Hair Color -L'Oreal - Dream Blonde

Love this product- I used 9A Orchid and after many years of using L'Oreal's Preference I decided to try this. The color is great; not too bleachy blonde or brassy at all. The coverage on my roots was excellent with no demarkation between my old color and the new. It is a little pricey compared to other haircolors but worth it. Will repurchase for sure.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Line Stylist

I don't know why this has such bad reviews- I love this product. It gives me a nice, natural line that lasts. The color I use (the purple-y one) is absolutely perfect- not too harsh but gives great definition to my eyes. I have not had any problems with it breaking off or being too brittle. Will re-purchase for sure.

Blush -Tarte - Cheek Stain in Flush

After so many great reviews, I thought this product might be the answer to my discontinued HG L'oreal gel blush- R.I.P. (I still have moments of deep sadness). The good: it is a nice color that would probably suit most complexions, it has a decent amount of lasting power, and blends fairly well. The bad: I'm not sure it ever dries- there is a sticky film that just doesn't seem to go away making it hard to powder over. Oily skin may have better luck with this product. The best application I've found is with the fingers and that leaves the problem of trying to get it off your fingers even with soap. For the price I paid (even on eBay), I am disappointed.

Crème -Avon - PERSONAL MATCH Cream-to-Powder Foundation SPF 10

I really like this; I have it in the Almond shade (my skin tone is fairly light with pinkish undertones). The foundation blends very well with my skin and looks very natural. Coverage is medium- takes care of minor redness and evens things out nicely. I don't find it drying on my combo skin or oily in the T-zone even without powder. The only reason I didn't give it 5 lippies is the coverage isn't very buildable on me and I didn't find it layered well with concealer. This is a good for those weekend or casual days when you don't want to spend much time on make-up.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. - Foundation brush

I love these brushes!! I found them first at a local Shopko in the dollar section a year or so ago; there were only 2 left and I snagged both having just purchased a very expensive Lacome brush that I also love. Don't get me wrong- the Lacome is far superior for applying foundation on large areas but for eyelids and undereyes and those areas around the nose these brushes are perfect. I have had no issues with the handles and even with frequent washing these have lasted well with no shedding. The best buck I ever spent on a makeup item.
