Cleansers -Burt's Bees - Orange Essence Facial Cleanser
rated 2 of 5
Sunkiss987 8/25/2004 3:01:00 PM

I used this cleanser while I was on vacation. This cleanser fell very greasy when I put it on and it didn't do a good job washing off my makeup. The only good thing about it is the orange smell.

Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Lifeguard's Choice Weatherproofing Lip Balm
rated 2 of 5

The only positive thing about this balm is that it has a SPF of 30. I never use this balm because it turns by lips a horrible chalky white color. Why would I need the SPF if I can't go outside wearing this? I'd look like a weido. It also doesn't apply smoothly.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Rose Gold Pro Pigment
rated 5 of 5
Sunkiss987 8/22/2004 4:04:00 PM

On my NC20 skin Rose Gold is the most wearable out of all the metal pigments. Rose Gold is an antique gold with a hint of rose to it This shade really makes my hazel eyes stand out. All the metal pigments are very pigmented so a 1/4 tsp sample should last forever.

Highlighters -MAC - Crystallized Lime glitter
rated 5 of 5
Sunkiss987 8/22/2004 4:02:00 PM

I just recieved a sample of this glitter and I can't stop staring at it. It is a beautiful neon lime green that flashes yellow/green. I love the fine texture of this glitter. I plan on using this pigment over a liner and over nailpolish. I can't see myself using up a whole jar of this glitter. I think that my sample will go a long way.

Highlighters -MAC - Crystalized Yellow Glitter
rated 5 of 5
Sunkiss987 8/22/2004 4:01:00 PM

I just recieved a sample of this glitter. It is so pretty! Crystalled Yellow is a sheer neon yellow that reflects different colors. So far I've only used this glitter over a few of my eye combos. I plan on using this glitter over my nailpolish and over some of my liners. This glitter is a fun shade but I don't think that I'll get much use out of it. My 1/4 tsp sample with last for a long time.

Highlighters -MAC - Glitter Brillants - Reflects Pearl
rated 5 of 5
Sunkiss987 8/22/2004 3:25:00 PM

The texture of this glitter is so fine that it can almost be confused as a pigment. Reflects Pearl is a sheer white glitter with a pearl sheen to it. I like to use this glitter as a highlighter on my face or mixed with some body lotion. I am using this glitter more than I expected. I can't wait to try the other Reflects glitters!!!

Eye Shadow -MAC - Golden Lemon pigment
rated 5 of 5
Sunkiss987 8/13/2004 1:32:00 PM

Golden Lemon is an iredescent yellowy gold color. It can be blended sheer or packed on for a more intense look. I have a hard time wearing anything gold on my NC20 skin but this looks amazing. I think that this is one of the pigments that I will get more use out of. -*One of favorite looks with this pigment is to use Sea Me shadestick as a base with Cornflower pigment blended over it on the eyelid. Then I blend Teal pigment in the crease. I use the Golden Lemon pigment to highlight and then blend some of this pigment under my eyes to open them up. I like to use a shadow like Blu-Noir or Contrast to line. I get many compliments whenever I do this eye look.

This pigment is a beautiful vibrant green with some blue to it. I love the texture of this pigment. It blends well and is easy to use. One of favorite looks with this pigment is to use Sea Me shadestick as a base with Cornflower pigment blended over it on the eyelid. Then I blend the Teal pigment in the crease. I use Golden Lemon pigment to highlight and then blend some of this pigment under my eyes to open them up. I like to use a shadow like Blu-Noir or Contrast to line. I get many compliments whenever I do this eye look. Teal pigment also looks great applied wet as a liner.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Shadestick - Sea Me
rated 4 of 5
Sunkiss987 8/13/2004 1:30:00 PM

I would have never bought this shadestick because I didn't think that I would have got much use from it if a MA hadn't recommended it to me. Sea Me is a bright aqua turquoise color. I like to use it as a base for many eye looks. It looks great under pigments like Old Gold and Cornflower. It also looks great under Cranberry shadow for a deep plum color. The only downside to the shadesticks is that they can dry out easily if you forget to seal the cap tightly and they don't apply as smoothly as I'd like them to. Overall I'm happy with the my purchase.

Lip Liners -MAC - Subculture
rated 5 of 5
Sunkiss987 8/13/2004 1:28:00 PM

This is the only lipliner that works for me for a natural look!!! I have pale lips and this liner shows up a tad darker than my natural lip color. It is great by itself to line and fill my lips in or under more nautral colored glosses.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Cavalier (Rococo)
rated 5 of 5
Sunkiss987 8/13/2004 1:26:00 PM

I didn't expect much from this lipgloss. I am such a dork that I wanted to check it out because it has the same name that my car does. In the tube this gloss is a greyish lavender mauve. When I tried it on for the first time I was surprised that it gave my lips a pinky mauve glow. Kind of like the way Enchantress does but in a mauve color. This gloss works the best paired with a dramatic eye. I'm happy with my purchase! -(NC20/NC25, pale lips, hazel eyes, and blonde hair)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Fuchsia
rated 4 of 5
Sunkiss987 3/25/2004 7:37:00 PM

Fuschia is a fun pigment shade. The name accurately describes the color. This pigment can be applied sheerly or layered with a damp brush for a bright pop of color. I would purchase this pigment if I ever run out of my sample.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Gold Metal
rated 5 of 5
Sunkiss987 3/25/2004 7:37:00 PM

For the longest time I confused my Pro Gold pigment as just plain Gold. This pigment looks exactly like melted gold. I like to apply this pigment with a damp brush because it makes it easier to work with and makes the color more intense. This pigment makes a fun liner color and also would be great to use for body art. I have found that this pigment goes farther then a normal pigment , so a small sample should last forever.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pigment in Silver Metal
rated 5 of 5
Sunkiss987 3/25/2004 7:35:00 PM

For the longest time I confused my Pro Silver pigment as just plain silver. The silver metal looks exactly like liquid silver. I like to apply this pigment with a damp brush because it makes it easier to work with and makes the color more intense. This pigment makes a fun liner color and also would be great to use for body art. I have found that this pigment goes farther then a normal pigment , so a small sample should last forever.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Sable Eye Shadow
rated 5 of 5
Sunkiss987 3/22/2004 12:33:00 PM

Sable is a pretty frosty bronzey chocolate with a faint hint of plum. The first time that I applied Sable shadow it made my face look muddy and lifeless. After playing around with it for awhile I got it to work really well. It makes my hazel eyes come to life and is a nice alternative to a boring neutral eye. -(MAC NC20, hazel eyes, and med.- dark blonde hair)
