Eye Primer -NYX - Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone

Bought this without realising it's a BASE not a primer. Read up and have found it's actually what I need. I use Too Faced Shadow insurance which is colourless on me but NYX base covers my veiny lids for a great base. Good vibrancy improvement, so cheap. I don't love the pots but it's great for the price.

Bought this as a replacement for my HG $$$ Hourglass Mineral Veil. Impressed so far - other reviewers noticed a white cast, I didn't. I'm NC 25 with oily skin. Without primer, I feel oil come through my makeup and have to blot. I wore this primer while unpacking boxes and moving a lot around at work and had no slippage or fading. Used it with MAC studio fix fluid foundation and cream blush. Love a pump bottle - so much more hygienic. I use 3 little squirts to do my whole face (I'm very oily!) but you only need to put it where you get oily (usually the T-Zone). Overall, very happy with this product!

Lipstick -La Femme - Cleo Red

Bought this for AUD $9.95 from Crush Cosmetics. Love this lipstick - it's smooth and pigmented so it applies beautifully. It lasts for a long time which can be a bad thing because it comes off whenever you touch it. No kissing, you'll both look sick. Cleo Red is a gorgeous red which flatters olive skin tones.

Love this product, such a shame I didn't put the top on properly and it dried out! Dries SO quick and glossy and hard :)

Eye Shadow -MAC - Paint Pot in Moss Scape

I use this colour as a base for green toned eyeshadows and on its own. Great payoff, lasts for ages. I tend to apply it with my fingers and then clean it up for best texture.

Nice fluffy texture but the packaging is a bit unhygienic in that it's a pot. Great colour payoff.

Got this as a gift - smooth almost mousse-y texture with good colour payoff. I use it in the corners of my eyes or over top of other colours to add shimmer.

Got this as a free gift with an order from Crush Cosmetics, glad I checked the reviews here otherwise I wouldn't have known to try it wet. I have a bronzey colour and like another said; all over wash or highlights without blending.

Lipstick -Chanel - Hysteria

Love this lipstick. Almost black, with purple hints. Chanel's classic pop tube means it's always secure and when you layer it over a pink base it shows up that great purple tone. Fantastic smoothness to it.

Received this as a birthday gift from a friend. It's a great shade in the packaging. The pot makes it difficult to keep all the pigment inside, it tends to go everywhere. On the skin, the black base seems to take over unless you carefully pack it on.

Love love LOVE this product. I have it in pure white and tropical green. Goes on so smooth and stays really well. Would buy it in every colour.

I use this around my eyes and occasionally on pimples but only because I had it left over. Kinda neither here nor there. Good texture for coverage though.

My HG mascara for a good natural look. Kinda exxy but I buy the sample sizes off eBay because mascara should be replaced often :). Holds curl well and lengthens.

Lip Gloss -L'Oreal - Glam Shine 6H

I got this on special for less than half the price of it normally in Endless Carmine. It's become my favourite gloss at the moment - the colour is deeper and the gloss is really nice. I've found that if you try and touch it up too much though the texture gets gritty. It really does last a long time but at the cost of it being a fair bit sticky. No kissing. Just don't :)

Use this quad for all of my natural stuff, including smokey eyes. I don't bother with the sponge and stuff that comes with it, I use brushes. I'm NC25 with brown hair and eyes and olive undertones so it looks really good.
