I have to say, I was pleasantly suprised by this mascara. I haven't had the best luck with other Mac mascaras over the years and didn't hold out much hope for this one. Like others have said, it is *wet* on the brush, the first time I tried it I didn't wipe the excess on a tissue...BIG mistake...clump city, way Tammy Faye. I finally managed to seperate my lashes and found it flaked pretty badly that day. I gave it another try the next day and this time wiped the wand and layered a couple layers and got very nice seperation, no flakes, no problems. I've worn it every day for a week now and am pretty pleased with it. It is *not* waterproof, comes off easily with my Mac wipes and doesn't leave a lot of residue. Overall a nice mascara at a fair price I think. It's about time Mac gets their mascara right! :-)

As smrtblnd commented below, BEWARE OF THIS IF YOU ARE A BLOND...let me clarify this...be very wary if you are a bottle blond. My hair is probably 30% grey, naturally dishwater blonde, I've been coloring it with Garnier Nutrisse for a while, very happily. Had a dream date pop up and wanted to just touch up my roots so I bought a color that matched me exactly, medium neutral blonde...*big* mistake! Twenty minutes out as directed I rinsed this out to find my blonde hair was now nearly black. I checked the bottle to be sure I hadn't gotten the wrong shade, nope, medium neutral blonde. Forty shampoos in everything from dog shampoo to dishwashing liquid this semi-permenent color is still a dark chestnut brown color. I'm going in on Saturday to get this corrected professionally. Beware ye who color your hair, this stuff is not as it seems!
I bought this online nearly the day it was released and started using it about three weeks ago, my 40-something, sun damaged skin sucked it up like a Hoover on a pile of dust. I'm not sure why this is being marketed as an anti aging, emollient moisturizer, because it isn't emollient at all, on my dry skin it's almost like I haven't used anything! I tried slapping it on heavier, and got the same result, just more waxy feeling. This would probably be great for someone with combo or oily skin, maybe even a teen, but it just isn't enough moisture for this parched skin...

Wow, what a cool product, this glitter liner goes on and *stays*...no migration into the land where glitter must not tread. I wear eyeglasses and this really makes my eyes *pop*, not too spangly, just flat out *cool*...love it!
Just when I thought Creme de La Mer was perfect I tried the serum! It is a definite must-have with the creme,it seems to enhance the benefits exponentially. I haven't worked up the courage to lay out $175 for a full size, I've been buying samples on eBay, but a little goes a long way. If you love the creme you will love the serum!

My holy grail...as most reviewers have discovered, this isn't a product for smooth young skin, but take some sun damage, a few years and a few lines and this stuff is *magic*! Yes it is ungodly expensive, yes there doesn't appear to contain any magic ingredients but it works somehow, and for my money, that says it all! Lines, dark circles fade away, my dry skin is glowing and happy...so am I!
Wow, here in humid, hot Kentucky this product really took the frizz out of my color processed dry hair, left it shiny, managable and not too limp or greasy...this is a definite find!
