This product was recommended to me at Ulta, by an associate with skin similar to mine (pale, yellow, oily). I didn't buy it right away, but when I did, i was in love. It is a fairly thick, self setting cream. You really need a primer for it to go on smoothly, and the color choices are limited (which is why it gets a 4 instead of a 5). But, it leaves a flawless face that doesn't really require a setting powder (but I recommend one for oily skin). It is also very long lasting. Probably most similar to MUFE Mat Velvet, but I think it is longer lasting and overall much prettier.

Primer/ Corrector -Make Up For Ever - HD Microperfecting Primer

I thought I would really love this primer, because I love the MUFE HD foundation so much. I finally got some when I ran out of my SB primer (which i looooove). I goes on nicely, smells fine, has a nice texture etc, but when I put my foundation on it just pills up and i get little primer balls all over my face, gross! I tried it a few times, making sure to wait long enough for it to dry/using less/ using more, but nothing made it not come off in beads. Oh well, good thing I love smashbox and have no problem going back to that!

Primer/ Corrector -Urban Decay - Complexion Primer Potion - Pore Perfecting

SMELLS LIKE GLUE! And has the texture of glue too. And made my oily skin more oily. And did not do anything to enhance my foundation/smoothness of my skin. Total waste of money.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Light
Sunflower5418 12/13/2012 6:29:00 PM
Unlike the original SB primer which is silicone based this one is water based. I know some people like it because it is lighter and might be better for oily skin, but I found that It didn't really do anything at all. I didn't get the same smoothing effect from it as i did the original SB primer. I gave it a two because it didn't do anything bad, but it didn't do anything good either.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Anti - Shine (tube)
Sunflower5418 12/13/2012 6:24:00 PM
I bought this because I have excessively oily skin. However, I found that all this "primer" really does is create rough patches that are not suitable for blending foundation over. I hate wearing this under any kind of makeup, and if i wear it without makeup I end up with a dull grayish cast wherever I applied it. Also, it tends to fly out of the tube in little spurts that end up on the mirror or the wall, so be careful. ugh.

Primer/ Corrector -Smashbox - Photo Finish Primer

This is my favorite primer of all. It is silicone based so when I put it one it feels like velvet. With other primers that are water based I feel like they don't do anything (besides maybe pill up when I put foundation on). My makeup glides over this primer so easily and it helps keep its in place all day! I know some people with oily skin say it increases their oil, but I have not experienced that at all.
