I used this for the first time last night and I have woken up this morning with a bright red face!! Help! I didn't anticipate that as I've used BP products before. I wonder if anyone else has had this experience with this.

This worked really well as a primer - much to my surprise, however it started breaking me out - causing lots of little pimples all over my cheeks. so I've stopped using it. I would definitely recommend it for those with non acne prone skin - its a great, cheaper alternative to branded primers, why pay so much when you don't have to! However, for us acne prone oily girls out there I wouldn't recommend it.

I've been using this for a couple of days and I'm horrified, it makes my eyelids stick together and makes alot of my lashes fall out. Not good. I have stooped using it. Would not recommended.

The first three weeks of using this my skin looked great, it was clearing up nicely, hardly had any breakouts, I was so happy - thought I finally found a product that actually works.... However after continued use my skin became really bad, and I mean really really bad, one morning I woke up with over twenty whiteheads, Red scaly skin, I was horrified. My skin had never been like that before. Almost became quite depressed, didn't wasn't to go out or go work an face people! Couldn't figure out how an why that could have happened. But I'm going to stay away from this. Would not recommend.

I'm afraid I did not like this at all. Couldn't apply it well enough to my skin. Made me look quite ghosty and greasy. Didn't 'get' this product at all. Disappointed as JI products are generally quite good.

I used this for about a year. It smoothed my skin quite nicely and it was easier to apply my powder foundation on top. Does not help oily skin though - which was why I didnt re purchase after it ran out (I actually also tried the Prime Time OIl Control versionof this - and that was worse than this one) (I currently use L'oreal studio secrets primer now - which is a little better for oily skin)

I have been using this for almost a year now. Pros - Makes my skin appear smooth - Minimises my pores (mine are humongous) - Controls my oily skin a little - Healthy ingredients - Does not break me out Cons - It has a pink undertone, not great for minimising red skin - I re apply this about 4 to 5 times day to keep my face matt enough - Starts looking too 'cakey' the more you re apply it, For me- by the fourth application it starts looking cakey so not too bad i suppose. Overall its ok, I just wish It would control oil just a little better.

I bought the green one when I was on Obagi - to help with my red skin at the time. - I found the consistency quite 'watery' and didn't find it sat well on my skin. - Made my skin look quite shiny - Rolled off in balls when I applied my foundation. - Didn't use it again - Got the full bottle still sitting on my shelf. - I woundn't recommend.

This is "ok". It smoothes my skin enough as a base for my foundation. But I have very oily skin which it controls it 'adequately' - not great. I'm still on the search for a better primer.

I actually purchased this after reading all the positive reviews on here. I have extremely oil skin and have tried numerous primers - so I thought I would give this a try. Sadly.. - It did not help control my oily skin at all - Broke my skin out ALOT - I'm actually quite scared to use it again!! - Waste of money imho I was quite suprised especially after all the good reviews - I suppose It just isn't suited to my skin :( Back to Loreal studio secrets primer for me for now until I find something better.

This is the best foundation I have ever used (and I have tried LOADS!). My skin is red, with acne and large pores, loads of scars. I started using this makeup when I started the Obagi regime as I needed makeup that was not going to irritate my skin whilst I was on Obagi (Obagi didnt work out for me btw - see my other reviews). Pros- - Good coverage (even for my skin) - SPF protection - Easy to apply - Natural ingredients good for the skin. - Doesnt break me out Cons - I wish It would control my oil a little better (I still have to blot about 4-5x a day) - Not sure about the GOLD case lol - I dont use the sponge that comes with it - I use the Jane Iredale buffing brush I have re purchsed this several times Would recommend

So far I'm quite liking this. Been using it for about 2 weeks now. Have to say - I don't think it helps with my acne all that much (I am still breaking out) But - It does control my oily skin a teeny tiny bit (I find myself blotting my face about 4-5x a day - as opposed to 9-10x a day!) Probably would re purchase - If I didnt find anything better.

Did not like this at all. It did not help my acne, it did not help my skin be less oily and it irritated my skin. Stopped using it. Waste of money.

Did not like this at all. It did absolutely nothing for me - Did not help oily skin at all - In fact I think it made it more oily! Used it a couple of times and now its in the bottom of one my drawers somewhere. Total waste of money. I do not recommend.
