The most beautiful blue I've ever seen! I got it for $1.00 at Dollar Tree and couldn't be happier. I'm normally partial towards reds, pinks, and nudes but, boy, this color makes me reconsider my loyalties! This is a feminine blue--if you can wrap your mind around that! Perfect for spring and summer; it makes my want to go on a picnic in the most delicate of summerdresses. Usually I change my polish every day because I get bored very quickly but I've had this color on for 4 days and I'm likely going to redo my nails with this color yet again. That says a lot. It applies very smoothly and is opaque with one coat though I always prefer to do three thin coats because I prefer the results that way. I don't know how the wear compares to other nail polishes because I've never ever given another polish the chance to start chipping. LOL. But still, I'll repurchase this color until they stop making it. Hopefully they'll never discontinue this perfect blue... I've uploaded a picture. (The hand with the plastic heart ring is mine.)
Treatments -Clean & Clear - Advantage Daily Acne Clearing Lotion
Superia84 2/1/2013 2:20:00 AM
I love this lotion. I use the Equate version of ProActiv's Refining Lotion and that has left me super dry to the point of being painful now that it's winter. This lotion has brought me relief and not irritated my uber acne prone skin. My skin just feels and looks calm and happy these days and for that I am super grateful. Love, love, love...
I will buy this product forever and that's a lot coming from a girl like I am who is always looking for the next drugstore gem! Perfect color, perfect formula...everything is perfect! Packaging is secure. I've experienced no leakage with this little bad boy (or girl, more appropriately). As a woman of color (NC43-ish), finding the perfect nude at the drugstore is no small feat. Judging by the other reviews, it also appears to be universally flattering. This color is a no-brainer. Perfectly pigmented and day and night appropriate. It's prgctically the color of my skin with some rosiness thrown in and glossy so my lips don't disappear to make me look like I have a just a hole where a mouth should be, if that makes any sense. LOL. I'll be buying this little gem for a long time yet! Oh, and at less than $3, it's practically a pleasure to buy! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - 6 Piece Eye Brush Set (5 brushes + case)
Superia84 10/20/2012 3:45:00 AM
I really do appreciative these brushes--super cheap, effective, and functional. They're soft and I like the length of the handles. They're not to short and fit comfortably in my tiny hands. They're also very soft and wash very well and dry quickly. There really is no need to spend an ARM and a leg on costlier brushes. The crease brush, I find, doubles as a brush for contouring my nose quite well. I, too, appreciate the fact that they're a cruelty-free company, I wondrous about the conditions of the factories and the employees. Everyone always seems to be more concerned about not being food to animals while not even thinking twice about how their fellow man is being treated. I don't know anything about ecotools and their philosopher when it comes to treatment of and commitment to their employees, but I'm just saying...something to think about and look into. Food for thought... With that said, I love these brushes and if ever there is a need to repurchase, I wouldn't think twice about doing so. Can't really say I see that happening anytime in the foreseeable future, though. (if there are a million typos, j do apologize. I posted this review from my phone.)
Liquid -Maybelline - SuperStay Makeup - New Version
Superia84 8/18/2012 5:42:00 AM
I do like this product. A LOT. It's my trusty standby. I stray and always come bwck. Sure, I'm nit crazy about the lack of a pump, but it's not a huge problem ilif I'm careful. I wear it in caramel. and wile it's a bit off (the color) before I powder, after I've used Ben Nye's banana powder, the color is spot on. I appreciate the price and performance. I have super oily skin but this hangs on for dear life and refuses to wear off or oxidize (or at noticeably so). I'll be using this product for a whole yet.
I will buy and use this product as long as my skin is oily. I've suffered from acne for almost 15 years now (yay, me!. This is the only cleanser that doesn't break me out. I use in conjunction with the noxzema blemish scrub (cant recall its name right now) and the Walmart version of proactiv's repairing lotion. It's been almost a year since I've had more than just a random [small] pimple here and there. Didn't even know that was possible. Super cheap, effective, basic (which means no active ingredients to interfere with treatments or for one's skin to acclimate to). Love, love, love is all I have for this soap!
