Moisturizers -Desert Essence - Jojoba Oil - 100% pure

I follow the "less is more" approach to skincare and try to find the simplest products I can, because my sensitive skin is easily irritated by fillers, fragrances, etc. that are added to most products. 100% pure organic jojoba oil is my holy grail facial moisturizer. Doesn't get any more basic and natural than that. I wear it under makeup without problems and also at night when I go to bed. To apply, rub only a few drops between the palms of your hands, then pat or massage it into your clean skin. I always take a couple extra drops and focus on my eye area, even rubbing it into my eyelashes. It makes them thick, glossy, less brittle. Jojoba oil mimics the skin's natural sebum, so it soaks up quite nicely, hydrating from within giving a very "glowy" look. When I apply it at night, I wake up with skin that is even toned, plump, youthful, and with no flakes. Also, I am acne-prone, and can say with certainty that this does not contribute to clogged pores (I know alot of acne-prone people will be nervous about putting oil on their face.) I also use it as an eye makeup remover, rub it into rough cuticles, or smooth a couple drops through the ends of my hair for extra moisture and shine. Perfect, completely natural, multi-use product.
Lotions/ Creams -Alba Botanica - Original Body Lotion

I permanently switched to this and haven't used anything else in years, so I think it's time to write a review. I have very sensitive skin that tends to be dry and itchy. This lotion moisturizes and soothes the way no other lotion does. When I put it on my legs after shaving it doesn't burn at all, it just calms the irritation. My skin drinks it up right away and feels hydrated from *within* rather than just on the surface. My skin is SOOO soft thanks to this product. Even places that are normally very scaley and rough, like elbows, will feel like silk after you use this on 'em. I love that they offer an unscented version as well as a scented version. I've used them both and they deliver the same results. It is suitable year-round. Light enough for summer but rich enough for winter. Two negative points: 1.) It's hard to find. I've searched my area and the only places near me that have it are Target and Whole Foods. By "near" I mean a 30 minute drive. I've resorted to ordering it online by the gallon, and putting it into my own pump dispenser bottles. 2.) It's expensive, at least for my budget. But i'm willing to shell out because it's soooo worth it. .
