Blush -NYX - Rouge Cream Blush - Rose Petal
Sugarnspice28 8/14/2011 6:41:00 AM
I finally got my NYX haul package yesterday and am in love with this creme blush! I am dark skinned (MAC NC42) and this worked very well to give me a slight flush of pink for a healthy glow. From some of the other reviews for this product I understand this works well with a lot of paler skin tones too. Product is quite sticky and I have only applied with a brush to blend. Living in the UK, NYX is non existent so ordered online and paid outrageous shipping but it still worked out cheaper than if I were to purchase from NYX UK. Small amount goes a long way so can see this lasting, you get 3.5g of product for $4.75. Packaging seems flimsy so be careful not to drop this on tiles/hard surfaces dolls.

Lips -NYX - Soft Matte Lip Cream in Abu Dhabi
Sugarnspice28 8/14/2011 6:26:00 AM
I really like this product as it glides on smooth, the colour is really pigmented and it is also true to its colour in the tube, lasts for a good few hours on the lips, good price, however as I live in the UK this brand is not available so have to order online and shipping is VERY costly. Only down side to this product is that it settles into the fine lines of my lips and as it is a super matte product it is drying on my lips. Have to pair this up with a lip balm underneath. Overall a fab product!

Styling Products -The Body Shop - Coconut Oil Hair Shine
Sugarnspice28 5/24/2011 5:50:00 AM
I have had this for months and am still unsure about this product. I have thick, wavey/curly/frizzy hair, it seems to tame the frizz and define the curls but it does not last as I wil need to repeat the process every couple of hours. I like the smell but it begins to make my hair smell of oil, without the coconut aroma (maybe because I apply at least 3/4 times a day, not sure). Still thinking about this one...

Eye Shadow -MAC - Trax
Sugarnspice28 5/24/2011 5:44:00 AM
I love this e/s! I pair it with Indianwood paint pot to bring out the gold glitter, glitter is fine and does not make me look sparkly, its just the right amount! Love it and highly recommend!

Styling Products -John Frieda - Frizz-Ease Extra Strength Hair Serum
Sugarnspice28 5/12/2011 8:47:00 AM
I have been using this product for 3 years now and cannot be without it! I use one/one and a half pumps in wet (mid length) hair and it keeps flyaways and frizz at bay. Leave it soft and manageable. Will continue to repurchase time and time again.

Loose Powders -E.L.F. - Studio High Definition Powder
Sugarnspice28 5/11/2011 5:26:00 AM
This is actually an impressive product. It is finely milled, and when used with a light hand creates a soft, matte on my face. For £6.00 it is considerably cheaper than MAC Prep & Prime. Keeps my face oil free for a considerably length of time too, I have been able to last the whole working day without having to blot or touch up once!

Polishes -Barry M - Instant Nail Effects
Sugarnspice28 5/10/2011 10:37:00 AM
Finally managed to get my hands on the black one of these! I love the effect it gives, work quickly as I have noticed the brush will dry very quickly and be careful not to go over any bit twice. Great product overall and so glad Barry M came out with this as I really wantt the OPI shatter but was put off the price!

Primer/ Corrector -BeneFit Cosmetics - Dr Feelgood
Sugarnspice28 1/21/2011 6:39:00 AM
This did nothing for me! I would use everyday religiously but it was a total waste of time. I used the sponge that it came with, could that be the issue?? Waste of money and time.

Eye Shadow -Inglot - Freedom System Palette
Sugarnspice28 1/20/2011 6:30:00 AM
Where has this brand been all my life?? So glad I took the plunge and bought the freedom 5 pallette (round) shadows. Inexpensive at £15 for 5 shadows (£3.50 to refill or replace once used up) and super pigmented. One con for me is that the green I got (will update with colour number later) is super glittery and almost appears to be silver because there is so much sheen in it.

Pressed Powders -MAC - Blot Powder
Sugarnspice28 1/20/2011 6:16:00 AM
I have only been using this in the dark shade (NW42) for a week and am already in love with this product! I have been using this with my MAC face and body to give myself a natural look for my office job. I apply every morning and do not need to touch up at all during the day which is rare for me as my whole face and neck is very, very oily (oil slick oily). I apply with a big brush all over my face and sweep gently over my neck. I know using the powder puff it comes with makes the coverage very heavy so I stayed away from it so my face does not look cakey. For those getting blotchy, I would suggest using a big fluffy brush to stop this happening. Will certainly repurchase again!

I love these brushes! Very soft, easy to wash, durable and easy to carry around in a small makeup bag. I got these off Ebay for about £8 so a bargain on top of the good quality!

Liquid -MAC - Face and Body Foundation
Sugarnspice28 1/18/2011 5:38:00 AM
I was looking for a natural looking foundation for the longest time, and this is certainly it! Love how it is so easy to apply, quite runny so I squeezed out more than I intended first time I used it! Used my 190 foundation brush and it gave me the most lovely looking skin ever. It appeared to be very shiny on my skin but it does 'dry' after a few minutes giving a dewy glow. I always powder with a mineralised powder in dark and it works a dream. Natural, fresh faced and weightless. I am aware that these do seperate but the MUA told me to give it a good shake to mix the product up again and that it should last for 24 months. I have a C5 shade and it is perfect for my NW42/C6 complexion. UPDATE - Ok, been using for 2 weeks now and have noticed spots on my face. Usually dont get spots, so am guessing it has something to do with this foundation as this is the only new product I have been using on my face. Anyone else suffering from the same thing??

Blush -MAC - Sur Blush
Sugarnspice28 1/18/2011 5:16:00 AM
A beautiful brown/red satin blush that works well for my NW42 complexion. Shame its limited edition because it is a very pretty colour. Staying power is good and I have very oily skin, it will still be subtly visible at the end of a 11 hour day so very pleased with this product overall.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Lipglass in Flash of Flesh
Sugarnspice28 1/18/2011 5:08:00 AM
I had to go to nearly every single MAC store in London to get my hands on this so I well and truely appreciate this! Very nice colour on my NW42 complexion. Bit thick and more sticky then my other lipglasses but I read that MAC and Mickey worked on the formula to get it like this so it stays on longer. Whichever way I am so upset I only have one!

Highlighters -Unlisted Brand - Me Me Me - Beat the Blues
Sugarnspice28 11/3/2010 9:31:00 AM
I have had this product for 2 months now and I love it! It does the same thing as my Benefit high beam but Mememe costs £5! I also mix a small amount of this in with my liquid foundation to give myself a nice glow without looking like a disco ball (I am NW42). It is my most used highlighter! Would recommend!