I will buy this product as long as it's available!! I used the neutral set powder for several months and thought I couldn't possibly like a powder (pressed or loose) more and then I tried the Banana Visage Poudre. What a fantastic product!! The neutral set kept my very oily skin matte for 3 or 4 hours and I thought that was impressive. For some reason, the Banana Visage Poudre keeps me matte for a whole 8 hours. I've never known what it feels like to not look either a mess or super cakey due to reapplication at the end of the day. And, of course, in Southern California desert, things are super hot and muggy this year so this was the ultimate test. If it can withstand this nasty summer, I have no doubt that it will perform even better during the cooler months ("cooler" being a relative term, of course). I love, love, love this powder. Though it typically annoys me to see how freely the term "HG" gets thrown around, I'm not ashamed to proclaim that this is absolutely my HG setting powder. Love, love, love!!!
Mascara -Jordana - Best Lash Extreme Volumizing Mascara
Superia84 4/26/2012 10:38:00 PM
I love, love, love this mascara!! I thought about giving it a lower rating, actually, because it's almost too good at what it does. I opted against it though, because I could just as easily be careful to not overdo it. My eyelashes are already crazy long and thick but don't we always want at least a bit more? What we have is never enough...that's an entirely different story. I will buy this mascara again and again. I especially love wearing it with little other makeup and just a wash of barely darker than flesh toned shadow and an inner corner highlight. This mascara does the rest of the work and makes my eyes the focus of the look. It also looks really good with a super dramatic eye as the lashes are lenghtened, defined, and volumized and don't get lost in all the darkness. My HG mascara (and I don't use that term lightly as it irritates the hell out of me, I don't know why. LOL)
Awful product!! The face wash, when used in conjunction with the other two steps, is incredibly drying. The toner, for me, was a disaster, and while it did brighten my skin, it made me breakout horribly thereby defeating the purpose. The repairing lotion was the only thing I actually liked but considering the price, I think I'll pass and just use the $4 Equate version. I'll never buy this again. No point in being a three step system if the tree steps can't be used together. My name is Sara and I don't approve this message!!
I breastfed my son for three years and this product saved my nipples in the beginning, when I was first getting the hang of things. This product really soothed them and I doubt I would have successfully breastfed or enjoyed it as much as I did without this product during the off times that my little guy wasn't nursing.(He's almost four now and still struggling with the fact that things aren't like they used to be.) I don't have any need for it anymore as I can't have anymore children due to health reasons **blinking back tears** but I would certainly recommend it to any breastfeeding mother struggling with chapped/cracking/bleeding nipples.
I HATE this product. Feels like paint (more like wall primer) but doesn't cover nearly as well for me as people say it does for them. It's not expensive but considering its poor performance, I think it is way overpriced. I will never buy this product again. I much prefer Maybelline Dream Matte Smooth (or whatever it's called).
Lips -Revlon - Color Burst lip butter - Cotton Candy
Superia84 4/26/2012 10:09:00 PM
Never thought I could pull off a pink as it always manages to look ridiculous on me but this is sheer enough that it doesn't look garish but pigmented enough that it shows. It's a great balance, indeed. I like how moisturizing it is, and though I wish it had a bit more lasting power, I'm not holding that against this product because it never did claim to be longwearing. I'm all over this product and will buy this and Brown Sugar for as long as they're in production. I do enjoy wearing a couple swipes of Cotton Candy and one swipe of Brown Sugar over it. I find that to be the best, most flattering color in the world for me. Hope that helps for all you caramel divas reading this.
Lipstick -Revlon - ColorBurst Lip Butter - Brown Sugar

Would I buy this again? You freaking bet I will!! I can't remember the last time I wore lipstick as I"m more of a lip gloss/balm kind of girl so this a nice transition into the world of lipstick for me. It's not long wearing at all but one cannot expect it to be considering how moisturizing this bad boy is. This is the perfect nude for me as I'm darker skin toned. I appreciate its versatility as I can wear it on a minimal make up day and it looks great or I can wear it with a super dark dramatic eye and it completes and polishes the look. I will buy this as long as it's in production!!!
This night cream is garbage!! There's no point in claiming any benefits of Vitamin A because it's photosensitive and is rendered inactive in that clear jar. I did rate it a three, though, because it is a great nighttime lip treatment. I've been blessed with perpetually dry, cracking, flaking lips regardless of my water consumption and time of year. I know, don't be jealous. j/k...All joking aside, since I started using this bad boy on my lips last week, I've had the softest, not-at-all troubled lips. While it's great on my lips--moisturizes and sinks in well--that was not it's intended purpose so I can rate it no higher than a three. With that said, I will never buy it again as I'm sure there are equally/better lip moisturizers out there in more sanitary packaging.
