When you actually apply this stuff and leave it for a while, you can already see it is BROWN ) I was very pleased. So I wash it off...and it washes off like heaven, after 2 shampooings (average, as I'd do if had no dye on my hair) the towel which I wrapped hair into, didn't stain AT ALL. And! It would be actually fine if I didn't use the conditioner as the hair were soft...which was a very big surprise as my hair suffer from sun and salty water. The color is brown!!! Really nice deep dark brown, which I always wanted. Man, I'm so happy I didn't come to the salon on time today and the stylist went home, I'd probably sit here jet black again. Oh, and it smells nice and has no ammonia! Omg, are you kidding me? For 5 dollars? Will repurchase no doubt, no matter how long it will last.
