Lipstick -Guerlain - Rouge Automatique

I have this in two shades that I absolutely love. I'm extremely picky when it comes to scents with cosmetics. This product has a subtle fragrance when applied, which feels like an added indulgence. There is quite a range of colors, and I'm eager to add more to my daily makeup arsenal. This formula is extremely moisturizing and feels velvety soft. (Sometimes I'll just sit there for a moment and rubs my lips together, it feels so nice! A texture unlike I've ever experienced.) The color lasts all day long, which is unusual for me. And, I love the gadget-y way that this product opens. :3 If you're looking to spoil yourself via lipstick, definitely give the Guerlain Rouge Automatique a try.

Concealers -Bobbi Brown - Corrector

Me: NC20-25. Oily skin. Oily hair. And horrible, indented, purple blue red under eye circles. Like a cookie cutter shape removed the nice, smooth skin to reveal the blaagh underneath. Erm, anyway, you could possibly say I have bad under eye circles and like most girls in my boat, you've gone through every concealer/corrector/ANYthing out there that could possibly help the situation. After looking on MUA of course, I decided to give Bobbi Brown's Correctors a try. I love love LOVE her gel liners, mmmhm~! So I figured, maybe this would work for me. So I bought the Corrector in Light Bisque and Light Peach. I thought I would be using the Light Peach more because it's more of a yellow based corrector, and since I'm a yellow-based gal :D that this would counteract the circles of evil. But I found that this didn't do as great of a job.. hrmm. It needed some help. I started to incorporate the Light Bisque and - wow -.. as a warm toned gal, I was NERVOUS of the pink in the Light Bisque. I was like, eghh, how is this going to even remotely neutralize the purples under these eyes? But whoa, I was wrong! This really gives a nice, healthy, fleshy (versus dead zombie) look under the eyes! YAY! It's nice to mix a bit of the Light Bisque and the Light Peach under the eyes. Sometimes I get really excited and I want to use a LOT of the product - but DON'T! When you feel like you've found something that works so well, sometimes you overindulge ( n_n; ) and I've found myself doing that with the correctors. NOOO.. Putting this stuff on thick isn't the way to go! Use it lightly, I use a fluffy tipped brush to apply vs the normal flat slick concealer brushes. I puff this on beneath my eyes, giving it more of a stipple I suppose. Just kind of an airbrushed look. I don't use foundation and only mostly just need to conceal under my eyes, so I take this very seriously! These suckers are dark, and this stuff works pretty well. :3 It lasts for a bit, I mean like 4~5 hours. I notice around 5ish hours I'm starting to look zombie like again, but that's okay. At least 5 hours! That's pretty good gals. I know lots of girls like to touch up during the day, and with how compact and convenient the packaging is, you could easily take this with you in your purse or wristlet or whatever you wish! So if you have dark circles, I'd give the BB Corrector a try. It works for me until I find my true true HG! :3

Moisturizers -Desert Essence - Jojoba Oil - 100% pure
rated 5 of 5

Jojoba oil. I love you. :D You do so much for me! Remove any stubborn makeup, Cleanse my pores, Relieve an itchy dry winter scalp, Moisturize and heal dry skin (knees, elbows, heels, etc.), and so much more. I just wanted to let everyone know all the things that you do, and hopefully you can help them out as well! Ladies, it's cheap, it is a MULTI-TASKER. It does 293480932 different things in one bottle. Um, that works for me. :3 I'm: An Oilllyyyy skinned girl, with extremely oily hair. My skin is relatively okay, except for those horrible hormonal breakouts. I use this to remove my makeup in the shower (get your face wet first) and it works on any kind of mascara I wear. :D I like to put jojoba oil on my neck, knees, feet, etc etc everywhere! The steam of the shower kinda' makes the oil sink in more (or at least that's what I tell myself.. XD) and it gives you a pretty luxurious feel.

Mascara -MAC - Haute & Naughty Lash
rated 5 of 5
StacyElizabeth 10/23/2011 11:54:00 PM

HG. ... HG. I've found it, my HG mascara. This mascara brings my short, thin, barely there Asian eyelashes to life. I've tried them all ladies, you know how it is, that's why you're reading this review! But please, just give this a try. Haute for work. Naughty for night. Just believe me, this will give thickness, length, and the curl will STAY until you remove the mascara. I mean it. This lasts after a full day at work, then an hour of cardio kickboxing. Talk about sweating like crazy - and it's always perfect afterwords. :)

Highlighters -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish in Soft and Gentle
rated 5 of 5

For refrence: I'm NC 25 with brown hair and brownish/hazel eyes. I absolutely love this MSF highlighter! When I first bought it, I wasn't quite sure how to use it correctly.. but of course, the lovely members of MUA have helped me out so much! I take a flat topped brush and swipe some MSF, tap off the excess. Then I run it along the upper portions of my cheekbones [ you're trying to accentuate the portions of your face that you want to bring out - like the highest points of your cheekbones, the middle of your nose, the areas above your eyebrows, your chin, above your cupid's bow (upper lip) etc. ] and the rest of my highlight areas. This gives a wonderful, gentle inner glow.. It makes me look so happy after I wear it! You can also use this as a highlight for your upper brow bone, or even an eyeshadow! If I want to add a bit of sparkle to my lips, I dip my ring finger into the MSF and get a tiny bit, and dab it on the middle of my lower lip and blend it in. This is such a natural looking product.. and it goes so well with my skin. It is a bit on the warmer side, which goes perfectly with my NC complexion. I absolutely love it. It's a total HG for me, and I advise anyone looking for a highlighter to get this! It also lasts all day long.. when I do my makeup at 6 AM, this wonderful highlighter is still there when I get home at 5 PM! I have rather sensitive skin, and it doesn't break me out in the slightest. I haven't had any problems with this product at all. There is definitely a generous amount that comes in the packaging.. I just wish I could afford to have a lifetimes worth of backups! =)

Conditioner -John Frieda - Go Blonder Lightening Conditioner
rated 3 of 5

I'm naturally a dark brunette, but I highlight my hair pretty blonde. I wanted something that would keep that blonde look, but also give me an overall "sunkissed" appearance. I got EXACTLY that! At my graduation I had everyone coming up to me, commenting on how nice my hair looked and how "natural" my hair looked, my cousin and aunt even said that it looked sunkissed - their words! I use the shampoo and the conditioner together, the shampoo kind of dries my hair out but when I use the conditioner it gets pretty smooth. Sometimes I use another conditioner on top of it to make it extra smooth. But anyway, this totally works as a lightening product, I love it! I just bought the Sheer Blonde Tone Restoring shampoo to get the brassy sort of colors out, so I'm excited to give that a try next. :D EDIT (10-30-2011): This stuff is eh, I mean it did make my hair lighter, combined with the shampoo, but it wasn't GOOD for my hair. =/ It left my hair really brittle later on after the effects of this stuff wore off. Just FYI.
