This was absolute LOVE at first application. I was a bit hesitant to buy this at first because people said it felt drying on their lips, and was a bit hard to apply, but I haven't had that problem at all. I just put a thin cover of chapstick on my lips and then blot them with a towel first, and the application goes smoothly with a WONDERFUL matte effect. Yes, I'm a sucker for matte lipsticks, because I hate the feeling of sticky things on my lips, and this lipstick is about as matte as it gets. But the real wonder of this lipstick is how well it wears. I was actually shocked when I grabbed a glass of water and there was no - I repeat NO lipstick mark on the glass after I'd taken a zip! It wears like a champ, has the perfect red color and matte texture, so I am LOVING IT. New hg for sure!

Lipstick -MAC - Cremesheen - Creme d'Nude

I bought this nude because I wanted a really basic nude lipstick and it had great reviews. But I did not like it! Pros: 1. The color is very very nice and I would say the "perfect" nude shade. But that's about all the good things I can say about this lipstick! Cons: 1. The lipstick has a shiny texture, almost as a gloss. But I guess that's my own fault as I didn't realize it was a creme sheen. 2. It's not opaque, no matter how many layers I put on or how much I rub the product into my lips. It also makes lines more prominent on the lips. 3. Because of it's very glossy formula I can tell the lipstick is very prone to melting and/or breaking. 4. Again, due to the formula it slides all over the place and it does NOT stay on for long. As soon as I even lick my lips half of the color is gone. Bottom line: Not worth the money, quite pricey too. I wanted an opaque, nude lipstick that stays on, but the only good thing about this lipstick is the color for me. Will not repurchase or recommend it to anyone.

Pros: 1. I don't understand why some people complain about the smell... I think it smells amazing and fresh! 2. It gives a very natural, sun-kissed look (I have light, but my skin is very fair) 3. It hasn't broken me out at all. In fact, when I didn't use it for a few days, my skin broke out, then cleared up when I started using it again :/ 4. It is rather moisturizing, although I do use a teeny tiny bit of moisturized before I put it on... Cons: 1. Packaging is not the best. Every morning when I put it on, there is a bit of dried product that clumps together with the product... Idk, but I find it annoying. 2. My skin is naturally very oily, even before I used the product, but the product hasn't helped on the oil control, even with powder I still get oily after an hour. But, I don't think the product has made me MORE oily, and the powder I'm using is really a compact foundation from a drug store brand, so I guess I'll have to try a better blot powder and see how that works. Bottom line: I would purchase again, and I'm very happy with the product! :)

The color is GORGEOUS, but the formula is rather crappy. very thick and streaky! which is weird, since most reviews on this are great... maybe i was just unlucky with my bottle... ill try and fix it with some thinner though... anyways as i said, amazing amazing color... so if you can handle the crappy formula go for it :))
